1. నీవును నీ కుమారుడును నీ కుమారుని కుమారుడును

1. These are the comaundemetes, ordinaunces, and lawes, which the Lorde your God commaunded me to teache you, that ye might do them in the lande whither ye go to possesse it:

2. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి, నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన కట్టడలన్నియు ఆజ్ఞలన్నియు నీ జీవిత దినములన్ని టను గైకొనుచు నీవు దీర్ఘాయుష్మంతుడవగునట్లు మీరు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనుటకు ఏరు దాటి వెళ్లుచున్న దేశమందు మీరు జరుపుకొనుటకు మీకు బోధింపవలెనని మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన ధర్మమంతయు అనగా కట్ట డలు విధులు ఇవే.

2. Namely, that thou mightest feare the Lord thy God, & kepe all his ordinaunces and his commaundementes which I commaunde thee, thou & thy sonne, & thy sonnes sonne all the dayes of thy lyfe: that thy dayes may be prolonged.

3. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలూ, నీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పిన ప్రకారము పాలు తేనెలు ప్రవహించు దేశములో మేలు కలిగి బహుగా అభివృద్ధి నొందునట్లు నీవు వాటిని విని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను.

3. Heare therfore O Israel, and take heede that thou do it, that it may go well with thee, & that ye may encrease mightily, euen as the Lorde God of thy fathers hath promised thee, a lande that floweth with mylke and honie.

4. ఇశ్రాయేలూ వినుము. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా అద్వితీయుడగు యెహోవా.

4. Heare O Israel, the Lorde our God is Lorde only.

5. నీ పూర్ణహృదయముతోను నీ పూర్ణాత్మతోను నీ పూర్ణశక్తితోను నీ దేవుడైన యెహో వాను ప్రేమింపవలెను.

5. And thou shalt loue the Lorde thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soule, and with all thy myght.

6. నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఈ మాటలు నీ హృదయములో ఉండవలెను.

6. And these wordes which I commaunde thee this day, shalbe in thine heart:

7. నీవు నీ కుమా రులకు వాటిని అభ్యసింపజేసి, నీ యింట కూర్చుండునప్పు డును త్రోవను నడుచునప్పుడును పండుకొనునప్పుడును లేచునప్పుడును వాటినిగూర్చి మాటలాడవలెను; సూచ నగా వాటిని నీ చేతికి కట్టు కొనవలెను.

7. And thou shalt shewe them vnto thy children, and shalt talke of them when thou art at home in thine house, and as thou walkest by the way, & when thou lyest downe, and when thou risest vp.

8. అవి నీ కన్నుల నడుమ బాసికమువలె ఉండవలెను.

8. And thou shalt binde them for a signe vpon thine hande, and they shalbe as frontlettes betweene thine eyes,

9. నీ యింటి ద్వార బంధములమీదను నీ గవునులమీదను వాటిని వ్రాయవలెను.

9. And thou shalt write them vpon the postes of thy house, & vpon thy gates.

10. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ పితరులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో చేసిన ప్రమాణమునుబట్టి నిన్ను ఆ దేశములో ప్రవేశపెట్టి, నీవు కట్టని గొప్పవగు మంచి పురములను

10. And when the Lorde thy God hath brought thee into the lande which he sware vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Isahac, and Iacob, and shall geue to thee great & goodly cities which thou buildedst not,

11. నీవు నింపని మంచి ద్రవ్యముల చేత నింప బడిన ఇండ్లను, నీవు త్రవ్వకపోయినను త్రవ్వబడిన బావు లను, నీవు నాటని ద్రాక్షతోటలను ఒలీవల తోటలను నీ కిచ్చిన తరువాత నీవు తిని తృప్తి పొందినప్పుడు

11. Houses full of all maner of goodes which thou filledst not, & welles digged which thou diggedst not, vineyardes and oliue trees which thou plantedst not, and when thou hast eaten & art full:

12. దాసుల గృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి నిన్ను రప్పించిన యెహోవాను మరువకుండ నీవు జాగ్రత్తపడుము.

12. Then beware lest thou forget ye Lorde which brought thee out of the lande of Egypt from the house of bondage.

13. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి ఆయనను సేవించి ఆయన పేరట ప్రమాణము చేయవలెను.

13. Thou shalt feare the Lorde thy God and serue hym, and shalt sweare by his name.

14. మీరు ఇతర దేవతలను, అనగా మీ చుట్టునున్న జనముల దేవతలను సేవింపకూడదు.

14. See that ye walke not after straunge gods, the gods of the nations which are about you:

15. నీ మధ్యను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా రోషముగల దేవుడు గనుక నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని ఒకవేళ నీ మీద రగులుకొని దేశములో నుండ కుండ నిన్ను నశింపజేయును.

15. (For the Lorde thy God is a ielous God among you) lest the countenaunce of the Lorde thy God be moued to wrath agaynst thee, and destroy thee from the face of the earth.

16. మీరు మస్సాలో మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను శోధించి నట్లు ఆయనను శోధింపకూడదు.

16. Ye shall not tempt the Lorde your God, as ye dyd in the place of temptation.

17. మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞలను, అనగా ఆయన నీకు నియమించిన శాసనములను కట్టడలను జాగ్రత్తగా ఆచరింపవలెను.

17. But you shall diligently kepe the commaundementes of the Lord your God, & his testimonies, and his ordinaunces which he hath commaunded thee:

18. నీకు మేలు కలుగునట్లును, నీ యెదుటనుండి నీ సమస్త శత్రువులను వెళ్లగొట్టెదనని

18. And thou shalt do that which is right & good in the sight of the Lorde: that thou mayst prosper, and that thou mayst go in, & possesse that good lande which the Lorde sware vnto thy fathers,

19. యెహోవా చెప్పిన ప్రకా రము నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన ఆ మంచి దేశములో నీవు ప్రవేశించి దాని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లును, నీవు యెహోవా దృష్టికి యథార్థమైనదియు ఉత్తమమైనదియు చేయవలెను.

19. To cast out all thine enemies before thee, as the Lorde hath sayde.

20. ఇకమీదట నీ కుమారుడుమన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకాజ్ఞాపించిన శాసనములు కట్టడలు విధులు ఏవని నిన్ను అడుగునప్పుడు

20. And when thy sonne asketh thee in tyme to come, saying: What meaneth these testimonies, ordinaunces, and lawes, which the Lorde our God hath commaunded you?

21. నీవు నీ కుమారునితో ఇట్ల నుముమనము ఐగుప్తులో ఫరోకుదాసులమైయుండగా యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత ఐగుప్తులోనుండి మనలను రప్పించెను.

21. Then thou shalt say vnto thy sonne: We were Pharaos bondmen in Egypt, and the Lorde brought vs out of Egypt with a mightie hande:

22. మరియు యెహోవా ఐగుప్తుమీదను ఫరో మీదను అతని యింటివారందరి మీదను బాధకరములైన గొప్ప సూచకక్రియలను అద్భుతములను మన కన్నుల యెదుట కనుపరచి,

22. And the Lorde shewed signes, and wonders, great and euyll vpon Egypt, vpon Pharao, and vpon all his householde, before our eyes:

23. తాను మన పితరులతో ప్రమాణము చేసిన దేశమును మనకిచ్చి మనలను దానిలో ప్రవేశ పెట్టుటకు అక్కడ నుండి మనలను రప్పించెను.

23. And brought vs out from thence, to bryng vs in and to geue vs the lande which he sware vnto our fathers.

24. మనకు నిత్యము మేలు కలుగుటకై యెహోవా నేటివలె మనలను బ్రదికించు నట్లు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు భయపడి యీ కట్టడల నన్నిటిని గైకొనవలెనని మన కాజ్ఞాపించెను.

24. And he hath commaunded vs to do all these ordinaunces, & to feare the Lorde our God for our wealth all the dayes of our lyfe, as it is come to passe this day.

25. మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా మన కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఆయన సన్నిధిని ఈ సమస్తమైన ఆజ్ఞలను అనుసరించి మనము నడుచు కొనునప్పుడు మనకు నీతి కలుగును.

25. Moreouer, this shalbe our righteousnesse before the Lorde our God, if we take heede, & kepe all these commaundementes, as he hath commaunded vs.
