1. అటు తరువాత యూదులు ఆయనను చంప వెదకి నందున యేసు యూదయలో సంచరించనొల్లక గలిలయలో సంచరించుచుండెను.

1. After these thynges, Iesus went about in Galilee: For he would not go about in Iurie, because that the Iewes sought to kyll hym.

2. The Iewes feaste of tabernacles was at hande.

3. ఆయన సహోదరులు ఆయనను చూచినీవు చేయుచున్న క్రియలు నీ శిష్యులును చూచునట్లు ఈ స్థలము విడిచి యూదయకు వెళ్లుము.

3. His brethren therfore sayde vnto him: Get thee hence, and go into Iurie, that thy disciples also may see thy workes that thou doest.

4. బహిరంగమున అంగీకరింపబడ గోరువాడెవడును తన పని రహస్యమున జరిగింపడు. నీవు ఈ కార్యములు చేయుచున్నయెడల నిన్ను నీవే లోకమునకు కనబరచుకొనుమని చెప్పిరి.

4. For there is no man that doeth any thyng in secrete, and he hym selfe seketh to be knowen openly. Yf thou do suche thynges, shewe thy selfe to the worlde.

5. ఆయన సహోదరులైనను ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచలేదు.

5. For his brethren beleued not in hym.

6. యేసు నా సమయ మింకను రాలేదు; మీ సమయమెల్లప్పుడును సిద్ధముగానే యున్నది.

6. Then Iesus sayde vnto them, My tyme is not yet come: but your tyme is alway redy.

7. లోకము మిమ్మును ద్వేషింపనేరదుగాని, దాని క్రియలు చెడ్డవని నేను దానినిగూర్చి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చు చున్నాను గనుక అది నన్ను ద్వేషించుచున్నది.

7. The worlde can not hate you, but me it hateth, because I testifie of it, that the workes therof are euyll.

8. మీరు పండుగకు వెళ్లుడి; నా సమయమింకను పరిపూర్ణము కాలేదు గనుక నేను ఈ పండుగకు ఇప్పుడే వెళ్లనని వారితో చెప్పెను.

8. Go ye vp vnto this feast: I wyll not go vp yet vnto this feast, for my tyme is not yet full come.

9. ఆయన వారితో ఈలాగున చెప్పి గలిలయలో నిలిచిపోయెను.

9. When he had saide these wordes vnto them, he abode styll in Galilee.

10. అయితే ఆయన సహోదరులు పండుగకు వెళ్లిపోయిన తరువాత ఆయనకూడ బహిరంగముగా వెళ్లక రహస్యముగా వెళ్లెను.

10. But assoone as his brethre were gone vp, then went he also vp vnto the feaste, not openly, but as it were priuilie.

11. పండుగలో యూదులు ఆయన ఎక్కడనని ఆయనను వెదకుచుండిరి.

11. Then sought hym the Iewes at the feaste, and sayde, where is he?

12. మరియు జనసమూహములలో ఆయననుగూర్చి గొప్ప సణుగు పుట్టెను; కొందరాయన మంచివాడనిరి; మరికొందరుకాడు, ఆయన జనులను మోసపుచ్చువాడనిరి;

12. And much murmuryng of hym was there among the people: For some said, he is good: other sayde, nay, but he deceaueth the people.

13. అయితే యూదులకు భయపడి ఆయనను గూర్చి యెవడును బహిరంగముగా మాటలాడలేదు.

13. Howebeit, no man spake openlye of hym, for feare of the Iewes.

14. సగము పండుగైనప్పుడు యేసు దేవాలయములోనికి వెళ్లి బోధించుచుండెను.

14. Nowe when halfe of the feast was done, Iesus went vp into the temple, and taught.

15. యూదులు అందుకు ఆశ్చర్యపడి చదువుకొనని ఇతనికి ఈ పాండిత్యమెట్లు వచ్చెనని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

15. And the Iewes marueyled, saying: howe knoweth he the scriptures, seyng that he neuer learned?

16. అందుకు యేసు నేను చేయు బోధ నాది కాదు; నన్ను పంపినవానిదే.

16. Iesus aunswered them, & sayde: My doctrine is not myne, but his yt sent me.

17. ఎవడైనను ఆయన చిత్తము చొప్పున చేయ నిశ్చయించుకొనినయెడల, ఆ బోధ దేవునివలన కలిగినదో, లేక నా యంతట నేనే బోధించు చున్నానో, వాడు తెలిసికొనును.

17. Yf any man wyll do his wyll, he shall knowe of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speake of my selfe.

18. తనంతట తానే బోధించువాడు స్వకీయ మహిమను వెదకును గాని తన్ను పంపినవాని మహి మను వెదకువాడు సత్యవంతుడు, ఆయన యందు ఏ దుర్నీతియులేదు.

18. He that speaketh of hym selfe, seketh his owne praise: But he that seketh his praise that sent hym, the same is true, & no vnryghteousnes is in hym.

19. మోషే మీకు ధర్మశాస్త్రము ఇయ్యలేదా? అయినను మీలో ఎవడును ఆ ధర్మశాస్త్ర మును గైకొనడు; మీరెందుకు నన్ను చంప జూచుచున్నారని వారితో చెప్పెను.

19. Dyd not Moyses geue you a lawe, & [yet] none of you kepeth the lawe? Why go ye about to kyll me?

20. అందుకు జనసమూహము నీవు దయ్యము పట్టినవాడవు, ఎవడు నిన్ను చంప జూచుచున్నాడని అడుగగా

20. The people aunswered and sayde: Thou hast the deuyll, who goeth about to kyll thee?

21. యేసు వారిని చూచి నేను ఒక కార్యము చేసితిని; అందుకు మీరందరు ఆశ్చర్యపడు చున్నారు.

21. Iesus aunswered, & said vnto the: I haue done one worke, & ye al marueyle.

22. మోషే మీకు సున్నతి సంస్కారమును నియమించెను, ఈ సంస్కారము మోషేవలన కలిగినది కాదు, పితరులవలననే కలిగినది. అయినను విశ్రాంతిదినమున మీరు మనుష్యునికి సున్నతి చేయు చున్నారు.

22. Moyses therefore gaue vnto you the circumcisio (not because it is of Moyses, but of the fathers) And yet ye on the Sabboth day, circumcise a man.

23. మోషే ధర్మ శాస్త్రము మీరకుండునట్లు ఒక మనుష్యుడు విశ్రాంతి దినమున సున్నతిపొందును గదా. ఇట్లుండగా నేను విశ్రాంతి దినమున ఒక మనుష్యుని పూర్ణస్వస్థతగల వానిగా చేసినందుకు మీరు నామీద ఆగ్రహపడు చున్నారేమి?

23. Yf a man on the Sabboth day receaue circumcision, without breakyng of the lawe of Moyses: disdayne ye at me, because I haue made a man euerywhyt whole on the Sabboth day?

24. వెలిచూపునుబట్టి తీర్పు తీర్చక న్యాయమైన తీర్పు తీర్చుడనెను.

24. Iudge not after the [vtter] appearaunce, but iudge with a ryghteous iudgement.

25. యెరూషలేమువారిలో కొందరు వారు చంప వెదకు వాడు ఈయనే కాడా?

25. The sayde some of them of Hierusale: Is not this he, whom they go about to kyll?

26. ఇదిగో ఈయన బహిరంగముగా మాటలాడుచున్నను ఈయనను ఏమనరు; ఈయన క్రీస్తని అధికారులు నిజముగా తెలిసికొనియుందురా?

26. But loe, he speaketh boldly, & they saye nothyng to hym. Do the rulers knowe in deede that this is very Christ?

27. అయినను ఈయన ఎక్కడి వాడో యెరుగుదుము; క్రీస్తు వచ్చునప్పుడు ఆయన యెక్కడివాడో యెవడును ఎరుగడని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

27. Howbeit, we know this man whence he is: but when Christe cometh, no man knoweth whence he is.

28. కాగా యేసు దేవాలయములో బోధించుచుమీరు నన్నెరుగుదురు; నేనెక్కడివాడనో యెరుగుదురు; నా యంతట నేనే రాలేదు, నన్ను పంపినవాడు సత్యవంతుడు, ఆయనను మీరెరుగరు.

28. Then cryed Iesus in the temple, as he taught, saying: Ye both knowe me, and whence I am, ye knowe. And I am not come of my selfe: but he that set me is true, whom ye knowe not.

29. నేను ఆయన యొద్దనుండి వచ్చితిని;ఆయన నన్ను పంపెను గనుక నేను ఆయనను ఎరుగుదునని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పెను.

29. But I knowe him, for I am of him, and he hath sent me.

30. అందుకు వారాయనను పట్టుకొన యత్నముచేసిరి గాని ఆయన గడియ యింకను రాలేదు గనుక ఎవడును ఆయనను పట్టు కొనలేదు.

30. Then they sought to take hym: but no man layde handes on hym, because his houre was not yet come.

31. మరియు జనసమూహములో అనేకులు ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచిక్రీస్తు వచ్చునప్పుడు ఈయన చేసినవాటి కంటె ఎక్కువైన సూచక క్రియలు చేయునా అని చెప్పుకొనిరి.

31. Many of the people beleued on hym, and saide: When Christe commeth, wyl he do mo miracles [then these] that this man hath done?

32. జనసమూహము ఆయనను గూర్చి యీలాగు సణుగుకొనుట పరిసయ్యులు వినినప్పుడు, ప్రధానయాజకులును పరిసయ్యులును ఆయనను పట్టుకొనుటకు బంట్రౌతులను పంపిరి.

32. The pharisees hearde, that the people murmured such thinges concerning hym: And the pharisees and the hye priestes sent seruauntes to take hym.

33. యేసు ఇంక కొంతకాలము నేను మీతోకూడ నుందును; తరువాత నన్ను పంపినవానియొద్దకు వెళ్లుదును;

33. Then sayde Iesus vnto them: yet am I a litle whyle with you, and then go I vnto hym that sent me.

34. మీరు నన్ను వెదకుదురు గాని నన్ను కనుగొనరు, నేనెక్కడ ఉందునో అక్కడికి మీరు రాలేరనెను.

34. Ye shall seke me, & shall not fynde me: & where I am thither can ye not come.

35. అందుకు యూదులుమనము ఈయనను కనుగొనకుండునట్లు ఈయన ఎక్కడికి వెళ్లబోవుచున్నాడు? గ్రీసుదేశస్థులలో చెదరిపోయిన వారియొద్దకు వెళ్లి గ్రీసుదేశస్థులకు బోధించునా?

35. Then sayde the Iewes among them selues: Whyther wyll he go, that we shall not fynde hym? Wyll he go vnto the dispearsed among the Gretians, & teache the gentiles?

36. నన్ను వెదకుదురు గాని కనుగొనరు, నేనెక్కడ ఉందునో అక్కడికి మీరు రాలేరని ఆయన చెప్పిన యీ మాట ఏమిటో అని తమలోతాము చెప్పుకొనుచుండిరి.

36. What [maner of] saying is this that he sayde, ye shall seke me, and shall not fynde me: and where I am, thyther can ye not come?

37. ఆ పండుగలో మహాదినమైన అంత్యదినమున యేసు నిలిచిఎవడైనను దప్పిగొనిన యెడల నాయొద్దకు వచ్చి దప్పి తీర్చుకొనవలెను.

37. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Iesus stoode and cryed, saying: Yf any man thirste, let him come vnto me and drynke:

38. నాయందు విశ్వాసముంచు వాడెవడో లేఖనము చెప్పినట్టు వాని కడుపులోనుండి జీవ జలనదులు పారునని బిగ్గరగా చెప్పెను.

38. He that beleueth on me, as saith the scripture, out of his belly shall flowe ryuers of water of lyfe.

39. తనయందు విశ్వాసముంచువారు పొంద బోవు ఆత్మనుగూర్చి ఆయన ఈ మాట చెప్పెను. యేసు ఇంకను మహిమపరచబడలేదు గనుక ఆత్మ ఇంకను అనుగ్రహింపబడియుండలేదు.

39. (But this spake he of the spirite, which they yt beleue on hym, should receaue. For the holy ghost was not yet [there] because Iesus was not yet glorified.)

40. జనసమూహములో కొందరు ఈ మాటలు వినినిజముగా ఈయన ఆ ప్రవక్తయే అనిరి;

40. Many of the people therfore, when they hearde this saying, sayde: Of a trueth this is the prophete.

41. మరికొందరు ఈయన క్రీస్తే అనిరి; మరికొందరుఏమి? క్రీస్తు గలిలయలో నుండి వచ్చునా?

41. But other sayde, this is Christe: But some saide, shall Christe come out of Galilee?

42. క్రీస్తు దావీదు సంతానములో పుట్టి దావీదు ఉండిన బేత్లెహేమను గ్రామములోనుండి వచ్చునని లేఖనము చెప్పుటలేదా అనిరి.

42. Sayth not the scripture, that Christe shall come of the seede of Dauid, and out of the towne of Bethlehem, where Dauid was?

43. కాబట్టి ఆయనను గూర్చి జనసమూహములో భేదము పుట్టెను.

43. So was there discention among the people, because of hym.

44. వారిలో కొందరు ఆయనను పట్టుకొన దలచిరి గాని యెవడును ఆయనను పట్టుకొనలేదు.

44. And some of them woulde haue taken hym, but no man layde handes on him.

45. ఆ బంట్రౌతులు ప్రధానయాజకులయొద్దకును పరిసయ్యులయొద్దకును వచ్చినప్పుడు వారుఎందుకు మీ రాయ నను తీసికొని రాలేదని అడుగగా

45. Then came the seruauntes to the hye priestes & pharisees: and they sayde vnto them, why haue ye not brought him?

46. ఆ బంట్రౌతులు ఆ మనుష్యుడు మాటలాడినట్లు ఎవడును ఎన్నడును మాట లాడలేదనిరి.

46. The seruauntes aunswered: Neuer man spake as this man doeth.

47. అందుకు పరిసయ్యులు మీరుకూడ మోస పోతిరా?

47. Then aunswered them the pharisees: Are ye also deceaued?

48. అధికారులలో గాని పరిసయ్యులలో గాని యెవడైనను ఆయనయందు విశ్వాసముంచెనా?

48. Doth any of the rulers or of the pharisees beleue on hym?

49. అయితే ధర్మశాస్త్ర మెరుగని యీ జనసమూహము శాపగ్రస్తమైనదని వారితో అనిరి.

49. But this [common] people which know not the lawe, are cursed.

50. అంతకుమునుపు ఆయనయొద్దకు వచ్చిన నీకొదేము వారిలో ఒకడు.

50. Nicodemus sayth vnto the, he that came to Iesus by nyght, and was one of them:

51. అతడు ఒక మనుష్యుని మాట వినకమునుపును, వాడు చేసినది తెలిసికొనక మునుపును, మన ధర్మశాస్త్రము అతనికి తీర్పు తీర్చునా అని అడుగగా
ద్వితీయోపదేశకాండము 1:16

51. Doth our lawe iudge any man, before it heare hym, and knowe what he hath done?

52. వారు నీవును గలిలయుడవా? విచారించి చూడుము, గలిలయలో ఏ ప్రవక్తయు పుట్టడనిరి.

52. They aunswered, and saide vnto him: Art thou also of Galilee? Search & loke: For out of Galilee aryseth no prophete.

53. అంతట ఎవరి యింటికి వారు వెళ్లిరి.

53. And euery man went vnto his owne house.
