1. మమ్మును మేమే తిరిగి మెప్పించుకొన మొదలు పెట్టు చున్నామా? కొందరికి కావలసినట్టు మీయొద్దకైనను మీ యొద్దనుండియైనను సిఫారసు పత్రికలు మాకు అవసరమా?

1. Are we to begin again, ourselves, to commend? or have we need, like some, of commendatory letters unto you, or from you?

2. మా హృదయములమీద వ్రాయబడియుండి, మనుష్యులందరు తెలిసికొనుచు చదువుకొనుచున్న మా పత్రిక మీరేకారా?

2. Our letter, ye, are, inscribed in our hearts, noted and read by all men:

3. Manifesting yourselves that ye are a letter of Christ, ministered by us, inscribed not with ink, but with the Spirit of a Living God, not in tablets of stone, but in tablets which are hearts of flesh.

4. But, such confidence as this, have we, through the Christ, towards God.

5. Not that, of our own selves, sufficient, are we, to reckon anything as of ourselves, but, our sufficiency, is of God;

6. Who also hath made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant not of letter, but of spirit, for, the letter, killeth, whereas, the Spirit, maketh alive.

7. మరణ కారణమగు పరిచర్య, రాళ్లమీద చెక్కబడిన అక్షరములకు సంబంధించినదైనను, మహి మతో కూడినదాయెను. అందుకే మోషే ముఖముమీద ప్రకాశించుచుండిన ఆ మహిమ తగ్గిపోవునదైనను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అతని ముఖము తేరిచూడలేక పోయిరి.

7. But, if, the ministry of death, in letters engraven in stones, was brought into existence with glory, so that the sons of Israel could not look steadfastly into the face of Moses, by reason of the glory of his face which glory was to be done away,

8. ఇట్లుండగా ఆత్మసంబంధ మైన పరిచర్య యెంత మహిమగలదై యుండును?

8. How shall not, rather, the ministry of the Spirit, be with glory?

9. శిక్షా విధికి కారణమైన పరిచర్యయే మహిమ కలిగినదైతే నీతికి కారణమైన పరిచర్య యెంతో అధికమైన మహిమ కల దగును.

9. For, if, the ministry of condemnation was glory, much rather, doth the ministry of righteousness abound with glory,

10. అత్యధికమైన మహిమ దీనికుండుటవలన ఇంతకు మునుపు మహిమ కలదిగా చేయబడినది యీ విషయములో మహిమలేనిదాయెను.

10. For that which hath been made glorious, hath not even been made glorious, in this respect, by reason of the surpassing glory.

11. తగ్గిపోవునదే మహిమగలదై యుండినయెడల, నిలుచునది మరి యెక్కువ మహిమగలదై యుండును గదా.

11. For, if that which was to be done away was brought in with glory, much more, that which is to abide, is in glory.

12. తగ్గిపోవుచున్న మహిమయొక్క అంతమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తేరిచూడకుండునట్లు మోషే తన ముఖము మీద ముసుకు వేసికొనెను.

12. Having, then, such hope as this, great openness of speech, do we use;

13. మేమట్లు చేయక, యిట్టి నిరీక్షణ గలవారమై బహు ధైర్యముగా మాటలాడు చున్నాము.

13. And are not just like Moses, who kept putting a veil upon his face, so that the sons of Israel should not look steadily unto the end of that which was to be done away.

14. మరియు వారి మనస్సులు కఠినములాయెను గనుక నేటివరకును పాతనిబంధన చదువబడునప్పుడు, అది క్రీస్తునందు కొట్టివేయ బడెనని వారికి తేటపరచబడక, ఆ ముసుకే నిలిచియున్నది.

14. But their thoughts were turned into stone: for, until this very day, the same veil, upon the reading of the old covenant, abideth, not to be removed, because, in Christ, it is to be done away;

15. నేటి వరకును మోషే గ్రంథము వారు చదువునప్పుడెల్ల ముసుకు వారి హృదయముల మీదనున్నది గాని

15. But, until this day, whensoever Moses is read, a veil upon their heart, doth lie;

16. వారి హృదయము ప్రభువువైపునకు ఎప్పుడు తిరుగునో అప్పుడు ముసుకు తీసివేయబడును.

16. Howbeit, whensoever he turneth unto the Lord, he taketh off the veil:

17. ప్రభువే ఆత్మ ప్రభువుయొక్క ఆత్మయెక్కడ నుండునో అక్కడ స్వాతంత్ర్యము నుండును.

17. And, the Lord, is, the Spirit: now, where the Spirit of one who is Lord is, there is freedom!

18. మన మందరమును ముసుకు లేని ముఖముతో ప్రభువుయొక్క మహిమను అద్దమువలె ప్రతిఫలింపజేయుచు, మహిమనుండి అధిక మహిమను పొందుచు, ప్రభువగు ఆత్మచేత ఆ పోలిక గానే మార్చబడుచున్నాము.

18. And, we all, with unveiled face, receiving and reflecting, the glory of the Lord, into the same image, are being transformed, from glory into glory, even as from a Spirit that is Lord.
