1. ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో ఇట్లనెను అభ్యంతరములు రాకపోవుట అసాధ్యముకాని అవి ఎవనివలన వచ్చునో వానికి శ్రమ.

1. Then said he to his(the) disciples, it cannot be avoided, but that occasions of evil(offenses will) come. Nevertheless woe be to him thorow whom they come.

2. వాడీ చిన్నవారిలో ఒకనికి అభ్యంతరము కలుగజేయుటకంటె వాని మెడకు తిరు గటిరాయి కట్టబడి సముద్రములో పడద్రోయబడుట వానికి మేలు.

2. It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were cast into the sea, rather than (that) he should offend one of these little ones.

3. మీ విషయమై మీరే జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండుడి. నీ సహోదరుడు తప్పిదము చేసినయెడల అతని గద్దించుము; అతడు మారుమనస్సు పొందిన యెడల అతని క్షమించుము.

3. Take heed to your selves, if thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him: and if he repent,(amend) forgive him.

4. అతడు ఒక దినమున ఏడుమారులు నీయెడల తప్పిదము చేసి యేడు మారులు నీవైపుతిరిగిమారుమనస్సు పొందితి ననినయెడల అతని క్షమింపవలెననెను.

4. And though he sin against thee seven times in one(a) day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee saying: it repenteth me, forgive him.

5. అపొస్తలులుమా విశ్వాసము వృద్ధిపొందించుమని ప్రభువుతో చెప్పగా

5. And the apostles said unto the Lord: increase our faith.

6. ప్రభువు మీరు ఆవగింజంత విశ్వాసము గలవారైతే ఈ కంబళిచెట్టును చూచినీవు వేళ్లతోకూడ పెల్లగింపబడి సముద్రములో నాటబడుమని చెప్పునప్పుడు అది మీకు లోబడును.

6. (And) The Lord said: if ye had faith like a grain of mustard seed, and should say unto this sycamine(mulberry) tree, pluck thyself up by the roots, and plant thyself in the sea: he should obey you.

7. దున్నువాడు గాని మేపువాడు గాని మీలో ఎవనికైన ఒక దాసుడుండగా, వాడు పొలములోనుండి వచ్చి నప్పుడునీవు ఇప్పడే వెళ్లి భోజనము చేయుమని వానితో చెప్పునా? చెప్పడు.

7. Which(Who is it) of you having(if he had) a servant a plowing, or feeding cattle, (that) would say unto him when he were come from the field: Go quickly and sit down to meat.

8. అంతేకాకనేను భోజనము చేయుటకు ఏమైనను సిద్ధ పరచి, నడుము కట్టుకొని నేను అన్నపానములు పుచ్చు కొనువరకు నాకు పరిచారము చేయుము; అటుతరువాత నీవు అన్నపానములు పుచ్చుకొనవచ్చునని వానితో చెప్పును గాని

8. And rather sayeth not(would not rather say) to him, dress wherewith I may sup, and appoint(gird up) thyself and serve me, till I have eaten and drunk: and afterward, eat thou, and drink thou?

9. ఆ దాసుడు ఆజ్ఞాపింపబడిన పనులు చేసినందుకు వాడు దయచూపెనని వానిని మెచ్చునా?

9. Doeth he thank that servant because he did that which was commanded unto him? I trow not.

10. అటువలె మీరును మీకు ఆజ్ఞాపింపబడినవన్నియు చేసిన తరువాతమేము నిష్‌ప్రయోజకులమైన దాసులము, మేము చేయవలసినవే చేసియున్నామని చెప్పుడనెను.

10. So likewise ye, when ye have done all those things which are commanded unto you: say, we are unprofitable servants. We have done that which was our duty to do.

11. ఆయన యెరూషలేమునకు ప్రయాణమై పోవుచు సమరయ గలిలయల మధ్యగా వెళ్లుచుండెను.

11. And it chanced as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed thorow Samaria and Galilee.

12. ఆయన యొక గ్రామములోనికి వెళ్లుచుండగా పది మంది కుష్ఠ రోగులు ఆయనకు ఎదురుగా వచ్చి దూరమున నిలిచి

12. And as he entered into a certain town, there met him ten men, that were lepers, which stood afar off,

13. యేసు ప్రభువా, మమ్ము కరుణించుమని కేకలు వేసిరి.

13. and put forth their voices, and said: Jesu master, have mercy on us.

14. ఆయన వారిని చూచిమీరు వెళ్లి, మిమ్మును యాజకులకు కనుపరచుకొనుడని వారితో చెప్పెను. వారు వెళ్లుచుండగా, శుద్ధులైరి.

14. When he saw them, he said unto them: Go and shew yourselves to the priests. And it chanced as they went, they were cleansed.

15. వారిలో ఒకడు తనకు స్వస్థత కలుగుట చూచి

15. And one of them, when he saw that he was cleansed, turned back again, and with a loud voice praised God,

16. గొప్ప శబ్దముతో దేవుని మహిమపరచుచు, తిరిగి వచ్చి ఆయనకు కృతజ్ఞతాస్తుతులు చెల్లించుచు, ఆయన పాదములయొద్ద సాగిలపడెను; వాడు సమరయుడు.

16. and fell down on his face at his feet, and gave him thanks. And the same was a Samaritan.

17. అందుకు యేసుపదిమంది శుద్ధులైరి కారా; ఆ తొమ్మండుగురు ఎక్కడ?

17. (And) Jesus answered and said: Are there not ten cleansed? But where are those nine?

18. ఈ అన్యుడు తప్ప దేవుని మహిమపరచుటకు తిరిగి వచ్చినవాడెవడును అగపడలేదా అని చెప్పి

18. There are not found that returned again, to give God praise, save only this stranger.

19. నీవు లేచిపొమ్ము, నీ విశ్వా సము నిన్ను స్వస్థపరచెనని వానితో చెప్పెను.

19. And he said unto him: Arise, and go thy way, thy faith hath saved thee.(made thee whole.)

20. దేవుని రాజ్యమెప్పుడు వచ్చునని పరిసయ్యులు ఆయన నడిగినప్పుడు ఆయనదేవుని రాజ్యము ప్రత్యక్షముగా రాదు.

20. When he was demanded of the pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come: he answered them and said: The kingdom of God cometh not with waiting for.(outward appearance)

21. ఎందుకనగా ఇదిగో దేవుని రాజ్యము మీ మధ్యనే యున్నది గనుక, ఇదిగో యిక్కడనని, అదిగో అక్కడనని చెప్ప వీలుపడదని వారికి ఉత్తరమిచ్చెను.

21. Neither shall men say: Lo here, lo there. For behold, the kingdom of God is within(inward in) you.

22. మరియు ఆయన తన శిష్యులతో ఇట్లనెను మనుష్య కుమారుని దినములలో ఒకదినము చూడవలెనని మీరు కోరు దినములు వచ్చునుగాని మీరు ఆ దినమును చూడరు.

22. And he said unto the disciples: The days will(time shall) come, when ye shall desire to see one day of the son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23. వారుఇదిగో యిక్కడనని అదిగో అక్కడనని మీతో చెప్పినయెడల వెళ్లకుడి, వెంబడింపకుడి.

23. And they shall say to you: See here; See there. Go not after them, nor follow them,

24. ఆకాశము క్రింద ఒక దిక్కునుండి మెరుపుమెరిసి, ఆకాశముక్రింద మరియొక దిక్కున కేలాగు ప్రకాశించునో ఆలాగున మనుష్యకుమారుడు తన దినమున ఉండును.

24. for as the lightning that appeareth out of the one part of the heaven, and shineth unto the other part of heaven.(lightening shineth above from the heaven, and lighteth over all that is under the heaven,) So shall the son of man be in his days.

25. అయితే ముందుగా ఆయన అనేక హింసలు పొంది యీ తరము వారిచేత ఉపేక్షింపబడవలెను.

25. But first must he suffer many things, and be reproved(refused) of this nation.

26. నోవహు దినములలో జరిగినట్టు మనుష్యకుమారుని దినములలోను జరుగును.
ఆదికాండము 6:5-12

26. As it happened(came to pass) in the time of Noe So shall it be in the time of the son of man.

27. నోవహు ఓడలోనికి వెళ్లిన దినమువరకు జనులు తినుచు త్రాగుచు పెండ్లాడుచు పెండ్లి కియ్యబడుచు నుండిరి; అంతలో జలప్రళయము వచ్చి వారినందరిని నాశనముచేసెను.

27. They ate, they drank, they married wives and were married even unto the same day that Noe went into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28. లోతు దినములలో జరిగి నట్టును జరుగును. జనులు తినుచు త్రాగుచు కొనుచు అమ్ముచు నారు నాటుచు ఇండ్లు కట్టుచు నుండిరి.

28. Likewise also, as it chanced(came to pass) in the days of Lot. They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built.

29. అయితే లోతు సొదొమ విడిచిపోయిన దినమున ఆకాశము నుండి అగ్ని గంధకములు కురిసి వారినందరిని నాశనము చేసెను.

29. And even the same day that Lot went out of Zodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30. ఆ ప్రకారమే మనుష్యకుమారుడు ప్రత్యక్షమగు దినమున జరుగును.

30. After these ensamples, shall the day be,(it be in the day)(After this manner also shall it go) when the son of man shall appear.

31. ఆ దినమున మిద్దెమీద ఉండు వాడు ఇంట ఉండు తన సామగ్రిని తీసికొనిపోవుటకు దిగ కూడదు; ఆలాగే పొలములో ఉండువాడును తిరిగి రాకూడదు.

31. At that day he that is on the house top,(roof) and his stuff in the house: let him not come down to take it out. And likewise let not him that is in the fields, turn back again to that he left behind.

32. Remember Lot's wife.

33. తన ప్రాణమును రక్షించుకొనగోరువాడు దానిని పోగొట్టుకొనును, దాని పోగొట్టుకొనువాడు దానిని సజీవముగా కాపాడుకొనును.

33. Whosoever will go about to save his life, shall lose it: And whosoever shall lose his life, shall quicken(save) it.

34. ఆ రాత్రి యిద్దరొక్క మంచముమీద ఉందురు; వారిలో ఒకరు కొనిపోబడును ఒకరు విడిచిపెట్టబడును.

34. I tell you: In that night, there shall be two in one bed, the(that) one shall be received, and the other shall be forsaken.

35. ఇద్దరు స్త్రీలు ఒక్క తిరుగలి విసరుచుందురు; ఒకతె కొనిపోబడును ఒకతె విడిచిపెట్ట బడుననెను.

35. Two shall be also a grinding together: the one shall be received, and the other forsaken.

36. శిష్యులు ప్రభువా, యిది ఎక్కడ (జరుగు) నని ఆయన నడిగినందుకు

36. Two in the field, the one shall be received, and the other forsaken.

37. ఆయన పీనుగు ఎక్కడ ఉన్నదో అక్కడ గద్దలును పోగవునని వారితో చెప్పెను.

37. And they answered, and said to him: where Lord? And he said unto them: wheresoever The body shall be, thither will the eagles resort.(Where so ever the dead carcase is there will the Aegles be gathered together)
