1. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying:

2. Auenge the children of Israel of the Madianites, & afterwarde shalt thou be gathered vnto thy people.

3. మోషే ప్రజలతోమీలో కొందరు యుద్ధసన్నద్ధులై మిద్యానీయుల మీదికి పోయి మిద్యానీయులకు యెహోవా విధించిన ప్రతి దండన చేయునట్లు

3. And Moyses spake vnto the folke, saying: Harnesse some of you vnto warre, and let them go vpon the Madianites, & auenge the Lorde of the Madianites.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములన్నిటిలోను ప్రతి గోత్రములోనుండి వేయేసిమందిని ఆ యుద్ధమునకు పంపవలె ననెను.

4. Of euery tribe a thousande, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shal ye sende to the warre.

5. అట్లు గోత్రమొక్కంటికి వేయిమంది చొప్పున, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సేనలలో నుండి పండ్రెండు వేల యుద్ధ వీరులు ఏర్పరచబడగా

5. And there were deliuered out of the thousandes of Israel, twelue thousand prepared vnto warre, of euery tribe a thousande.

6. మోషే వారిని, అనగా ప్రతి గోత్రమునుండి వేయేసి మందిని, యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరు కుమారుడైన ఫీనెహాసును పంపెను. అతని చేతిలోని పరిశుద్ధమైన ఉపకరణములను ఊదుటకు బూరలను యుద్ధమునకు పంపెను.

6. And Moyses sent the to ye warre, euen a thousande of euery tribe, & with them Phinees the sonne of Eleazar the priest to the warre, and the holy vessels, & the trumpets to blowe were in his hande.

7. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు వారు మిద్యానీయులతో యుద్ధముచేసి మగవారినందరిని చంపిరి.

7. And they warred agaynst the Madianites as the Lord comaunded Moyses, and slue all the males.

8. చంపబడిన యితరులుగాక మిద్యానురాజులను, అనగా మిద్యాను అయిదుగురు రాజులైన ఎవీని, రేకెమును, సూరును, హూరును, రేబను చంపిరి. బెయోరు కుమారుడైన బిలామును ఖడ్గముతో చంపిరి.

8. And they slue the kynges of Madian among other that were slayne: Namelye, Eui, and Rekem, Zur, & Hur, and Reba: fiue kynges of Madian, with Balaam the sonne of Beor, whom they slue with the sworde.

9. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు మిద్యాను స్త్రీలను వారి చిన్న పిల్లలను చెరపట్టుకొని, వారి సమస్త పశువులను వారి గొఱ్ఱె మేకలన్నిటిని వారికి కలిగినది యావత్తును దోచుకొనిరి.

9. And the children of Israel toke all the women of Madian prisoners, and their children, and spoyled all their cattel, and all their flockes, and all their goodes.

10. మరియు వారి నివాస పట్టణములన్నిటిని వారి కోటలన్నిటిని అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేసిరి.

10. And they burnt all their cities wherin they dwelt, and all their goodly dwellynges, with fire:

11. వారు మనుష్యులనేమి పశువులనేమి సమస్తమైన కొల్లసొమ్మును మిద్యానీయుల ఆస్తిని యావత్తును తీసికొనిరి.

11. And they toke all the spoyle, and all the bootie, both of men and beastes.

12. తరువాత వారు మోయాబు మైదానములలో యెరికో యొద్దనున్న యొర్దాను దగ్గర దిగియున్న దండులో మోషే యొద్దకును యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు నొద్దకును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజము నొద్దకును చెరపట్టబడినవారిని అపహరణములను ఆ కొల్ల సొమ్మును తీసికొని రాగా

12. And they brought the captiues, and that which they had taken, and the spoyle, vnto Moyses and Eleazar the priest, and vnto the companie of the children of Israel, euen vnto the hoast that were in the fieldes of Moab by Iordane, ouer agaynst Iericho:

13. మోషేయు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరును సమాజ ప్రధానులందరును వారిని ఎదుర్కొనుటకు పాళెములోనుండి వెలుపలికి వెళ్లిరి.

13. And Moyses and Eleazar the priest, and all the lordes of the congregation, went out of the hoast to meete them.

14. అప్పుడు మోషే యుద్ధసేనలోనుండి వచ్చిన సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులునగు సేనానాయకులమీద కోపపడెను.

14. And Moyses was angrie with the officers of the hoast, with the captaynes ouer thousandes, and ouer hundredes, which came from the warre & battayle.

15. మోషే వారితో మీరు ఆడువారినందరిని బ్రదుకనిచ్చితిరా?

15. And Moyses sayde vnto them: Haue ye saued all the women alyue?

16. ఇదిగో బిలాము మాటనుబట్టి పెయోరు విషయములో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులచేత యెహోవామీద తిరుగుబాటు చేయించిన వారు వీరు కారా? అందుచేత యెహోవా సమాజములో తెగులు పుట్టియుండెను గదా.

16. Beholde, these caused the children of Israel through the councel of Balaam, to commit trespasse agaynst the Lorde in the businesse of Peor, and there folowed a plague among the congregation of the Lorde.

17. కాబట్టి మీరు పిల్లలలో ప్రతి మగవానిని పురుషసంయోగము ఎరిగిన ప్రతి స్త్రీని చంపుడి;

17. Nowe therfore, slay all the men children, and kyl the women that haue lien with men fleshly.

18. పురుషసంయోగము ఎరుగని ప్రతి ఆడుపిల్లను మీ నిమిత్తము బ్రతుకనీయుడి.

18. But all the women children that haue not lien with men carnally, kepe alyue for your selues.

19. మీరు ఏడు దినములు పాళెము వెలుపల ఉండవలెను; మీలో నరుని చంపిన ప్రతివాడును చంపబడిన నరుని ముట్టిన ప్రతివాడును, మీరును మీరు చెరపట్టినవారును మూడవ దినమున ఏడవ దినమున మిమ్మును మీరే పవిత్ర పరచుకొనవలెను.

19. And ye shall remayne without the hoast seuen dayes, all that haue kylled any person, and all that haue touched any dead body, and purifie both your selues and your prisoners the thirde day and the seuenth.

20. మీరు బట్టలన్నిటిని చర్మ వస్తువులన్ని టిని మేక వెండ్రుకల వస్తువులన్నిటిని కొయ్య వస్తువులన్నిటిని పవిత్రపరచవలెననెను.

20. And purifie all your raymentes, and that is made of skinnes, and all worke of goates heere, and all thinges made of wood.

21. అప్పుడు యాజకుడగు ఎలి యాజరు యుద్ధమునకు పోయిన సైనికులతో యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన విధియేదనగా

21. And Eleazar the priest sayde vnto the men of warre which went to the battayle: This is the ordinauce of the lawe which the Lorde comaunded Moyses:

22. మీరు బంగారును వెండిని ఇత్తడిని ఇనుమును తగరమును సీసమును

22. As for golde, siluer, brasse, and iron, tinne, and lead,

23. అనగా అగ్నిచేత చెడని సమస్త వస్తువులనుమాత్రము అగ్నిలో వేసి తీయవలెను; అప్పుడు అవి పవిత్రమగును. అయితే పాపపరిహార జలముచేతను వాటిని పవిత్ర పరచవలెను. అగ్నిచేత చెడునట్టి ప్రతి వస్తువును నీళ్లలో వేసి తీయవలెను.

23. And all that may abide the fire, ye shal make it go through the fire, and it shalbe cleane: Neuerthelesse, it shalbe purified with water of seperation: And all that suffereth not the fire, ye shall make go through the water:

24. ఏడవ దినమున మీరు మీ బట్టలు ఉదుకుకొని పవిత్రులైన తరువాత పాళెములోనికి రావచ్చుననెను.

24. And washe your clothes the seuenth day, and ye shalbe cleane, and afterwarde come into the hoast.

25. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగుసెలవిచ్చెను.

25. And the Lorde spake vnto Moyses, saying:

26. నీవును యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరును సమాజముయొక్క పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ప్రధానులును మనుష్యులలో నేమి, పశువులలోనేమి, చెరపట్టబడిన దోపుడుసొమ్ము మొత్తమును లెక్కించి రెండు భాగములుగాచేసి

26. Take the summe of the pray that was taken, both of the persons and of cattell, thou and Eleazar the priest, and the chiefe fathers of the congregation:

27. యుద్ధ మునకు పూనుకొని సేనగా బయలుదేరినవారికి సగమును సర్వసమాజమునకు సగమును పంచిపెట్టవలెను.

27. And deuide the pray into two partes, betweene them that toke the warre vpon them and went out to battayle, and all the congregation.

28. మరియు సేనగా బయలు దేరిన యోధులమీద యెహోవాకు పన్ను కట్టి, ఆ మనుష్యులలోను పశువులలోను గాడిదలలోను గొఱ్ఱెమేకల లోను ఐదువందలకు ఒకటిచొప్పున వారి సగ ములోనుండి తీసికొని

28. And take a tribute vnto the Lorde of the men of warre which went out to battayle: one soule of fiue hundred, both of the persons, and of the beefes, and of the asses, and of the sheepe.

29. యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరుకు ఇయ్యవలెను.

29. And ye shall take it of their halfe, and geue it vnto Eleazar the priest, as an heaue offeryng of the Lorde.

30. మనుష్యుల లోను పశువులలోను గాడిదలలోను గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలోను సమస్తవిధముల జంతువులలోను ఏబదింటికి ఒకటిచొప్పున, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు సగములోనుండి తీసికొని యెహోవా మందిరమును కాపాడు లేవీయులకు ఇయ్యవలెను.

30. And of the halfe of the children of Israel, thou shalt take one portion of fiftie, of the persons, and of the beefes, of the asses, and of the sheepe, and of al maner of beastes, and geue them vnto the Leuites which wayte vpon the charge of the tabernacle of the Lorde.

31. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మోషేయు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరును చేసిరి.

31. And Moyses and Eleazar the priest, dyd as the Lorde comaunded Moyses.

32. ఆ దోపుడుసొమ్ము, అనగా ఆ సైనికులు కొల్లబెట్టిన సొమ్ములో మిగిలినది

32. And the bootie, and the rest of the pray which the men of warre had caught, was sixe hundred thousande, and three sore and fifteene thousande sheepe,

33. ఆరులక్షల డెబ్బదియయిదు గొఱ్ఱెమేకలును,

33. And three score and twelue thousande of beefes,

34. డెబ్బది రెండువేల పశువులును, అరువది యొక వేయి గాడిదలును,

34. And three score & one thousande asses,

35. ముప్పది రెండు వేలమంది పురుష సంయోగమెరుగని స్త్రీలును,

35. And thirtie & two thousande persons in all, of women that had lyen by no man.

36. అందులో అరవంతు, అనగా సైన్యముగా పోయినవారి వంతు, గొఱ్ఱెమేకల లెక్కయెంతనగా మూడు లక్షల ముప్పది యేడువేల ఐదువందలు. ఆ గొఱ్ఱెమేకలలో యెహోవాకు చెల్లవలసిన పన్ను ఆరువందల డెబ్బది యయిదు, ఆ పశువులు ముప్పదియారువేలు.

36. And the halfe, which was the part of them that went out to warre, was in number three hundred thousande, and seuen and thirtie thousande, & fiue hundred, sheepe.

37. వాటిలో యెహోవా పన్ను డెబ్బదిరెండు.

37. And the Lordes part of the sheepe, was sixe hundred & threescore & fifteene.

38. ఆ గాడిదలు ముప్పది వేల ఐదువందలు,

38. And the beefes were thirtie and sixe thousande, of which the Lordes part was threescore and twelue.

39. వాటిలో యెహోవా పన్ను అరువది యొకటి.

39. And the asses were thirtie thousande and fiue hundred, of which the Lordes part was threescore and one.

40. మనుష్యులు పదునారు వేలమంది. వారిలో యెహోవా పన్ను ముప్పది ఇద్దరు.

40. And the persons were sixteene thousande, of which the Lordes part was thirtie and two persons.

41. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మోషే పన్నును, అనగా యెహోవాకు చెల్లవలసిన ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరున కిచ్చెను.

41. And Moyses gaue the tribute, which was the Lordes heaue offeryng, vnto Eleazar the priest, as the Lorde commaunded Moyses:

42. సైనికులయొద్ద మోషే తీసికొని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కిచ్చిన సగమునుండి లేవీయుల కిచ్చెను.

42. And the other halfe of the children of Israel which Moyses deuided from the men of warre,

43. మూడులక్షల ముప్పదియేడువేల ఐదువందల గొఱ్ఱెమేకలును

43. [That is to wit] the halfe that pertayned vnto the congregation, was three hundred thousande, and thirtie & seuen thousande, and fiue hundred, sheepe:

44. ముప్పది ఆరువేల గోవులును ముప్పదివేల ఐదువందల గాడిదలును

44. And thirtie and sixe thousande beefes:

45. పదునారువేల మంది మనుష్యులును సమాజమునకు కలిగిన సగమైయుండగా, మోషే

45. And thirtie thousande asses, and fiue hundred:

46. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు వచ్చిన ఆ సగమునుండి మనుష్యులలోను జంతువులలోను

46. And sixteene thousande persons.

47. ఏబదింటికి ఒకటిచొప్పున తీసి, యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు యెహోవా మందిరమును కాపాడు లేవీయుల కిచ్చెను.

47. And Moyses toke of the halfe that pertayned vnto the children of Israel, one portion of fiftie, both of the persons and of the cattell, and gaue them vnto the Leuites which wayted vpon the charge of the tabernacle of the Lorde, as the Lorde commaundded Moyses.

48. అప్పుడు సేనా సహస్రముల నియామకులు, అనగా సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులును మోషే యొద్దకు వచ్చి

48. And the officers of thousandes of the hoast, ye captaynes ouer the thousandes, and the captaynes ouer the hundredes, came foorth,

49. నీ సేవకులమైన మేము మా చేతిక్రింద నున్న యోధులను లెక్కించి మొత్తము చేసితివిు; మాలో ఒక్కడైనను మొత్తమునకు తక్కువ కాలేదు.

49. And sayde vnto Moyses: Thy seruauntes haue taken the summe of the men of warre which are vnder our aucthoritie, and there lacketh not one man of vs:

50. కాబట్టి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మా నిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము కలుగునట్లు మేము మాలో ప్రతిమనుష్యునికి దొరికిన బంగారు నగలను గొలుసులను కడియములను ఉంగరములను పోగులను పతకములను యెహోవాకు అర్పణముగా తెచ్చియున్నామని చెప్పగా

50. We haue therfore brought a present vnto the Lord what euery man found, of iewels of golde, bracelets, chaynes, rynges, eare rynges, and spangles, to make an attonement for our soules before the Lorde.

51. మోషేయు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు నగలుగా చేయబడిన ఆ బంగారును వారియొద్ద తీసికొనిరి.

51. And Moyses and Eleazar the priest, toke the golde of them, all the wrought iewels.

52. సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులును ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణముగా యెహోవాకు అర్పించిన బంగార మంతయు పదునారువేల ఏడు వందల ఏబది తులములు.

52. And all the golde of the heaue offering that they heaued vp to the Lorde, of the captaynes ouer thousandes & hundredes, was sixteene thousande, seuen hundred and fiftie sicles.

53. ఆ సైనికులలో ప్రతివాడును తన మట్టుకు తాను కొల్ల సొమ్ము తెచ్చుకొనియుండెను.

53. (For the men of warre had spoyled, euery man for hym selfe.)

54. అప్పుడు మోషేయు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరును సహస్రాధిపతులయొద్ద నుండియు శతాధిపతుల యొద్దనుండియు ఆ బంగారును తీసికొని యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు జ్ఞాపకార్థముగా ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారమున ఉంచిరి.

54. And Moyses and Eleazar the priest toke the golde of the captaynes ouer the thousandes & hundredes, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memoriall of the children of Israel before the Lorde.
