1. కావున క్రీస్తునందు ఏ హెచ్చరికయైనను, ప్రేమ వలన ఆదరణయైనను, ఆత్మయందు ఏ సహవాసమైనను, ఏ దయారసమైనను, వాత్సల్యమైనను ఉన్నయెడల

1. Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and acts of compassion,

2. మీరు ఏకమనస్కులగునట్లుగా ఏకప్రేమకలిగి, యేక భావముగలవారుగా ఉండి, ఒక్కదానియందే మనస్సుంచుచు నా సంతోషమును సంపూర్ణము చేయుడి.

2. fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit, intending the same purpose,

3. కక్షచేతనైనను వృథాతిశయముచేతనైనను ఏమియు చేయక, వినయమైన మనస్సుగలవారై యొకనినొకడు తనకంటె యోగ్యుడని యెంచుచు

3. doing nothing according to selfish ambition or conceit, but with humility, regarding one another as being better than yourselves.

4. మీలో ప్రతివాడును తన సొంతకార్యములను మాత్రమేగాక యితరుల కార్యములను కూడ చూడవలెను.

4. Let each of you look out not only for his own concerns, but also for the concerns of others.

5. క్రీస్తుయేసునకు కలిగిన యీ మనస్సు మీరును కలిగియుండుడి.

5. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,

6. ఆయన దేవుని స్వరూపము కలిగినవాడైయుండి, దేవునితో సమానముగా ఉండుట విడిచిపెట్టకూడని భాగ్యమని యెంచుకొనలేదు గాని

6. who, existing in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God,

7. మనుష్యుల పోలికగా పుట్టి, దాసుని స్వరూపమును ధరించుకొని, తన్ను తానే రిక్తునిగా చేసికొనెను.

7. but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming to be in the likeness of men.

8. మరియు, ఆయన ఆకారమందు మనుష్యుడుగా కనబడి, మరణము పొందునంతగా, అనగా సిలువమరణము పొందు నంతగా విధేయత చూపినవాడై, తన్నుతాను తగ్గించుకొనెను.

8. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself, becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9. అందుచేతను పరలోకమందున్నవారిలో గాని, భూమిమీద ఉన్నవారిలో గాని,

9. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him, and has graciously given Him a name which is above every name,

10. భూమి క్రింద ఉన్నవారిలో గాని, ప్రతివాని మోకాలును యేసునామమున వంగునట్లును,

10. that at the name of Jesus every knee may bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth,

11. ప్రతివాని నాలుకయు తండ్రియైన దేవుని మహిమార్థమై యేసుక్రీస్తు ప్రభువని ఒప్పుకొనునట్లును, దేవుడు ఆయనను అధికముగా హెచ్చించి, ప్రతి నామమునకు పైనామమును ఆయనకు అనుగ్రహించెను.

11. and [that] every tongue may confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12. కాగా నా ప్రియులారా, మీరెల్లప్పుడును విధేయులై యున్న ప్రకారము, నాయెదుట ఉన్నప్పుడు మాత్రమే గాక మరి యెక్కువగా నేను మీతో లేని యీ కాలమందును, భయముతోను వణకుతోను మీ సొంతరక్షణను కొనసాగించుకొనుడి.

12. So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

13. ఎందుకనగా మీరు ఇచ్ఛయించుట కును కార్యసిద్ధి కలుగజేసికొనుటకును, తన దయాసంకల్పము నెరవేరుటకై మీలో కార్యసిద్ధి కలుగజేయువాడు దేవుడే.

13. for it is God who is working in you, both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

14. మీరు మూర్ఖమైన వక్రజనము మధ్య, నిరపరాధులును నిష్కళంకులును అనింద్యులునైన దేవుని కుమారులగునట్లు,

14. Do all things without grumbling and disputing,

15. సణుగులును సంశయములును మాని, సమస్త కార్యములను చేయుడి.

15. in order that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation, among whom you shine as light bearers in the world,

16. అట్టి జనము మధ్యను మీరు జీవవాక్యమును చేతపట్టుకొని, లోకమందు జ్యోతులవలె కనబడు చున్నారు. అందువలన నేను వ్యర్థముగా పరుగెత్త లేదనియు, నేను పడిన కష్టము నిష్‌ప్రయోజనము కాలేదనియు క్రీస్తుదినమున నాకు అతిశయకారణము కలుగును

16. holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.

17. మరియు మీ విశ్వాసయాగములోను దాని సంబంధమైన సేవలోను నేను పానార్పణముగా పోయబడినను, నేనా నందించి మీ యందరితోకూడ సంతోషింతును.

17. But even if I am being poured upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice; [yea], and I rejoice with you all.

18. ఇటువలెనే మీరును ఆనందించి నాతోకూడ సంతోషించుడి.

18. For the same reason you also rejoice and rejoice together with me.

19. నేనును మీ క్షేమము తెలిసికొని ధైర్యము తెచ్చు కొను నిమిత్తము తిమోతిని శీఘ్రముగా మీయొద్దకు పంపుటకు ప్రభువైన యేసునందు నిరీక్షించుచున్నాను.

19. Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you shortly, that I also may be encouraged when I learn of your circumstances.

20. మీ క్షేమవిషయమై నిజముగా చింతించువాడు అతని వంటివాడెవడును నాయొద్ద లేడు.

20. For I have no one like-minded, who will be genuinely concerned about your circumstances.

21. అందరును తమ సొంత కార్యములనే చూచుకొనుచున్నారు గాని, యేసుక్రీస్తు కార్యములను చూడరు.

21. For all seek their own interests, not the things of Christ Jesus.

22. అతని యోగ్యత మీరెరుగు దురు. తండ్రికి కుమారుడేలాగు సేవచేయునో ఆలాగే అతడు నాతోకూడ సువార్త వ్యాపకము నిమిత్తము సేవ చేసెను.

22. And you know his approved character, that as a child with his father he served as a slave for the gospel.

23. కాబట్టి నాకేమి సంభవింపనైయున్నదో చూచిన వెంటనే అతనిని పంపవలెనని అనుకొనుచున్నాను.

23. Therefore I hope to send him at once, as soon as I may see how my circumstances go.

24. నేనును శీఘ్రముగా వచ్చెదనని ప్రభువునుబట్టి నమ్ము చున్నాను.

24. But I have been persuaded in the Lord that I myself will also come shortly.

25. మరియు నా సహోదరుడును, జతపనివాడును, నాతోడి యోధుడును, మీ దూతయు, నా అవసరమునకు ఉపచరించిన వాడునైన ఎపఫ్రొదితును మీ యొద్దకు పంపుట అగత్యమని అనుకొంటిని.

25. Yet I considered it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, and your messenger and minister to my needs;

26. అతడురోగి యాయెనని మీరు వింటిరి గనుక అతడు మిమ్మునందరిని చూడ మిగుల అపేక్షగలవాడై విచారపడుచుండెను.

26. since he was longing for you all, and was distressed because you had heard that he was sick.

27. నిజముగా అతడు రోగియై చావునకు సిద్ధమై యుండెను గాని దేవుడతనిని కనికరించెను; అతనిమాత్రమే గాక నాకు దుఃఖముమీద దుఃఖము కలుగకుండుటకై నన్నును కనికరించెను.

27. For indeed he was sick, [and] near death; but God showed mercy [on] him, and not only on him but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

28. కాబట్టి మీరు అతనిని చూచి మరల సంతోషించు నిమిత్తమును నా కున్న దుఃఖము తగ్గు నిమిత్తమును అతనిని మరి శీఘ్రముగా పంపితిని.

28. Therefore I sent him more eagerly, in order that when you see him again you may have joy, and I may be less anxious.

29. నాయెడల మీ ఉపచర్యలో ఉన్న కొదువను తీర్చుటకై అతడు తన ప్రాణమునైనను లక్ష్యపెట్టక క్రీస్తుయొక్క పని నిమిత్తము చావునకు సిద్ధమైయుండెను

29. Receive him therefore in the Lord with the utmost joy, and hold such [ones] in honor;

30. గనుక పూర్ణా నందముతో ప్రభువునందు అతనిని చేర్చుకొని అట్టివారిని ఘనపరచుడి.

30. because for the work of Christ he drew near unto death, being careless with his life, in order that he might fill up that which was lacking in your service to me.
