1. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట శ్రద్ధగా వినినేడు నేను నీకు ఆజ్ఞాపించుచున్న ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలనన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనినయెడల నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త జనములకంటె నిన్ను హెచ్చించును.

1. Today I am giving you the laws and teachings of the LORD your God. Always obey them, and the LORD will make Israel the most famous and important nation on earth, and he will bless you in many ways.

2. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మాట వినినయెడల ఈ దీవెనలన్నియు నీమీదికి వచ్చి నీకు ప్రాప్తించును.

2. (SEE 28:1)

3. నీవు పట్టణములో దీవింపబడుదువు; పొలములో దీవింప బడుదువు;

3. The LORD will make your businesses and your farms successful.

4. నీ గర్భఫలము నీ భూఫలము నీ పశువుల మందలు నీ దుక్కి టెద్దులు నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలు దీవింపబడును;

4. You will have many children. You will harvest large crops, and your herds of cattle and flocks of sheep and goats will produce many young.

5. నీ గంపయు పిండి పిసుకు నీ తొట్టియు దీవింపబడును.

5. You will have plenty of bread to eat.

6. నీవు లోపలికి వచ్చునప్పుడు దీవింప బడుదువు; వెలుపలికి వెళ్లునప్పుడు దీవింపబడుదువు.

6. The LORD will make you successful in your daily work.

7. నీమీదపడు నీ శత్రువులను యెహోవా నీ యెదుట హత మగునట్లు చేయును; వారొక త్రోవను నీమీదికి బయలు దేరి వచ్చి యేడు త్రోవల నీ యెదుటనుండి పారిపోవు దురు.

7. The LORD will help you defeat your enemies and make them scatter in all directions.

8. నీ కొట్లలోను నీవు చేయు ప్రయత్నము లన్నిటి లోను నీకు దీవెన కలుగునట్లు యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించును. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశములో ఆయన నిన్ను ఆశీర్వదించును.

8. The LORD your God is giving you the land, and he will make sure you are successful in everything you do. Your harvests will be so large that your storehouses will be full.

9. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి ఆయన మార్గములలో నడుచుకొనిన యెడల యెహోవా నీకు ప్రమాణము చేసియున్నట్లు ఆయన తనకు ప్రతిష్టితజనముగా నిన్ను స్థాపించును.

9. If you follow and obey the LORD, he will make you his own special people, just as he promised.

10. భూప్రజలందరు యెహోవా నామమున నీవు పిలువబడు చుండుట చూచి నీకు భయపడుదురు.

10. Then everyone on earth will know that you belong to the LORD, and they will be afraid of you.

11. మరియు యెహోవా నీకిచ్చెదనని నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశమున యెహోవా నీ గర్భఫల విషయములోను నీ పశు వుల విషయములోను నీ నేలపంట విషయములోను నీకు సమృద్ధిగా మేలు కలుగజేయును.

11. The LORD will give you a lot of children and make sure that your animals give birth to many young. The LORD promised your ancestors that this land would be yours, and he will make it produce large crops for you.

12. యెహోవా నీ దేశముమీద వర్షము దాని కాలమందు కురిపించుటకును నీవు చేయు కార్యమంతటిని ఆశీర్వదించుటకును, ఆకాశ మను తన మంచి ధననిధిని తెరచును. నీవు అనేకజనము లకు అప్పిచ్చెదవు కాని అప్పుచేయవు

12. The LORD will open the storehouses of the skies where he keeps the rain, and he will send rain on your land at just the right times. He will make you successful in everything you do. You will have plenty of money to lend to other nations, but you won't need to borrow any yourself.

13. నేడు నేను మీకా జ్ఞాపించు మాటలన్నిటిలో దేనివిషయములోను కుడికి గాని యెడమకుగాని తొలగి

13. Obey the laws and teachings that I'm giving you today, and the LORD your God will make Israel a leader among the nations, and not a follower. Israel will be wealthy and powerful, not poor and weak.

14. అన్యుల దేవతలను అనుసరింపకయు వాటిని పూజింపకయు నున్నయెడల, నీవు అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెనని నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞా పించుచున్న నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ లను విని వాటిని అనుసరించి గైకొనినయెడల, యెహోవా నిన్ను తలగా నియమించునుగాని తోకగా నియమింపడు. నీవు పైవాడ వుగా ఉందువుగాని క్రింది వాడవుగా ఉండవు.

14. But you must not reject any of his laws and teachings or worship other gods.

15. నేను నేడు నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన సమస్తమైన ఆజ్ఞలను కట్టడలను నీవు అనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెనని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినమాట విననియెడల ఈ శాపములన్నియు నీకు సంభవించును.

15. Israel, today I am giving you the laws and teachings of the LORD your God. And if you don't obey them all, he will put many curses on you.

16. పట్టణములో నీవు శపింపబడుదువు; పొలములో నీవు శపింపబడుదువు;

16. Your businesses and farms will fail.

17. నీ గంపయు పిండి పిసుకు నీ తొట్టియు శపింపబడును;

17. You won't have enough bread to eat.

18. నీ గర్భఫలము నీ భూమి పంట నీ ఆవులు నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకల మందలు శపింపబడును;

18. You'll have only a few children, your crops will be small, and your herds of cattle and flocks of sheep and goats won't produce many young.

19. నీవు లోపలికి వచ్చునప్పుడు శపింప బడుదువు; వెలుపలికి వెళ్లునప్పుడును శపింపబడు దువు.

19. The LORD will make you fail in everything you do.

20. నీవు నన్ను విడిచి చేసిన నీ దుష్కార్యములచేత నీవు హతము చేయబడి వేగముగా నశించువరకు, నీవు చేయ బూనుకొను కార్యములన్నిటి విషయములోను యెహోవా శాపమును కలవరమును గద్దింపును నీ మీదికి తెప్పించును.

20. No matter what you try to accomplish, the LORD will confuse you, and you will feel his anger. You won't last long, and you may even meet with disaster, all because you rejected the LORD.

21. నీవు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనబోవు దేశములో నుండకుండ నిన్ను క్షీణింప జేయువరకు యెహోవా తెగులు నిన్ను వెంటాడును.

21. The LORD will send terrible diseases to attack you, and you will never be well again. You will suffer with burning fever and swelling and pain until you die somewhere in the land that you captured. The LORD will make the sky overhead seem like a bronze roof that keeps out the rain, and the ground under your feet will become as hard as iron. Your crops will be scorched by the hot east wind or ruined by mildew.

22. యెహోవా క్షయరోగముచేతను జ్వరముచేతను మంటచేతను మహాతాపముచేతను ఖడ్గము చేతను కంకి కాటుకచేతను బూజుచేతను నిన్ను కొట్టును; నీవు నశించువరకు అవి నిన్ను తరుమును.

24. He will send dust and sandstorms instead of rain, and you will be wiped out.

25. యెహోవా నీ శత్రువుల యెదుట నిన్ను ఓడించును. ఒక్కమార్గ మున వారి యెదుటికి బయలుదేరి నీవు యేడు మార్గముల వారి యెదుటనుండి పారిపోయి, భూరాజ్యములన్నిటి లోనికి యిటు అటు చెదరగొట్ట బడుదువు.

25. The LORD will let you be defeated by your enemies, and you will scatter in all directions. You will be a horrible sight for the other nations to see,

26. నీ కళే బరము సకలమైన ఆకాశపక్షులకును భూజంతువులకును ఆహారమగును; వాటిని బెదరించు వాడెవడును ఉండడు.

26. and no one will disturb the birds and wild animals while they eat your dead bodies.

27. యెహోవా ఐగుప్తు పుంటిచేతను మూలవ్యాధిచేతను కుష్టు చేతను గజ్జిచేతను నిన్ను బాధించును; నీవు వాటిని పోగొట్టుకొనజాలకుందువు.

27. The LORD will make you suffer with diseases that will cause oozing sores or crusty itchy patches on your skin or boils like the ones that are common in Egypt. And there will be no cure for you!

28. వెఱ్ఱితనముచేతను గ్రుడ్డి తనముచేతను హృదయ విస్మయముచేతను యెహోవా నిన్ను బాధించును.

28. You will become insane and go blind. The LORD will make you so confused,

29. అప్పుడు గ్రుడ్డివాడు చీకటిలో తడువు లాడు రీతిగా నీవు మధ్యాహ్నమందు తడువులాడుదువు; నీ మార్గములను వర్ధిల్లచేసికొనలేవు; నీవు హింసింపబడి నిత్యమును దోచుకొనబడెదవు; నిన్ను తప్పించు వాడెవ డును లేకపోవును,

29. that even in bright sunshine you will have to feel your way around like a blind person, who cannot tell day from night. For the rest of your life, people will beat and rob you, and no one will be able to stop them.

30. స్త్రీని ప్రధానము చేసికొందువు గాని వేరొకడు ఆమెను కూడును. ఇల్లుకట్టుదువుగాని దానిలో నివసింపవు. ద్రాక్షతోట నాటుదువుగాని దాని పండ్లు తినవు.

30. A man will be engaged to a woman, but before they can get married, she will be raped by enemy soldiers. Some of you will build houses, but never get to live in them. If you plant a vineyard, you won't be around long enough to enjoy the first harvest.

31. నీ యెద్దు నీ కన్నులయెదుట వధింప బడునుగాని దాని మాంసము నీవు తినవు. నీ గాడిద నీ యెదుటనుండి బలాత్కారముచేత కొని పోబడి నీ యొద్దకు మరల తేబడదు. నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకలు నీ శత్రువులకు ఇయ్యబడును, నిన్ను రక్షించువాడెవడును ఉండడు.

31. Your cattle will be killed while you watch, but you won't get to eat any of the meat. Your donkeys and sheep will be stolen from you, and no one will be around to force your enemies to give them back.

32. నీ కుమారులును నీ కుమార్తెలును అన్యజనమునకు ఇయ్య బడుదురు. వారి నిమిత్తము నీ కన్నులు దినమెల్లచూచిచూచి క్షీణించిపోవునుగాని నీచేత నేమియు కాకపోవును.

32. Your sons and daughters will be dragged off to a foreign country, while you stand there helpless. And even if you watch for them until you go blind, you will never see them again.

33. నీ వెరుగని జనము నీ పొలము పంటను నీ కష్టార్జితమంతయు తినివేయును. నీవు హింసను బాధను మాత్రమే నిత్యము పొందుదువు.

33. You will work hard on your farms, but everything you harvest will be eaten by foreigners, who will mistreat you and abuse you for the rest of your life.

34. నీ కన్నులయెదుట జరుగుదానిని చూచుట వలన నీకు వెఱ్ఱియెత్తును.

34. What you see will be so horrible that you will go insane,

35. యెహోవా నీ అరకాలు మొదలు కొని నీ నడినెత్తివరకు మోకాళ్లమీదను తొడల మీదను కుదరని చెడుపుండ్లు పుట్టించి నిన్ను బాధించును.

35. and the LORD will punish you from head to toe with boils that never heal.

36. యెహోవా నిన్నును నీవు నీమీద నియమించు కొను నీ రాజును, నీవేగాని నీ పితరులేగాని యెరుగని జనమున కప్పగించును. అక్కడ నీవు కొయ్యదేవతలను రాతిదేవతలను పూజించెదవు

36. The LORD will let you and your king be taken captive to a country that you and your ancestors have never even heard of, and there you will have to worship idols made of wood and stone.

37. యెహోవా నిన్ను చెదర గొట్టు చోటి ప్రజలలో విస్మయమునకు సామెతకు, నిందకు నీవు హేతువై యుందువు.

37. People of nearby countries will shudder when they see your terrible troubles, but they will still make fun of you.

38. విస్తారమైన విత్తనములు పొలములోనికి తీసికొనిపోయి కొంచెమే యింటికి తెచ్చు కొందువు; ఏలయనగా మిడతలుదాని తినివేయును.

38. You will plant a lot of seed, but gather a small harvest, because locusts will eat your crops.

39. ద్రాక్ష తోటలను నీవు నాటి బాగుచేయుదువుగాని ఆ ద్రాక్షల రసమును త్రాగవు, ద్రాక్షపండ్లను సమకూర్చుకొనవు; ఏలయనగా పురుగు వాటిని తినివేయును.

39. You will plant vineyards and work hard at taking care of them, but you won't gather any grapes, much less get any wine, and the vines themselves will be eaten by worms.

40. ఒలీవ చెట్లు నీ సమస్త ప్రాంతములలో నుండును గాని తైలముతో తల నంటుకొనవు; నీ ఒలీవ కాయలు రాలిపోవును.

40. Even if your olive trees grow everywhere in your country, the olives will fall off before they are ready, and there won't be enough olive oil for combing your hair.

41. కుమా రులను కుమార్తెలను కందువుగాని వారు నీయొద్ద నుండరు, వారు చెరపట్ట బడుదురు.

41. Even your infant sons and daughters will be taken as prisoners of war.

42. మిడతల దండు నీ చెట్లన్నిటిని నీ భూమి పంటను ఆక్రమించుకొనును.

42. Locusts will eat your crops and strip your trees of leaves and fruit.

43. నీ మధ్యనున్న పరదేశి నీ కంటె మిక్కిలి హెచ్చగును నీవు మిక్కిలి తగ్గిపోదువు.

43. Foreigners in your towns will become wealthy and powerful, while you become poor and powerless.

44. అతడు నీకు అప్పిచ్చునుగాని నీవు అతనికి అప్పియ్యలేవు. అతడు తలగానుండును నీవు తోకగా నుందువు.

44. You will be so short of money that you will have to borrow from those foreigners. They will be the leaders in the community, and you will be the followers.

45. Israel, if you don't obey the laws and teachings that the LORD your God is giving you, he will send these curses to chase, attack, and destroy you.

46. Then everyone will look at you and your descendants and realize that the LORD has placed you under a curse.

47. If the LORD makes you wealthy, but you don't joyfully worship and honor him,

48. గనుక ఆకలి దప్పులతోను వస్త్ర హీనతతోను అన్ని లోపములతోను యెహోవా నీమీదికి రప్పించు నీ శత్రువులకు దాసుడవగుదువు. వారు నిన్ను నశింపజేయువరకు నీ మెడమీద ఇనుపకాడి యుంచుదురు.

48. he will send enemies to attack you and make you their slaves. Then you will live in poverty with nothing to eat, drink, or wear, and your owners will work you to death.

49. యెహోవా దూరమైయున్న భూదిగంతమునుండి ఒక జనమును, అనగా నీకు రాని భాష కలిగిన జనమును,

49. Foreigners who speak a strange language will be sent to attack you without warning, just like an eagle swooping down.

50. క్రూరముఖము కలిగి వృద్ధులను ¸యౌవనస్థులను కటా క్షింపని జనమును గద్ద యెగిరి వచ్చునట్లు నీమీదికి రప్పిం చును.

50. They won't show any mercy, and they will have no respect for old people or pity for children.

51. నిన్ను నశింపజేయువరకు నీ పశువులను నీ పొల ముల ఫలములను వారు తినివేతురు నిన్ను నశింపజేయు వరకు ధాన్యమునేగాని ద్రాక్షారసమునేగాని తైలమునే గాని పశువుల మందలనేగాని గొఱ్ఱె మేకమందలనేగాని నీకు నిలువనియ్యరు.

51. They will take your cattle, sheep, goats, grain, wine, and olive oil, then leave you to starve.

52. మరియు నీవు ఆశ్రయించిన ఉన్నత ప్రాకారములుగల నీ కోటలు పడువరకును నీ దేశమం దంతటను నీ గ్రామములన్ని టిలోను వారు నిన్ను ముట్టడి వేయుదురు. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చిన నీ దేశ మందంతటను నీ గ్రామములన్నిటిలోను నిన్ను ముట్టడి వేయుదురు.

52. All over the land that the LORD your God gave you, the enemy army will surround your towns. You may feel safe inside your town walls, but the enemy will tear them down,

53. అప్పుడు ముట్టడిలోను నీ శత్రువులు నిన్ను పెట్టు ఇబ్బందిలోను నీ గర్భఫలమును, అనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చిన నీ కుమారుల యొక్కయు నీ కుమార్తెలయొక్కయు మాంసమును తిందువు.

53. while you wait in horror. Finally, you will get so hungry that you will eat the sons and daughters that the LORD gave you.

54. మీలో బహు మృదువైన స్వభావమును అతి సుకుమారమునుగల మను ష్యుని కన్ను తన సహోదరునియెడలను తన కౌగిటి భార్య యెడలను తాను చంపక విడుచు తన కడమపిల్లలయెడలను చెడ్డదైనందున

54. Because of hunger, a man who had been gentle and kind will eat his own children and refuse to share the meal with his brother or wife or with his other children.

55. అతడు తాను తిను తన పిల్లలమాంసములో కొంచెమైనను వారిలో నెవనికిని పెట్టడు; ఏలయనగా మీ శత్రువులు మీ గ్రామము లన్నిటియందు మిమ్మును ఇరుకు పరచుటవలనను ముట్టడివేయుటవలనను వానికి మిగిలిన దేమియు ఉండదు.

56. నీ గ్రామములలో నీ శత్రువులు నిన్ను ఇరుకుపరచుటవలనను ముట్టడివేయుటవలనను ఏమియు లేకపోవుటచేత మీలో మృదుత్వమును

56. A woman may have grown up in such luxury that she never had to put a foot on the ground. But times will be so bad that she will secretly eat both her newborn baby and the afterbirth, without sharing any with her husband or her other children.

57. అతి సుకుమారమును కలిగి మృదుత్వముచేతను అతి సుకుమా రముచేతను నేలమీద తన అరకాలు మోప తెగింపని స్త్రీ తన కాళ్లమధ్యనుండి పడు మావిని తాను కనబోవు పిల్ల లను తాను రహస్యముగా తినవలెనని తన కౌగిటి పెనిమిటి యెడలనైనను తన కుమారుని యెడలనైనను తన కుమార్తె యెడలనైనను కటాక్షము చూపకపోవును.

58. నీవు జాగ్రత్త పడి యీ గ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడిన యీ ధర్మశాస్త్ర వాక్యములన్నిటిని అనుసరించి గైకొనుచు, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా అను ఆ మహిమగల భీకరమైన నామమునకు భయపడనియెడల

58. You must obey everything in The Book of God's Law. Because if you don't respect the LORD,

59. యెహోవా నీకును నీ సంతతికిని ఆశ్చర్యమైన తెగుళ్లను కలుగజేయును. అవి దీర్ఘకాల ముండు గొప్ప తెగుళ్లును చెడ్డ రోగములునై యుండును.

59. he will punish you and your descendants with incurable diseases,

60. నీవు భయపడిన ఐగుప్తు క్షయవ్యాధులన్నిటిని ఆయన నీ మీదికి తెప్పించును; అవి నిన్ను వెంటాడును.

60. like those you were so afraid of in Egypt.

61. మరియు నీవు నశించువరకు ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్ర గ్రంథములో వ్రాయ బడని ప్రతి రోగమును ప్రతి తెగులును ఆయన నీకు కలుగజేయును.

61. Remember! If the LORD decides to destroy your nation, he can use any disease or disaster, not just the ones written in The Book of God's Law.

62. There are as many of you now as the stars in the sky, but if you disobey the LORD your God, only a few of you will be left.

63. కాబట్టి మీకు మేలు చేయుచు మిమ్మును విస్తరింపజేయు టకు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీయందు ఎట్లు సంతో షించెనో అట్లు మిమ్మును నశింపజేయుటకును మిమ్ము సంహ రించుటకును యెహోవా సంతోషించును గనుక నీవు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు ప్రవేశించుచున్న దేశములోనుండి పెల్లగింపబడుదువు.

63. The LORD is happy to make you successful and to help your nation grow while you conquer the land. But if you disobey him, he will be just as happy to pull you up by your roots.

64. దేశముయొక్క యీ కొనమొదలు కొని ఆ కొనవరకును సమస్తజనములలోనికి యెహోవా నిన్ను చెదరగొట్టును. అక్కడ నీవైనను నీ పితరులైనను ఎరుగని కొయ్యవియు రాతివియునైన అన్యదేవతలను పూజింతువు.

64. Those of you that survive will be scattered to every nation on earth, and you will have to worship stone and wood idols that never helped you or your ancestors.

65. ఆ జనములలో నీకు నెమ్మది కలుగదు; నీ అరకాలికి విశ్రాంతి కలుగదు. అక్కడ యెహోవా హృదయ కంపమును నేత్రక్షీణతయు మనోవేదనయు నీకు కలుగజేయును.

65. You will be restless--always longing for home, but never able to return.

66. నీకు ఎల్లప్పుడు ప్రాణభయము కలిగి యుండును.

66. You will live in constant fear of death.

67. నీవు రేయింబగళ్లు భయపడుదువు. నీ ప్రాణము నీకు దక్కునను నమ్మకము నీకేమియు ఉండదు. నీ హృదయములో పుట్టు భయముచేతను, నీ కన్ను చూచువా అయ్యో యెప్పుడు సాయంకాలమగునా అనియు, సాయంకాలమున అయ్యో యెప్పుడు ఉదయమగునా అనియు అనుకొందువు.

67. Each morning you will wake up to such terrible sights that you will say, 'I wish it were night!' But at night you will be terrified and say, 'I wish it were day!'

68. మరియు నీవు మరి ఎప్పుడును దీనిని చూడకూడదని నేను నీతో చెప్పిన మార్గమున యెహోవా ఐగుప్తునకు ఓడలమీద నిన్ను మరల రప్పించును. అక్కడ మీరు దాసులగాను దాసీలగాను నీ శత్రువులకు మిమ్మును అమ్మ జూపు కొనువారుందురుగాని మిమ్మును కొనువాడొకడైన నుండడు.

68. I told you never to go back to Egypt. But now the LORD himself will load you on ships and send you back. Then you will even try to sell yourselves as slaves, but no one will be interested.
