1. ఆయన ఆ కొండమీదనుండి దిగి వచ్చినప్పుడు బహు జనసమూహములు ఆయనను వెంబడించెను.

1. When He had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed Him.

2. ఇదిగో కుష్ఠరోగి వచ్చి ఆయనకు మ్రొక్కిప్రభువా, నీకిష్టమైతే నన్ను శుద్ధునిగా చేయగలవనెను.

2. And behold, a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."

3. అందుకాయన చెయ్యి చాపి వాని ముట్టి నాకిష్టమే, నీవు శుద్ధుడవు కమ్మని చెప్పగా తక్షణమే వాని కుష్టరోగము శుద్ధి యాయెను.

3. And reaching out His hand, Jesus touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

4. అప్పుడు యేసు ఎవరితోను ఏమియు చెప్పకు సుమీ; కాని నీవు వెళ్ళి వారికి సాక్ష్యార్థమై నీ దేహమును యాజకునికి కనబరచుకొని, మోషే నియమించిన కానుక సమర్పించుమని వానితో చెప్పెను

4. And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."

5. ఆయన కపెర్నహూములో ప్రవేశించినప్పుడు ఒక శతాధిపతి ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చి

5. Now when He had entered Capernaum, a centurion approached Him, begging Him,

6. ప్రభువా, నా దాసుడు పక్షవాయువుతో మిగుల బాధపడుచు ఇంటిలో పడియున్నాడని చెప్పి, ఆయనను వేడుకొనెను.

6. and saying, "Lord, my servant has been laid up in the house a paralytic, being tormented terribly."

7. యేసు నేను వచ్చి వాని స్వస్థపరచెదనని అతనితో చెప్పగా

7. And Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."

8. ఆ శతాధిపతిప్రభువా, నీవు నా యింటిలోనికి వచ్చుటకు నేను పాత్రుడను కాను; నీవు మాటమాత్రము సెలవిమ్ము, అప్పుడు నా దాసుడు స్వస్థపరచబడును.

8. The centurion answered and said, "Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But just say the word and my servant will be healed.

9. నేను కూడ అధికారమునకు లోబడినవాడను; నా చేతిక్రింద సైనికులున్నారు; నేను ఒకని పొమ్మంటే పోవును, ఒకని రమ్మంటే వచ్చును, నా దాసుని ఈ పని చేయుమంటే చేయును అని యుత్తరమిచ్చెను.

9. For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this [one], 'Go,' and he goes; and to another, 'Come,' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."

10. యేసు ఈ మాట విని ఆశ్చర్యపడి, వెంట వచ్చుచున్నవారిని చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలులో నెవనికైనను నేనింత విశ్వాసమున్నట్టు చూడ లేదని నిశ్చయముగా మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాను.

10. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who were following, "Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!

11. And I say to you that many shall come from east and west, and recline [to eat] with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;

12. రాజ్య సంబంధులు వెలుపటి చీకటిలోనికి త్రోయబడుదురు; అక్కడ ఏడ్పును పండ్లు కొరుకుటయు నుండునని మీతో చెప్పుచున్నాననెను.

12. but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

13. అంతట యేసుఇక వెళ్ళుము; నీవు విశ్వసించిన ప్రకారము నీకు అవునుగాకని శతాధిపతితో చెప్పెను. ఆ గడియలోనే అతనిదాసుడు స్వస్థతనొందెను.

13. Then Jesus said to the centurion, "Go; and as you believed, may it be unto you." And his servant was healed that same hour.

14. తరువాత యేసు పేతురింటిలో ప్రవేశించి, జ్వరముతో పడియున్న అతని అత్తను చూచి

14. Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his wife's mother having been laid up, and burning with fever.

15. ఆమె చెయ్యిముట్టగా జ్వరమామెను విడిచెను; అంతట ఆమె లేచి ఆయనకు ఉపచారము చేయసాగెను.

15. And He touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she got up, and began to serve Him.

16. సాయంకాలమైనప్పుడు జనులు దయ్యములు పట్టిన అనేకులను ఆయనయొద్దకు తీసికొని వచ్చిరి.

16. When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and He healed all that were ill,

17. ఆయన మాటవలన దయ్యములను వెళ్ళ గొట్టి రోగులనెల్లను స్వస్థపరచెను. అందువలన ఆయనే మన బలహీనతలను వహించుకొని మన రోగములను భరించెనని ప్రవక్తయైన యెషయాద్వార చెప్పబడినది నెరవేరెను.

17. so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: "He Himself took our infirmities, and bore our diseases."

18. యేసు తన యొద్దనున్న జనసమూహమును చూచి అద్దరికి వెళ్ళవలెనని ఆజ్ఞాపించెను.

18. And when Jesus saw great crowds around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side.

19. అంతట ఒక శాస్త్రి వచ్చిబోధకుడా నీ వెక్కడికి వెళ్ళినను నీ వెంటవచ్చెద నని ఆయనతో చెప్పెను.

19. Then a certain scribe approached, and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."

20. అందుకు యేసునక్కలకు బొరియలును ఆకాశపక్షులకు నివాసములును కలవు గాని మనుష్యకుమారునికి తలవాల్చుకొనుటకైనను స్థలములేదని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

20. And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."

21. శిష్యులలో మరియొకడు ప్రభువా, నేను మొదట వెళ్ళి, నా తండ్రిని పాతిపెట్టుటకు నాకు సెలవిమ్మని ఆయనను అడుగగా

21. Then another of His disciples said to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."

22. యేసు అతని చూచినన్ను వెంబడించుము; మృతులు తమ మృతులను పాతి పెట్టుకొననిమ్మని చెప్పెను.

22. But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead."

23. ఆయన దోనె యెక్కినప్పుడు ఆయన శిష్యులు ఆయన వెంట వెళ్లిరి.

23. Now when He got into a boat, His disciples followed Him.

24. అంతట సముద్రముమీద తుపాను లేచి నందున ఆ దోనె అలలచేత కప్పబడెను. అప్పుడాయన నిద్రించుచుండగా

24. And behold, a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered by waves; but He was sleeping.

25. వారు ఆయన యొద్దకు వచ్చి ప్రభువా, నశించిపోవుచున్నాము, మమ్మును రక్షించుమని చెప్పి ఆయనను లేపిరి.

25. Then the disciples came and awoke Him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!"

26. అందుకాయన అల్పవిశ్వాసులారా, యెందుకు భయపడుచున్నారని వారితో చెప్పి, లేచి గాలిని సముద్రమును గద్దింపగా మిక్కిలి నిమ్మళ మాయెను.

26. But He said to them, "Why are you fearful, O [you] of little faith?" Then having risen, He rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

27. ఆ మనుష్యులు ఆశ్చర్యపడి ఈయన ఎట్టి వాడో; ఈయనకు గాలియు సముద్రమును లోబడుచున్నవని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

27. So the men marveled, saying, "What kind [of Man] is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

28. ఆయన అద్దరినున్న గదరేనీయుల దేశము చేరగా దయ్యములు పట్టిన యిద్దరు మనుష్యులు సమాధులలో నుండి బయలుదేరి ఆయనకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చిరి. వారు మిగుల ఉగ్రులైనందున ఎవడును ఆ మార్గమున వెళ్లలేక పోయెను.

28. And when He came to the other side, to the region of the Gergesenes, [there] met Him two demon-possessed [men], coming out of the tombs, very violent, so that no one was able to pass by that way.

29. వారు ఇదిగో దేవుని కుమారుడా, నీతో మాకేమి? కాలము రాకమునుపే మమ్మును బాధించుటకు ఇక్కడికి వచ్చితివా? అని కేకలువేసిరి.

29. And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

30. వారికి దూరమున గొప్ప పందుల మంద మేయుచుండగా

30. Now there was far off from them a herd of many swine feeding.

31. ఆ దయ్యములు నీవు మమ్మును వెళ్ల గొట్టినయెడల ఆ పందుల మందలోనికి పోనిమ్మని ఆయనను వేడుకొనెను.

31. So the demons implored Him, saying, "If You cast us out, permit us to go off into the herd of swine."

32. ఆయన వాటిని పొమ్మనగా అవి ఆ మనుష్యులను వదలిపెట్టి ఆ పందుల లోనికి పోయెను; ఇదిగో ఆ మందంతయు ప్రపాతము నుండి సముద్రములోనికి వడిగా పరుగెత్తికొనిపోయి నీళ్లలో పడిచచ్చెను.

32. And He said to them, "Go." So they came out, and went off into the herd of swine. And behold, the whole herd of swine rushed violently down the steep bank into the sea, and died in the waters.

33. వాటిని మేపుచున్నవారు పారిపోయి పట్టణములోనికి వెళ్లి జరిగిన కార్యములన్నియు దయ్యములు పట్టినవారి సంగతియు తెలిపిరి.

33. Then those who tended them fled; and going off into the city, they reported everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed [men].

34. ఇదిగో ఆ పట్టణస్థులందరు యేసును ఎదుర్కొనవచ్చి ఆయనను చూచి తమ ప్రాంతములను విడిచి పొమ్మని ఆయనను వేడుకొనిరి.

34. And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus. And seeing Him, they implored Him that He might go away from their region.
