1. మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు నీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కిచ్చిన దేశమున మీరు భూమిమీద బ్రదుకు దినములన్నిటను మీరు అను సరించి గైకొనవలసిన కట్టడలును విధులును ఇవి.

1. These are the ordinaunces and lawes whiche ye shall obserue and do in the lande, whiche the Lorde God of thy fathers geueth thee to possesse it as long as ye liue vpon the earth.

2. మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొన బోవు జనములు గొప్ప పర్వతముల మీద నేమి మెట్టల మీదనేమి పచ్చని చెట్లన్నిటిక్రిందనేమి, యెక్కడెక్కడనైతే తమ దేవతలను పూజించెనో ఆ స్థలము లన్నిటిని మీరు బొత్తిగా పాడుచేయవలెను.

2. Ye shall destroy all places wherin the nations whiche ye shall possesse serued their gods, vpon hye mountaynes, on hylles, and vnder euery greene tree.

3. వారి బలి పీఠములను పడద్రోసి వారి విగ్రహములను పగులగొట్టి వారి దేవతాస్తంభములను అగ్నితో కాల్చి వారి దేవతల ప్రతిమలను కూలద్రోసి వాటి పేరులు అచ్చట లేకుండ నశింప జేయవలెను.

3. You shall ouerthrowe their aulters, and breake their pillers, and burne their groues with fire, and you shall hewe downe the grauen images of the gods that they haue, and bryng the names of them to naught out of that place.

4. వారు తమ దేవతలకు చేసినట్టు మీరు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను గూర్చి చేయకూడదు.

4. Ye shall not do so vnto the Lorde your God:

5. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీ సమస్త గోత్రములలో తన నామమును స్థాపించుకొనుటకు నివాసస్థానముగా ఏర్ప రచుకొను స్థలమును వెదకి అక్కడికే యాత్రలు చేయు చుండవలెను.
యోహాను 4:20

5. But ye shall seeke the place which the Lorde your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, and there to dwell, and thyther thou shalt come:

6. అక్కడికే మీరు మీ దహన బలులను, మీ బలులను, మీ దశమభాగములను, ప్రతిష్టితములుగా మీరు చేయు నైవేద్యములను, మీ మ్రొక్కుబడి అర్పణ ములను, మీ స్వేచ్ఛార్పణములను, పశువులలోను గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోను తొలిచూలు వాటిని తీసికొని రావలెను.

6. And thyther ye shal bryng your burnt sacrifices, your offeringes, your tithes, and heaue offeringes of your hande, your vowes, your freewyll offeringes, and the first borne of your kyne, and of your sheepe.

7. మీరును మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మిమ్మునాశీర్వదించి మీకు కలుగజేసిన మీ కుటుంబములును మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని భోజనముచేసి మీ చేతిపనులన్నిటి యందు సంతోషింపవలెను.

7. And there ye shall eate before the Lorde your God, and ye shall reioyce in all that ye put your hande vnto, both ye and your housholdes, wherin the Lord thy God hath blessed thee.

8. నేడు మనమిక్కడ చేయు చున్నట్లు మీలో ప్రతి మనుష్యుడు తన కంటికి యుక్త మైన దంతయు చేయకూడదు.

8. Ye shall not do after all the thinges that we do here this day, euery man what seemeth hym good in his owne eyes.

9. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ కిచ్చుచున్న విశ్రాంతిని స్వాస్థ్యమును మీరు ఇదివరకు పొందలేదు.

9. For ye are not yet come to rest, and to the inheritaunce whiche the Lord your God geueth you.

10. మీరు యొర్దాను దాటి మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చుచున్న దేశమున నివాసులైన తరువాత ఆయన మీ చుట్టునుండు శత్రువు లందరు లేకుండ మీకు విశ్రాంతి కలుగజేసినందున మీరు నెమ్మది పొందునప్పుడు

10. But when ye go ouer Iordane, and dwell in the lande whiche the Lorde your God hath geuen you to inherite, and when he hath geuen you rest from al your enemies rounde about, and shal dwell in safetie:

11. నేను మికాజ్ఞా పించు సమస్త మును, అనగా మీ దహన బలులను మీ బలులను మీ దశమ భాగములను ప్రతిష్ఠితములుగా మీరు చేయు నైవేద్యములను మీరు యెహోవాకు మ్రొక్కుకొను మీ శ్రేష్ఠమైన మ్రొక్కు బళ్లను మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన నామమునకు నివాసస్థానముగా ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థల మునకే మీరు తీసికొని రావలెను.

11. Then vnto the place which the Lord your God hath chosen to put his name there, ye shall bryng all that I commaunde you: namely, your burnt sacrifices, your offeringes, your tithes, the heaue offering of your hande, and all your speciall vowes whiche ye vowe vnto the Lorde.

12. మీరు, మీ కుమా రులు, మీ కుమార్తెలు, మీ దాసులు, మీ పనికత్తెలు, మీలో పాలైనను స్వాస్థ్యమైనను పొందక మీ యిండ్లలో ఉండు లేవీయులు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సంతోషింపవలెను.

12. And ye shall reioyce before the Lorde your God, ye and your sonnes, and your daughters, your seruauntes, and your maydens, and the Leuite that is within your gates, forasmuche as he hah no part nor inheritauce with you.

13. నీవు చూచిన ప్రతి స్థలమున నీ దహనబలులను అర్పింపకూడదు సుమీ.

13. Take heede that thou offer not thy burnt offeringes in euery place that thou seest:

14. యెహోవా నీ గోత్రములలో ఒకదానియందు ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలముననే నీ దహనబలులను అర్పించి నేను మీకా జ్ఞాపించుచున్న సమస్తమును అక్కడనే జరిగింపవలెను.

14. But in the place which the Lord shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offeringes, and there thou shalt do al that I comaunde thee.

15. అయితే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించినకొలది యిండ్ల న్నిటిలో నీ మనస్సు కోరుదానిని చంపి తినవచ్చును. పవిత్రులేమి అపవిత్రు లేమి యెఱ్ఱజింకను చిన్న దుప్పిని తినినట్లు తినవచ్చును.

15. Notwithstanding, thou mayest kyll and eate fleshe in all thy cities, whatsoeuer thy soule lusteth after, accordyng to the blessing of the Lorde thy God, whiche he hath geuen thee: both the vncleane and the cleane may eate therof, euen of the Roe bucke, and of the Hart.

16. మీరు రక్తము మాత్రము తినక దానిని నీళ్లవలె నేలమీద పారబోయవలెను.

16. Only ye shall not eate the blood, but powre it vpon the earth as water.

17. నీ ధాన్యములో నేమి నీ ద్రాక్షారసములోనేమి నీ నూనెలోనేమి దశమభాగమును, నీ గోవులలోనిదేమి నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలోని దేమి తొలిచూలు పిల్లలను నీవు మ్రొక్కుకొను మ్రొక్కుబళ్లలో దేనిని నీ స్వేచ్చా éర్పణమును ప్రతిష్ఠార్పణమును నీ యింట తినక

17. Thou mayest not eate within thy gates the tithe of thy corne, of thy wine, and of thy oyle, and the first borne of thy kine, and of thy sheepe, neither any of thy vowes which thou vowest, nor thy freewill offeringes, or heaue offering of thyne hande:

18. నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలముననే నీవు, నీ కుమారుడు, నీ కుమార్తె, నీ దాసుడు, నీ దాసి, నీ యింట నుండు లేవీయులు, కలిసికొని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని తిని, నీవు చేయు ప్రయత్నములన్నిటిలో నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని సంతోషించుదువు.

18. But thou must eate them before the Lorde thy God, in the place whiche the Lorde thy God hath chosen, thou and thy sonne, & thy daughter, thy seruaunt, and thy mayde, and the Lenite that is within thy gates: and thou shalt reioyce before the Lorde thy God, in all that thou puttest thyne hande to.

19. నీవు నీ దేశములోనున్న నీ దినములన్నిటను లేవీయులను విడువ కూడదు సుమీ.

19. Beware that thou forsake not the Leuite, as long as thou liuest vpon the earth.

20. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తాను నీకిచ్చిన మాటచొప్పున నీ సరిహద్దులను విశాలపరచిన తరువాత నిశ్చయముగా మాంసము తినగోరి మాంసము తినెదననుకొందువు. అప్పుడు నీకిష్టమైన మాంసము తినవచ్చును.

20. If when the Lorde thy God shall enlarge thy border as he hath promised thee, thou say, I will eate flesh (because thy soule longeth to eate fleshe) thou mayest eate fleshe whatsoeuer thy soule lusteth.

21. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తన నామమును ప్రకటించుటకు ఏర్పరచు కొను స్థలము మీకు దూర ముగా ఉండిన యెడల

21. If the place whiche the Lorde thy God hath chosen to put his name there, be to farre from thee, then thou shalt kil of thy oxen and of thy sheepe which the Lord gath geuen thee, as I haue commaunded thee, and thou shalt eate in thyne owne citie whatsoeuer thy soule lusteth.

22. యెహోవా నీకిచ్చిన గోవులలోనిదేగాని మీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకలలోనిదేగాని నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు చంపి నీవు ఆశించినదాని నీ యింట తినవచ్చును. జింకను దుప్పిని తినునట్లు దాని తినవచ్చును. పవిత్రాపవిత్రులు భేదము లేకుండ తినవచ్చును.

22. And as the Roe bucke and the Hart is eaten, euen so thou shalt eate them: both the cleane and the vncleane shall eate of them.

23. అయితే రక్తమును తిననే తిన కూడదు. భద్రము సుమీ. ఏలయనగా రక్తము ప్రాణము; మాంసముతో ప్రాణాధారమైనదాని తినకూడదు;

23. But be strong, that thou eate not the blood: for the blood is the life, and thou mayest not eate the life with the fleshe.

24. నీవు దాని తినక భూమిమీద నీళ్లవలె పారబోయవలెను.

24. Thou shalt not eate it, but powre it vpon the earth as water.

25. నీవు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యుక్తమైనదానిని చేసినందున నీకు నీ తరువాత నీ సంతతివారికి మేలుకలుగునట్లు దాని తినకూడదు.

25. Thou shalt not eate it, that it may go well with thee, and with thy chyldren after thee: But thou shalt do that whiche is ryght in the sight of the Lorde.

26. నీకు నియమింపబడిన ప్రతిష్టితములను మ్రొక్కుబళ్లను మాత్రము యెహోవా ఏర్పరచుకొను స్థలమునకు నీవు తీసికొని పోవలెను.

26. But thy holy thynges whiche thou hast, and thy vowes, thou shalt take, and come vnto the place whiche the Lorde hath chosen.

27. నీ దహనబలులను వాటి రక్తమాంసములను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా బలిపీఠము మీద అర్పింపవలెను. నీ బలుల రక్తమును నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద పోయవలెను; వాటి మాంసము నీవు తినవలెను.

27. And thou shalt offer thy burnt offeringes, both fleshe and blood vpon the aulter of the Lorde thy God: and the blood of thyne offeringes shalbe powred out vpon the aulter of the Lord thy God, and thou shalt eate the fleshe.

28. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా దృష్టికి యుక్త మును యథార్థమునగు దానిని నీవు చేసినందున నీకును నీ తరువాత నీ సంతతివారికిని నిత్యము మేలుకలుగునట్లు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించుచున్న యీ మాటలన్నిటిని నీవు జాగ్ర త్తగా వినవలెను.

28. Take heede, & heare all these wordes which I commaunde thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy chyldren after thee for euer, if thou doest that whiche is good and ryght in the sight of the Lorde thy God.

29. నీవు వారి దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు వెళ్లు చున్న జనములను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుట నుండి నాశముచేసిన తరువాత, నీవు వారి స్వాస్థ్యమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొని, వారి దేశములో నివసించునప్పుడు, వారు నీ యెదుటనుండి నశింపజేయబడిన తరువాత నీవు వారి వెంట వెళ్లి చిక్కుబడి,

29. When the Lord thy God shall destroy the nations before thee whyther thou goest to possesse them, and thou succeedest in their inheritaunce, and dwellest in their lande:

30. వారి దేవతలను ఆశ్ర యింపగోరిఈ జనములు తమ దేవతలను కొలిచినట్లు నేనును చేసెదనని అనుకొనకుండ జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండ వలెను.

30. Beware that thou be not taken in a snare after them, after that they be destroyed before thee, and that thou aske not after their gods, saying: Howe do these nations serue their gods? I wyll do so likewise.

31. తమ దేవతలకు వారు చేసినట్లు నీవు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవాను గూర్చి చేయవలదు, ఏలయనగా యెహోవా ద్వేషించు ప్రతి హేయ క్రియను వారు తమ దేవతలకు చేసిరి. వారు తమ దేవతలపేరట తమ కూమా రులను తమ కుమార్తెలను అగ్నిహోత్రములో కాల్చి వేయుదురు గదా.

31. Nay, thou shalt not do so vnto the Lorde thy God: for all abhominations, and that whiche the Lorde hateth, the same haue they done vnto their gods.

32. నేను మీ కాజ్ఞాపించుచున్న ప్రతి మాటను అనుసరించి చేయవలెను. దానిలో నీవు ఏమియు కలుపకూడదు దానిలోనుండి ఏమియు తీసివేయకూడదు.

32. For they haue burned both their sonnes and their daughters with fire before their gods. Therefore whatsoeuer I commaunde you, take heede ye do it: and put thou naught therto, nor take ought therefrom.
