1. After the plague the LORD said to Moses and to Eleazar son of Aaron the priest,

2. మీరు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వసమాజములోను ఇరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో సేనగా బయలు వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబములను బట్టి వ్రాయించుడి.

2. 'Take a census of the whole community of Israelites, from twenty years old and upward, by their clans, everyone who can serve in the army of Israel.'

3. So Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab, by the Jordan River across from Jericho. They said,

5. Reuben was the firstborn of Israel. The Reubenites: from Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; from Pallu, the family of the Palluites;

6. from Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; from Carmi, the family of the Carmites.

7. These were the families of the Reubenites; and those numbered of them were 43,730.

8. Pallu's descendant was Eliab.

9. Eliab's descendants were Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram. It was Dathan and Abiram who as leaders of the community rebelled against Moses and Aaron with the followers of Korah when they rebelled against the LORD.

10. The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and Korah at the time that company died, when the fire consumed 250 men. So they became a warning.

18. These were the families of the Gadites according to those numbered of them, 40,500.

19. The descendants of Judah were Er and Onan, but Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.

20. And the Judahites by their families were: from Shelah, the family of the Shelahites; from Perez, the family of the Perezites; and from Zerah, the family of the Zerahites.

21. And the Perezites were: from Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; from Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.

22. These were the families of Judah according to those numbered of them, 76,500.

27. These were the families of the Zebulunites, according to those numbered of them, 60,500.

28. The descendants of Joseph by their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.

32. from Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites; from Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.

33. Now Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons, but only daughters; and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.

34. వీరు మనష్షీయుల వంశస్థులు; వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్యచొప్పున వీరు ఏబది రెండువేల ఏడు వందలమంది.

34. These were the families of Manasseh; those numbered of them were 52,700.

35. ఎఫ్రాయిము పుత్రుల వంశములు ఇవి; షూతలహీయులు షూతలహు వంశస్థులు; బేకరీయులు బేకరు వంశస్థులు; తహనీయులు తహను వంశస్థులు,

35. These are the Ephraimites by their families: from Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; from Beker, the family of the Bekerites; from Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

36. Now these were the Shuthelahites: from Eran, the family of the Eranites.

37. These were the families of the Ephraimites, according to those numbered of them, 32,500. These were the descendants of Joseph by their families.

38. బెన్యామీను పుత్రుల వంశములలో బెలీయులు బెల వంశస్థులు; అష్బేలీయులు అష్బేల వంశస్థులు;

38. The Benjaminites by their families: from Bela, the family of the Belaites; from Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; from Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

39. అహీరామీయులు అహీరాము వంశస్థులు;

39. from Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites; from Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.

40. షూపామీయులు షూపాము వంశస్థులు; బెల కుమారులు ఆర్దు నయమాను; ఆర్దీయులు ఆర్దు వంశ స్థులు; నయమానీయులు నయమాను వంశస్థులు.

40. The descendants of Bela were Ard and Naaman. From Ard, the family of the Ardites; from Naaman, the family of the Naamanites.

41. వీరు బెన్యామీనీయుల వంశస్థులు; వారిలో వ్రాయబడిన లెక్కచొప్పున నలుబదియయిదువేల ఆరువందల మంది.

41. These are the Benjaminites, according to their families, and according to those numbered of them, 45,600.

42. These are the Danites by their families: from Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These were the families of Dan, according to their families.

43. All the families of the Shuhahites according to those numbered of them were 64,400.

44. The Asherites by their families: from Imnah, the family of the Imnahites; from Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; from Beriah, the family of the Beriahites.

45. బెరీయానీయులలో హెబెరీయులు హెబెరు వంశస్థులు; మల్కీయేలీయులు మల్కీయేలు వంశస్థులు;

45. From the Beriahites: from Heber, the family of the Heberites; from Malkiel, the family of the Malkielites.

46. ఆషేరు కుమార్తె పేరు శెరహు.

46. Now the name of the daughter of Asher was Serah.

47. వ్రాయబడినవారి సంఖ్య చొప్పున వీరు ఆషేరీయుల వంశస్థులు; వీరు ఏబది మూడువేల నాలుగు వందలమంది.

47. These are the families of the Asherites, according to those numbered of them, 53,400.

48. నఫ్తాలీ పుత్రుల వంశములలో యహసయేలీయులు యహసయేలు వంశస్థులు; గూనీ యులు గూనీ వంశస్థులు;

48. The Naphtalites by their families: from Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; from Guni, the family of the Gunites;

49. యేసెరీయులు యేసెరు వంశ స్థులు; షిల్లేమీయులు షిల్లేము వంశస్థులు.

49. from Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; from Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

50. These were the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those numbered of them were 45,400.

51. These were those numbered of the Israelites, 601,730.

52. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను వీరి పేళ్ల లెక్క చొప్పున ఆ దేశమును వీరికి స్వాస్థ్యముగా పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

52. Then the LORD spoke to Moses:

53. ఎక్కువమందికి ఎక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను;

53. 'To these the land must be divided as an inheritance according to the number of the names.

54. తక్కువమందికి తక్కువ స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్య వలెను. దాని దాని జనసంఖ్యనుబట్టి ఆయా గోత్రములకు స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను.

54. To a larger group you will give a larger inheritance, and to a smaller group you will give a smaller inheritance. To each one its inheritance must be given according to the number of people in it.

55. చీట్లువేసి ఆ భూమిని పంచిపెట్టవలెను. వారు తమ తమ పితరుల గోత్రముల జనసంఖ్యచొప్పున స్వాస్థ్యమును పొందవలెను.

55. The land must be divided by lot; and they will inherit in accordance with the names of their ancestral tribes.

56. ఎక్కువ మందికేమి తక్కువమందికేమి చీట్లు వేసి యెవరి స్వాస్థ్య మును వారికి పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

56. Their inheritance must be apportioned by lot among the larger and smaller groups.

57. వారివారి వంశములలో లెక్కింపబడిన లేవీయులు వీరు. గెర్షోనీయులు గెర్షోను వంశస్థులు; కహాతీయులు కహాతు వంశస్థులు; మెరారీయులు మెరారి వంశస్థులు.

57. And these are the Levites who were numbered according to their families: from Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; from Merari, the family of the Merarites.

58. లేవీయుల వంశములు ఏవనగా, లిబ్నీయుల వంశము హెబ్రోనీయుల వంశము మహలీయుల వంశము మూషీ యుల వంశము కోరహీయుల వంశము.

58. These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.

59. కహాతు అమ్రామును కనెను; అమ్రాము భార్యపేరు యోకెబెదు. ఆమె లేవీ కుమార్తె; ఐగుప్తులో ఆమె లేవీకి పుట్టెను. ఆమె అమ్రామువలన అహరోనును మోషేను వీరి సహోదరియగు మిర్యామును కనెను.

59. Now the name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt. And to Amram she bore Aaron, Moses, and Miriam their sister.

60. అహరోను వలన నాదాబు అబీహు ఎలియాజరు ఈతామారు పుట్టిరి.

60. And to Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

61. నాదాబు అబీహులు యెహోవా సన్నిధికి అన్యాగ్ని తెచ్చినప్పుడు చనిపోయిరి.

61. But Nadab and Abihu died when they offered strange fire before the LORD.

62. వారిలో నెల మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి లెక్కింపబడినవారందరు ఇరువది మూడు వేలమంది. వారు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో లెక్కింపబడినవారు కారు గనుక ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారికి స్వాస్థ్యమియ్య బడలేదు.

62. Those of them who were numbered were 23,000, all males from a month old and upward, for they were not numbered among the Israelites; no inheritance was given to them among the Israelites.

63. యెరికో ప్రాంతములయందలి యొర్దానునొద్దనున్న మోయాబు మైదానములలో మోషేయు యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల జనసంఖ్య చేసినప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారు వీరు.

63. These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the Israelites in the plains of Moab along the Jordan River opposite Jericho.

64. మోషే అహరోనులు సీనాయి అరణ్యములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సంఖ్యను చేసి నప్పుడు లెక్కింపబడినవారిలో ఒక్కడైనను వీరిలో ఉండ లేదు.

64. But there was not a man among these who had been among those numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest when they numbered the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai.

65. ఏలయనగా వారు నిశ్చయముగా అరణ్యములో చనిపోవుదురని యెహోవా వారినిగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చెను. యెపున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబును నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువయు తప్ప వారిలో ఒక్కడైనను మిగిలి యుండలేదు.

65. For the LORD had said of them, 'They will surely die in the wilderness.' And there was not left a single man of them, except Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
