1. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీరు బ్రతికి మీ పిత రుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశములోనికి పోయి స్వాధీనపరచుకొనునట్లు, మీరు అనుసరింపవలసిన విధులను కట్టడలను నేను మీకు బోధించుచున్నాను వినుడి.

1. Nowe therfore harken O Israel, vnto the ordinaunces and lawes which I teache you, for to do them, that so ye may lyue, and go in, & possesse the lande which the Lorde God of your fathers geueth you.

2. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞలను మీ కాజ్ఞాపించుచున్నాను. వాటిని గైకొనుటయందు నేను మీ కాజ్ఞాపించిన మాటతో దేనిని కలుపకూడదు, దానిలో నుండి దేనిని తీసివేయ కూడదు.

2. Ye shall put nothyng vnto the word which I commaunde you, neither shall you take ought from it, that ye may kepe the comaundementes of the Lord your God which I commaunde you.

3. బయల్పెయోరు విషయ ములో యెహోవా చేసినదానిని మీరు కన్నులార చూచితిరి గదా. బయల్పెయోరు వెంట వెళ్లిన ప్రతి మనుష్యుని నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ మధ్యను ఉండకుండ నాశనము చేసెను.

3. Your eyes haue seene what ye Lorde dyd agaynst Baal Peor: for all the men that folowed Baall Peor, the Lorde thy God hath destroyed from among you.

4. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను హత్తుకొనిన మీరందరును నేటివరకు సజీవులై యున్నారు.

4. But ye that cleaue vnto the Lord your god, are aliue euery one of you this day.

5. నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నా కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనబోవు దేశమున మీరాచరింపవలసిన కట్టడలను విధులను మీకు నేర్పితిని.

5. Beholde I haue taught you ordinaunces and lawes, such as the Lorde my God comaunded me, that ye should do euen so in the lande whither ye go to possesse it.

6. ఈ కట్టడలన్నిటిని మీరు గైకొని అనుసరింపవలెను. వాటినిగూర్చి విను జనముల దృష్టికి అదే మీకు జ్ఞానము, అదే మీకు వివేకము. వారు చూచినిశ్చయముగా ఈ గొప్ప జనము జ్ఞానవివే చనలు గల జనమని చెప్పుకొందురు.

6. Kepe them therfore and do them, for that is your wisdome and vnderstandyng in the syght of the people, that they may heare all these ordinaunces, and say: Surely it is a wise and vnderstandyng people, it is a great nation.

7. ఏలయనగా మనము ఆయనకు మొఱ పెట్టునప్పుడెల్ల మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మనకు సమీపముగానున్నట్టు మరి ఏ గొప్ప జనమునకు ఏ దేవుడు సమీపముగా నున్నాడు?

7. For what other nation is so great that gods come so nye vnto, as the Lorde our God is nye vnto vs in all thinges as oft as we call vnto hym?

8. మరియు నేడు నేను మీకు అప్పగించుచున్న యీ ధర్మశాస్త్ర మంతటిలో నున్న కట్టడలును నీతివిధులునుగల గొప్ప జనమేది?

8. Yea, and what nation is so great, that hath ordinaunces & lawes so righteous, as all this lawe which I set before you this day?

9. అయితే నీవు జాగ్రత్తపడుము; నీవు కన్నులార చూచినవాటిని మరువక యుండునట్లును, అవి నీ జీవితకాల మంతయు నీ హృదయములోనుండి తొలగిపోకుండు నట్లును, నీ మనస్సును బహు జాగ్రత్తగా కాపాడుకొనుము. నీ కుమారులకును నీ కుమారుల కుమారులకును వాటిని నేర్పి

9. Take heede to thy selfe therefore, and kepe thy soule diligently, that thou forget not the thynges which thyne eyes haue seene, and that they depart not out of thy heart all the dayes of thy life: but teache them thy sonnes, & thy sonnes sonnes.

10. నీవు హోరేబులో నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిలిచి యుండగా యెహోవానా యొద్దకు ప్రజలను కూర్చుము; వారు ఆ దేశముమీద బ్రదుకు దినములన్నియు నాకు భయపడ నేర్చుకొని, తమ పిల్లలకు నేర్పునట్లు వారికి నా మాటలను వినిపించెదనని ఆయన నాతో చెప్పిన దినమునుగూర్చి వారికి తెలుపుము.

10. Specially the day that thou stoodest before the Lorde thy God in Horeb, when the Lorde sayd vnto me: Gather me the people together, & I wyll make them heare my wordes, that they may learne to feare me all the dayes that they shall lyue vpon the earth, and that they may teache their children.

11. అప్పుడు మీరు సమీపించి ఆ కొండ దిగువను నిలిచితిరి. చీకటియు మేఘమును గాఢాంధకారమును కమ్మి ఆ కొండ ఆకాశమువరకు అగ్నితో మండుచుండగా

11. Ye came and stoode also vnder the mountayne, and the mountayne burnt with fire euen vnto the middes of heauen, and there was darknesse, cloudes, and mist.

12. యెహోవా ఆ అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి మీతో మాటలాడెను. మాటలధ్వని మీరు వింటిరిగాని యే స్వరూపమును మీరు చూడలేదు, స్వరము మాత్రమే వింటిరి.

12. And the Lorde spake vnto you out of the middes of the fire, and ye hearde the voyce of the wordes: but sawe no similitude, saue hearde a voyce only.

14. And the Lorde commaunded me that same season that I shoulde teache you ordinaunces & lawes, which ye ought to do in the lande whyther ye go to possesse it.

15. హోరేబులో యెహోవా అగ్నిజ్వాలల మధ్య నుండి మీతో మాటలాడిన దినమున మీరు ఏ స్వరూప మును చూడలేదు.

15. Take therfore good heede vnto your selues as pertaynyng vnto your soules, (for ye sawe no maner of image in the day that the Lorde spake vnto you in Horeb, out of the middes of fire)

16. కావున మీరు చెడిపోయి భూమి మీదనున్న యే జంతువు ప్రతిమనైనను

16. Lest ye marre your selues, & make you a grauen image, & picture of any maner of figure, whether it be the likenesse of man or woman.

17. ఆకాశమందు ఎగురు రెక్కలుగల యే పక్షి ప్రతిమనైనను

17. The likenesse of any maner of beast that is on the earth, or the likenesse of any maner fethered foule that fleeth in the ayre,

18. నేలమీద ప్రాకు ఏ పురుగు ప్రతిమనైనను భూమి క్రిందనున్న నీళ్లయందలి యే చేప ప్రతిమనైనను ఆడు ప్రతిమను గాని మగ ప్రతిమనుగాని, యే స్వరూపముగలిగిన విగ్రహమును మీకొరకు చేసికొనకుండునట్లును, ఆకాశము వైపు కన్నులెత్తి

18. Or the likenesse of any maner worme that creepeth on the earth, or the likenesse of any maner fishe that is in the waters beneath the earth:

19. సూర్య చంద్ర నక్షత్రములైన ఆకాశ సైన్యమును చూచి మరలుకొల్పబడి, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సర్వాకాశము క్రిందనున్న సమస్త ప్రజలకొరకు పంచి పెట్టినవాటికి నమస్కరించి వాటిని పూజింపకుండునట్లును మీరు బహు జాగ్రత్త పడుడి.

19. Yea, and lest thou lift vp thyne eyes vnto heauen, and when thou seest the sunne, the moone, and the starres, with all the hoast of heauen, shouldest be driuen to worship them, & serue them, and shouldest worship and serue the thynges, which the Lorde thy God hath made to serue all nations vnder the whole heauen.

20. యెహోవా మిమ్మును చేపట్టి నేడున్నట్లు మీరు తనకు స్వకీయ జనముగా నుండు టకై, ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి ఆ యినుపకొలిమిలోనుండి మిమ్మును రప్పించెను.

20. But the Lorde hath taken you, and brought you out of the iron furnace, euen out of Egypt, to be vnto hym a people & inheritaunce, as ye be this day.

21. మరియు యెహోవా మిమ్మును బట్టి నామీద కోపపడి నేను ఈ యొర్దాను దాటకూడ దనియు, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా స్వాస్థ్యముగా నీకిచ్చు చున్న యీ మంచి దేశములో ప్రవేశింపకూడదనియు ప్రమాణము చేసెను.

21. Furthermore, the Lorde was angry with me for your wordes, and sware that I shoulde not go ouer Iordane, and that I shoulde not go in vnto that good lande which the Lorde thy God geueth thee to inheritaunce.

22. కావున నేను ఈ యొర్దాను దాటకుండ ఈ దేశముననే చనిపోదును; మీరు దాటి ఆ మంచి దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనెదరు.

22. But I must dye in this lande, and shal not go ouer Iordane: But ye shall go ouer, and possesse that good lande.

23. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకు ఏర్పరచిన నిబంధనను మరచి, నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీ కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఏ స్వరూపము కలిగిన విగ్రహమునైనను చేసికొనకుండునట్లు మీరు జాగ్రత్తపడవలెను.

23. Take heede vnto your selues, that ye forget not ye appoyntment of the Lorde your God which he made with you, & that ye make you no grauen image or likenesse that the Lorde thy God hath forbidden thee.

24. ఏలయనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా దహించు అగ్నియు రోషముగల దేవుడునై యున్నాడు.

24. For the Lorde thy God, is a consumyng fire, and a ielous God.

25. మీరు పిల్లలను పిల్లల పిల్లలను కని ఆ దేశమందు బహు కాలము నివసించిన తరువాత మిమ్మును మీరు పాడుచేసి కొని, యే స్వరూపము కలిగిన విగ్రహము నైనను చేసి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు కోపము పుట్టించి ఆయన కన్నుల యెదుట కీడు చేసినయెడల

25. When thou shalt beget children, and thy children beget children, and shalt haue remayned long in the lande, ye do wickedly, & make any maner of grauen image, and worke euyll in the sight of the Lorde thy God, to prouoke hym to anger:

26. మీరు ఈ యొర్దాను దాటి స్వాధీనపరచుకొనబోవు దేశములో ఉండకుండ త్వర లోనే బొత్తిగా నశించిపోదురని భూమ్యాకాశములను మీమీద సాక్షులుగా ఉంచుచున్నాను. ఆ దేశమందు బహు దినములుండక మీరు బొత్తిగా నశించిపోదురు.

26. I call heauen and earth to recorde agaynst you this day, that ye shall shortly perishe from of ye lande whervnto you go ouer Iordane to possesse it: Ye shall not prolong your dayes therin, but shall vtterly be destroyed:

27. మరియు యెహోవా జనములలో మిమ్మును చెదరగొట్టును; యెహోవా ఎక్కడికి మిమ్మును తోలివేయునో అక్కడి జనములలో మీరు కొద్దిమందే మిగిలియుందురు.

27. And the Lord shall scatter you among the people, and ye shalbe left fewe in number among the nations whyther the Lorde shall bryng you.

28. అక్కడ మీరు మనుష్యుల చేతిపనియైన కఱ్ఱ రాతిదేవతలను పూజిం చెదరు; అవి చూడవు, వినవు, తినవు, వాసన చూడవు.

28. And there ye shall serue gods which are the worke of mans hande, wood and stone, which neither see, nor heare, nor eate, nor smell.

29. అయితే అక్కడనుండి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మీరు వెదకినయెడల, నీ పూర్ణహృదయముతోను నీ పూర్ణాత్మ తోను వెదకునప్పుడు ఆయన నీకు ప్రత్యక్షమగును.

29. If from thence thou shalt seke the Lorde thy God, thou shalt finde hym, if thou seke hym with all thy heart, and with all thy soule.

30. ఈ సంగతులన్నియు నీకు సంభవించిన తరువాత నీకు బాధ కలుగునప్పుడు అంత్యదినములలో నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవావైపు తిరిగి ఆయన మాట వినినయెడల

30. When thou art in tribulation, & when all these thynges that be here spoken of, are come vpon thee, euen in the latter dayes yf thou turne to the Lorde thy God, & shalt be obedient vnto his voyce:

31. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా కనికరముగల దేవుడు గనుక నిన్ను చెయ్యి విడువడు; నిన్ను నాశనముచేయడు; తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణము చేసిన నిబంధనను మరచిపోడు.

31. (For the Lorde thy God is a mercifull God) he wyll not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the appoyntment of thy fathers, which he sware vnto them.

32. దేవుడు భూమిమీద నరుని సృజించిన దినము మొదలు కొని నీకంటె ముందుగానుండిన మునుపటి దినములలో ఆకాశము యొక్క యీ దిక్కునుండి ఆకాశముయొక్క ఆ దిక్కువరకు ఇట్టి గొప్ప కార్యము జరిగెనా? దీనివంటి వార్త వినబడెనా? అని నీవు అడుగుము

32. For aske of the dayes that are past, which were before & since the day that God created man vpon the earth, and [aske] from the one side of heauen vnto the other, if euer there came to passe such a great thyng, or whether any such lyke thyng hath ben hearde as this.

33. నీవు దేవుని స్వరము అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి మాటలాడుట వినినట్లు మరి ఏ జనమైనను విని బ్రదికెనా?

33. Dyd euer any people heare the voyce of God speakyng out of the middes of a fire, as thou hast hearde, and yet lyued?

34. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఐగుప్తులో మా కన్నులయెదుట చేసినవాటన్నిటిచొప్పున ఏ దేవుడైనను శోధనలతోను సూచక క్రియలతోను మహ త్కార్యములతోను యుద్ధముతోను బాహుబలముతోను చాచిన చేతితోను మహా భయంకర కార్యములతోను ఎప్పుడైనను వచ్చి ఒక జనములోనుండి తనకొరకు ఒక జనమును తీసికొన యత్నము చేసెనా?

34. Or hath God assayed to go and take hym a people from among nations, by temptations, by signes, by wonders, by warre, by a mightie hand, by a stretched out arme, & by great sightes, accordyng vnto all that the Lorde your God dyd vnto you in Egypt before your eyes?

35. అయితే యెహోవా దేవుడనియు, ఆయన తప్ప మరి యొకడు లేడనియు నీవు తెలిసికొనునట్లు అది నీకు చూపబడెను.

35. Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest knowe that the Lord is God, and that there is none other but he.

36. నీకు బోధించుటకు ఆయన ఆకాశమునుండి తన స్వర మును నీకు వినిపించెను; భూమిమీద తన గొప్ప అగ్నిని నీకు చూపినప్పుడు ఆ అగ్ని మధ్యనుండి ఆయన మాట లను నీవు వింటిని.

36. Out of heauen he made thee heare his voyce, that he might instruct thee: & vpon earth he shewed thee his great fire, and thou heardest his worde out of the middes of the fire.

37. ఆయన నీ పితరులను ప్రేమించెను గనుక వారి తరువాత వారి సంతానమును ఏర్పరచుకొనెను.

37. And because he loued thy fathers, he chose their seede after them, & brought thee out in his sight with his mightie power out of Egypt,

38. నీకంటె బలమైన గొప్ప జనములను నీ ముందరనుండి వెళ్ల గొట్టి నిన్ను ప్రవేశపెట్టి ఆయన నేడు చేయుచున్నట్లు వారి దేశమును నీకు స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చుటకై నీకు తోడు గానుండి ఐగుప్తులోనుండి తన మహాబలము చేత నిన్ను వెలుపలికి రప్పించెను.

38. To thrust out nations great and mightier then thou before thee, and to bryng thee in, and to geue thee their lande to inheritaunce, as it is come to passe this day.

39. కాబట్టి పైనున్న ఆకాశమందును క్రిందనున్న భూమియందును యెహోవాయే దేవుడనియు, మరియొక దేవుడు లేడనియు నేడు నీవు ఎరిగి జ్ఞాపకము నకు తెచ్చుకొనుము
1 కోరింథీయులకు 8:4

39. Understande therfore this day, and consider it in thine heart, that the Lorde he is God in heauen aboue, and vpon the earth beneath, neither is there any other.

40. మరియు నీకును నీ తరువాత నీ సంతానపు వారికిని క్షేమము కలుగుటకై నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సర్వకాలము నీకిచ్చుచున్న దేశములో నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవగునట్లు నేడు నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన కట్టడలను ఆజ్ఞలను నీవు గైకొనవలెను.

40. Thou shalt kepe therefore his ordinaunces and his commaundementes which I commaunde thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy dayes vpon ye earth, which the Lorde thy God geueth thee for euer.

41. అంతకుముందొకడు పగపట్టక పరాకున తన పొరుగు వాని చంపినయెడల

41. Then Moyses seuered three cities on the other side Iordane towarde the sunne rysyng:

42. చంపినవాడు పారిపోవుటకు మోషే తూర్పుదిక్కున, యొర్దాను ఇవతల మూడు పురములను వేరుపరచెను. అట్టివాడెవడైనను ఆ పురములలో దేని లోనికినైనను పారిపోయి బ్రదుకును.

42. That he shoulde flee thyther which had kylled his neyghbour vnwares, & hated hym not in tyme past, and therfore shoulde flee vnto one of the same cities, and lyue:

43. అవేవనగా రూబే నీయులకు మైదానపు దేశారణ్యమందలి బేసెరును, గాదీ యులకు గిలాదులో నున్న రామోతును, మనష్షీయులకు బాషానులోనున్న గోలాను అనునవే.

43. Namely Bezer in the wildernesse, euen in the playne countrey of the tribe of Ruben, and Ramoth in Gilead, of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Basan, of the tribe of Manasse.

44. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకిచ్చిన ధర్మశాస్త్రము ఇది.

44. And so this is the lawe which Moyses set before the children of Israel:

45. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వెలుపలికి వచ్చు చుండగా

45. These are the witnesse, statutes, and ordinaunces, which Moyses tolde the children of Israel after they came out of Egypt,

46. యొర్దాను ఇవతల బేత్పయోరు ఎదుటి లోయలో హెష్బోనులో నివసించిన అమోరీ యుల రాజైన సీహోనుదేశమందు

46. On the other side Iordane, in the valley ouer agaynst the house of Peor, in the lande of Sehon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Hesbon, whom Moyses & the children of Israel smote, after they were come out of Egypt,

47. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు నియ మించిన శాసనములు కట్టడలు న్యాయ విధులు ఇవి.

47. And possessed his lande, and the lande of Og kyng of Basan, two kynges of the Amorites, which were on the other side Iordane towarde the sunne rising,

48. మోషేయు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులును ఐగుప్తులోనుండి వచ్చుచు ఆ సీహోనును హతము చేసి అతని దేశమును, యొర్దాను ఇవతల ఉదయదిక్కున నున్న బాషాను రాజైన ఓగుయొక్క దేశమును, అర్నోను ఏటి దరినున్న అరోయేరు మొదలుకొని హెర్మోనను సీయోను కొండవరకున్న అమో రీయుల యిద్దరు రాజులదేశమును,

48. From Aroer which is by the bancke of the riuer Arnon, vnto mount Sion which is Hermon,

49. పిస్గా యూటలకు దిగువగా అరాబా సముద్రమువరకు తూర్పుదిక్కున యొర్దాను అవతల ఆరాబా ప్రదేశమంతయు స్వాధీన పరచు కొనిరి.

49. And all the playne on the other side Iordane eastwarde, euen vnto the sea which is in the playne vnder ye springes of the hyll.
