1. రూబేనీయులకును గాదీయులకును అతివిస్తారమైన మందలుండెను గనుక యాజెరు ప్రదేశమును గిలాదు ప్రదేశమును మందలకు తగిన స్థలమని తెలిసికొని

1. The children of Ruben and the children of Gad had an exceadinge greate multitude of catell, and sawe the londe of Iaeser and Gilead yt it was a mete place for catell,

2. వారు వచ్చి మోషేను యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరును సమాజ ప్రధానులతొ

2. and came & spake vnto Moses and to Eleasar the prest, and to the captaynes of the congregacion:

3. అతారోతు దీబోను యాజెరు నిమ్రా హెష్బోను ఏలాలే షెబాము నెబో బెయోను అను స్థలములు, అనగా

3. The londe of Atroth, Dibon, Iaesar, Nimra, He?bo, Eleale, Seban, Nebo, & Beon,

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజము ఎదుట యెహోవా జయించిన దేశము మందలకు తగిన ప్రదేశము. నీ సేవకులమైన మాకు మందలు కలవు.

4. which the LORDE smote before ye congregacion of Israel, is a mete londe for catell, and thy seruauntes haue many catell.

5. కాబట్టి మా యెడల నీకు కటాక్షము కలిగినయెడల, మమ్మును యొర్దాను అద్దరికి దాటింపక నీ దాసులమైన మాకు ఈ దేశమును స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇమ్మనగా

5. And they sayde morouer: Yf we haue founde fauoure before the, the geue thy seruauntes this londe in possession, and we wyl not go ouer Iordane.

6. మోషే గాదీయులతోను రూబే నీయులతోను మీ సహోదరులు యుద్ధమునకు పోవు చుండగా మీరు ఇక్కడ కూర్చుండవచ్చునా?

6. Moses sayde vnto them: Youre brethren shall go to the warre, and wyll ye tary here?

7. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకిచ్చిన దేశమునకు వారు వెళ్లకయుండునట్లు మీరేల వారి హృదయములను అధైర్య పరచుదురు?

7. Wherfore turne ye ye hertes of the children of Israel, that they shulde not go ouer in to the londe that the LORDE shall geue them?

8. ఆ దేశమును చూచుటకు కాదేషు బర్నే యలోనుండి మీ తండ్రులను నేను పంపినప్పుడు వారును ఆలాగు చేసిరిగదా

8. Thus dyd youre fathers also, whan I sent them out from Cades Bernea, to spye out ye londe.

9. వారు ఎష్కోలు లోయలోనికి వెళ్లి ఆ దేశమును చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల హృదయమును అధైర్యపరచిరి గనుక యెహోవా తమకిచ్చిన దేశమునకు వారు వెళ్లక పోయిరి.

9. And whan they were come vp to ye ryuer of Escol, and sawe ye londe, they turned the hertes of the children of Israel, so yt they wolde not into the londe which ye LORDE wolde haue geuen them.

10. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా కోపము రగులుకొని

10. And the LORDE was wroth at the same tyme, & sware, & sayde:

11. ఇరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి ఐగుప్తుదేశములోనుండి వచ్చిన మనుష్యులలో పూర్ణ మనస్సుతో యెహోవాను అనుసరించిన కెనెజీయుడగు యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబును నూనుకుమారుడైన యెహోషువయు తప్ప

11. These men yt are come out of Egipte, from twetye yeare olde & aboue, shall not se the lande which I sware vnto Abraham, Isaac and Iacob, because they haue not wholy folowed me:

12. మరి ఎవడును పూర్ణమనస్సుతో నన్ను అనుసరింపలేదు గనుక నేను అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులకు ప్రమాణపూర్వకముగా నిచ్చిన దేశమును వారు తప్ప మరి ఎవరును చూడనే చూడరని ప్రమాణము చేసెను.

12. saue Caleb ye sonne of Iephune ye Kenisite, & Iosua ye sonne of Nun: for they haue wholy folowed ye LORDE.

13. అప్పుడు యెహోవా కోపము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద రగులుకొనగా యెహోవా దృష్ఠికి చెడునడత నడిచిన ఆ తరమువారందరు నశించువరకు అరణ్యములో నలుబది ఏండ్లు ఆయన వారిని తిరుగులాడచేసెను.

13. So the LORDE was wroth wt Israel, & let the wander in the wildernesse fourtye yeares, tyll all ye generacion yt had done euell before the LORDE, was consumed.

14. ఇప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయెడల యెహోవాకు కోపము మరి ఎక్కువగా పుట్టించునట్లుగా ఆ పాపుల సంతాన మైన మీరు మీ తండ్రులకు ప్రతిగా బయలుదేరి యున్నారు.

14. And beholde, ye are rysen vp in youre fathers steade, to increase the nombre of synfull men, & to augmente yet the wrath & indignacion of the LORDE agaynst Israel.

15. మీరు ఆయనను అనుసరింపక వెనుకకు మళ్లినయెడల ఆయన ఈ అరణ్యములో జనులను ఇంక నిలువ చేయును. అట్లు మీరు ఈ సర్వజనమును నశింప చేసెదరనెను.

15. For yf ye turne you backe from folowinge him, he shal yet leaue them more in the wildernes, & so shal ye destroye all this people.

16. అందుకు వారు అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చి మేము ఇక్కడ మా మందలకొరకు దొడ్లను మా పిల్లల కొరకు పురములను కట్టుకొందుము.

16. Then stepte they to him, & sayde: we wyll but buylde shepefoldes here for oure shepe & catell, & cities for or children:

17. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను వారివారి స్థలములకు చేర్చువరకు మేము వారి ముందర యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధపడి సాగుదుము. అయితే మా పిల్లలు ఈ దేశనివాసుల భయముచేత ప్రాకారముగల పురములలో నివసింపవలెను.

17. As for oure selues, we will go ready armed before the children of Israel, tyll we haue broughte them vnto their place: Oure childre shal remayne in the fenced cities, because of ye indwellers of the londe.

18. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ప్రతివాడును తన తన స్వాస్థ్యమును పొందువరకు మా యిండ్లకు తిరిగి రాము.

18. We will not turne home agayne, tyll the children of Israel haue taken euery one his inheritaunce in possession:

19. తూర్పుదిక్కున యొర్దాను ఇవతల మాకు స్వాస్థ్యము దొరికెను గనుక యొర్దాను అవతల దూరముగా వారితో స్వాస్థ్యము పొందమనిరి.

19. for we wyll not inheret with them beyonde Iordane: for or inheritaunce shal fall vnto vs vpon this syde Iordane Eastwarde.

20. అప్పుడు మోషే వారితోమీరు మీ మాటమీద నిలిచి యెహోవా సన్నిధిని యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధపడి యెహోవా తన యెదుటనుండి తన శత్రువులను వెళ్ల గొట్టువరకు

20. Moses sayde vnto them: Yf ye wil do this, that ye wil harnesse youre selues to the warre before the LORDE,

21. యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మీరందరు యుద్ధ సన్నద్ధులై యొర్దాను అవతలికి వెళ్లినయెడల

21. then go ouer Iordane before the LORDE, who so euer is harnessed amonge you, tyll he haue dryuen out his enemies before his face,

22. ఆ దేశము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని జయింపబడిన తరువాత మీరు తిరిగి వచ్చి యెహోవా దృష్టికిని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దృష్టికిని నిర్దోషులై యుందురు; అప్పుడు ఈ దేశము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మీకు స్వాస్థ్యమగును.

22. and vntyll the londe be subdued before the LORDE, then shal ye returne, & be vngiltye before the LORDE, and before Israel, & so shal ye haue this londe in possession before the LORDE.

23. మీరు అట్లు చేయని యెడల యెహోవా దృష్టికి పాపముచేసిన వారగుదురు గనుక మీ పాపము మిమ్మును పట్టుకొనును అని తెలిసి కొనుడి.

23. But if ye will not do so, beholde, ye shal offende agaynst the LORDE, and be sure, that youre synne shal fynde you out.

24. మీరు మీ పిల్లలకొరకు పురములను మీ మందల కొరకు దొడ్లను కట్టుకొని మీ నోటనుండి వచ్చిన మాట చొప్పున చేయుడనెను.

24. Buylde cities now therfore for youre children, and shepefoldes and stalles for youre shepe and catell, and do as ye haue spoken.

25. అందుకు గాదీయులును రూబే నీయులును మోషేతో మా యేలినవాడు ఆజ్ఞాపించి నట్లు నీ దాసులమైన మేము చేసెదము.

25. The childre of Gad, & the childre of Ruben sayde vnto Moses: Thy seruauntes shal do as my lorde hath comaunded.

26. మా పిల్లలు మా భార్యలు మా మందలు మా సమస్త పశువులు అక్కడ గిలాదు పురములలో ఉండును.

26. Oure children, wyues, substaunce, & all or catell, shal be in ye cities of Gilead.

27. నీ దాసులమైన మేము, అనగా మా సేనలో ప్రతి యోధుడును మా యేలినవాడు చెప్పినట్లు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని యుద్ధము చేయుటకు యొర్దాను అవతలికివచ్చెదమనిరి.

27. But we yi seruauntes will go all harnessed for the warre vnto battaill before ye LORDE, as my lorde hath saide.

28. కాబట్టి మోషే వారినిగూర్చి యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు కును, నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువకును, ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల గోత్రములలో పితరుల కుటుంబ ముల ప్రధానులకును ఆజ్ఞాపించి వారితో ఇట్లనెను

28. The Moses comaunded Eleasar ye prest & Iosua the sonne of Nun, & the chefe fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,

29. గాదీయులును రూబే నీయులును అందరు యెహో వా సన్నిధిని యుద్ధమునకు సిద్దపడి మీతో కూడ యొర్దాను అవతలికి వెళ్లినయెడల ఆ దేశము మీచేత జయింపబడిన తరువాత మీరు గిలాదు దేశమును వారికి స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇయ్యవలెను.

29. and saide vnto them: Yf the children of Gad & the children of Ruben go ouer Iordane wt you, all prepared to fight before the LORDE, & whan the londe is subdued vnto you, the geue them the londe of Gilead in possessio.

30. అయితే వారు మీతో కలిసి యోధులై ఆవలికి వెళ్లనియెడల వారు కనాను దేశమందే మీ మధ్యను స్వాస్థ్యములను పొందు దురనగా

30. But yf they go not ouer with you in harnes, then shal they inheret wt you in ye lode of Canaa.

31. గాదీయులును రూబేనీయులునుయెహోవా నీ దాసులమైన మాతో చెప్పినట్లే చేసెదము.

31. The children of Gad and the children of Rube answered, & sayde: As ye LORDE hath spoken vnto yi seruauntes, so wyll we do:

32. మేము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని యుద్ధసన్నద్ధులమై నది దాటి కనానుదేశములోనికి వెళ్లెదము. అప్పుడు యొర్దాను ఇవతల మేము స్వాస్థ్యమును పొందెదమని ఉత్తర మిచ్చిరి.

32. we wil go harnessed before the LORDE in to ye lade of Canaan, and possesse oure enheritaunce on this syde Iordane.

33. అప్పుడు మోషే వారికి, అనగా గాదీయులకును రూబే నీయులకును యోసేపు కుమారుడైన మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారికిని, అమోరీయుల రాజైన సీహోను రాజ్యమును, బాషాను రాజైన ఓగు రాజ్యమును, దాని ప్రాంతపురములతో ఆ దేశమును చట్టునుండు ఆ దేశపురములను ఇచ్చెను.

33. So Moses gaue vnto ye children of Gad and to the children of Ruben, and to the halfe trybe of Manasse the sonne of Ioseph, ye kyngdome of Sihon kynge of the Amorites and the kyngdome of Og the kynge of Basan, the londe with the cities therof in all ye coastes of ye countre rounde aboute.

34. గాదీయులు దీబోను అతారోతు అరోయేరు అత్రోతు షోపాను

34. The ye children of Gad buylded Dibon, Araroth, Aroer, Atroth,

35. యాజెరు యొగ్బెహ బేత్నిమ్రా బేత్హారాను

35. Sophan, Iaeser, & Iegabeha,

36. అను ప్రాకారములుగల పురములను మందల దొడ్లను కట్టు కొనిరి.

36. Bethnimra, & Betharan, stronge fenced cities, & shepe foldes.

37. రూబేనీయులు మారుపేరుపొందిన హెష్బోను ఏలాలే కిర్యతాయిము నెబో బయల్మెయోను

37. The children of Ruben buylded He?bo, Eleale, Kiriathaim,

38. షిబ్మా అను పురములను కట్టి, తాము కట్టిన ఆ పురములకు వేరు పేరులు పెట్టిరి.

38. Nebo, Baal Meon, & turned ye names, & Sibamas & gaue names vnto ye cities which they buylded.

39. మనష్షే కుమారులైన మాకీరీయులు గిలాదుమీదికి పోయి దాని పట్టుకొని దానిలోనున్న అమోరీయులను వెళ్లగొట్టిరి.

39. And ye children of Machir the sonne of Manasse wente in to Gilead, & conquered it, and droue out the Amorites yt were therin.

40. మోషే మనష్షే కుమారు డైన మాకీరుకు గిలాదునిచ్చెను

40. Then Moses gaue Gilead vnto Machir ye sonne of Manasse, & he dwelt therin.

41. అతడు అక్కడ నివ సించెను. మనష్షే కుమారుడైన యాయీరు వెళ్లి వారి పల్లెలను పట్టుకొని వాటికి యాయీరు పల్లెలను పేరు పెట్టెను.

41. Iair ye sonne of Manasse, wente and conquered the vyllagies therof, and called them Hauoth Iair.

42. నోబహు వెళ్లి కెనాతును దాని గ్రామము లను పట్టుకొని దానికి నోబహు అని తన పేరు పెట్టెను.

42. Nobah wente, and coquered Kenath, with the townes belonginge therto, and called it Nobah, after his awne name.
