1. యూదా వంశస్థుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున చీట్లవలన వచ్చినవంతు ఎదోము సరి హద్దువరకును, అనగా దక్షిణదిక్కున సీను అరణ్యపు దక్షిణ దిగంతము వరకును ఉండెను.

1. This then was the lot of the tribe of the sons of Judah by their families: to the border of Edom, the wilderness of Zin southward, in the extreme south.

2. దక్షిణమున వారి సరిహద్దు ఉప్పు సముద్రతీరమున దక్షిణదిశ చూచుచున్న అఖాతము మొదలుకొని వ్యాపించెను.

2. And their south border was from the end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that looks southward.

3. అది అక్రబ్బీము నెక్కు చోటికి దక్షిణముగా బయలుదేరి సీనువరకు పోయి కాదేషు బర్నేయకు దక్షిణముగా ఎక్కి హెస్రోనువరకు సాగి అద్దారు ఎక్కి కర్కాయువైపు తిరిగి

3. And it went out southward to the ascent of Akrabbim, and passed on to Zin, and went up on the south of Kadesh-barnea, and went on to Hezron, and went up toward Adar, and turned toward Karkaa,

4. అస్మోనువరకు సాగి ఐగుప్తు ఏటివరకు వ్యాపించెను. ఆ తట్టు సరిహద్దు సముద్రమువరకు వ్యాపించెను, అది మీకు దక్షిణపు సరిహద్దు.

4. and passed on to Azmon, and went out by the torrent of Egypt. And the boundary line was at the Sea. This shall be your south border.

5. And the east border, the Salt Sea to the end of Jordan, and their border in the north quarter was from the bay of the sea at the uttermost part of Jordan.

6. ఆ సరిహద్దు బేత్‌ హోగ్లావరకు సాగి బేతరాబా ఉత్తర దిక్కువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాతివరకు వ్యాపించెను.

6. And the border went up to Beth-hoglah, and passed along by the north of Beth-arabah. And the border went up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben;

7. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆకోరులోయనుండి దెబీరువరకును ఏటికి దక్షిణతీరముననున్న అదుమీ్మము నెక్కుచోటికి ఎదురుగా నున్న గిల్గాలునకు అభిముఖముగా ఉత్తరదిక్కు వైపునకును వ్యాపించెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఏన్‌షే మెషు నీళ్లవరకు వ్యాపించెను. దాని కొన ఏన్‌రోగేలునొద్ద నుండెను.

7. And the border went up toward Debir from the valley of Achor, and so northward, looking toward Gilgal, before the going up to Adummim, which is on the south side of the river. And the border passed toward the waters of En-shemesh, and its boundary was at En-rogel.

8. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట బెన్‌హిన్నోములోయ మార్గముగా దక్షిణదిక్కున యెబూసీయుల దేశమువరకు, అనగా యెరూషలేమువరకు నెక్కెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమట హిన్నోము లోయకు ఎదురుగానున్న కొండ నడికొప్పువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అది ఉత్తర దిక్కున రెఫాయీయుల లోయ తుదనున్నది.

8. And the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom to the south side of the Jebusite. It is Jerusalem. And the border went up to the top of the mountain that lies before the valley of Hinnom westward, at the end of the Valley of the Giants northward.

9. ఆ సరిహద్దు ఆ కొండ నడికొప్పునుండియు నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్లయూటయొద్దనుండియు ఏఫ్రోనుకొండ పురములవరకు వ్యాపించెను. ఆ సరిహద్దు కిర్యత్యారీమను బాలావరకు సాగెను.

9. And the border was drawn from the top of the hill to the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron. And the border was drawn to Baalah; it is Kirjath-jearim.

10. ఆ సరిహద్దు పడమరగా బాలానుండి శేయీరు కొండకు వంపుగా సాగి కెసాలోనను యారీముకొండ యొక్క ఉత్తరపు వైపునకుదాటి బేత్షెమెషువరకు దిగి తిమ్నావైపునకు వ్యాపించెను.

10. And the border went around from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and passed along to the side of mount Jearim; it is Chesalon, on the north side, and went down to Bethshemesh, and passed on to Timnah.

11. ఉత్తరదిక్కున ఆ సరిహద్దు ఎక్రోనువరకు సాగి అక్కడనుండిన సరిహద్దు షిక్రోను వరకును పోయి బాలాకొండను దాటి యబ్నెయేలువరకును ఆ సరిహద్దు సముద్రమువరకును వ్యాపించెను.

11. And the border went to the side of Ekron northward, and the border was drawn to Shikkeron and passed along to Mount Baalah, and went out to Jabneel. And the boundary line was at the Sea.

12. పడమటి సరిహద్దు గొప్ప సముద్రపు సరిహద్దువరకు వ్యాపించెను. యూదా సంతతివారి వంశముల చొప్పున వారి సరిహద్దు ఇదే.

12. And the west border was to the Great Sea, and the coast. This is the border of the sons of Judah all around according to their families.

13. యెహోవా యెహోషువకు ఇచ్చిన ఆజ్ఞచొప్పున యూదా వంశస్థుల మధ్యను యెఫున్నె కుమారుడైన కాలేబునకు ఒక వంతును, అనగా అనాకీయుల వంశకర్త యైన అర్బాయొక్క పట్టణమును ఇచ్చెను, అది హెబ్రోను.

13. And he gave a part among the sons of Judah to Caleb the son of Jephunneh, according to the command of Jehovah to Joshua, even the city of Arba the father of Anak; it is Hebron.

14. అక్కడనుండి కాలేబు అనాకుయొక్క ముగ్గురు కుమారు లైన షెషయి అహీమాను తల్మయి అను అనాకీయుల వంశీ యులను వెళ్లగొట్టి వారిదేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనెను.

14. And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai, and Ahiman, and Talmai, the sons of Anak.

15. అక్కడనుండి అతడు దెబీరు నివాసులమీదికి పోయెను. అంతకుముందు దెబీరు పేరు కిర్యత్సేఫెరు.

15. And he went up from there to those who lived in Debir. And the name of Debir before was Kirjath-sepher.

16. కాలేబుకిర్యత్సేఫెరును పట్టుకొని దానిని కొల్లపెట్టిన వానికి నా కుమార్తెయైన అక్సాను ఇచ్చి పెండ్లిచేసెదనని చెప్పగా

16. And Caleb said, He who smites Kirjath-sepher, and takes it, I will give my daughter Achsah to him for a wife.

17. కాలేబు సహోదరుడును కనజు కుమారుడునైన ఒత్నీ యేలు దాని పట్టుకొనెను గనుక అతడు తన కుమార్తెయైన అక్సాను అతనికిచ్చి పెండ్లిచేసెను.

17. And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, took it. And he gave him Achsah his daughter for a wife.

18. And it happened as she came, she moved him to ask a field from her father. And she dismounted from the ass. And Caleb said to her, What do you desire?

19. She answered, Give me a blessing, for you have given me a south land. Give me also springs of water. And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.

20. యూదా వంశస్థుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యమిది.

20. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the sons of Judah according to their families.

21. దక్షిణదిక్కున ఎదోము సరిహద్దువరకు యూదా వంశస్థుల గోత్రముయొక్క పట్టణ ములు ఏవేవనగా కబ్సెయేలు

21. And the furthest cities of the tribe of the sons of Judah toward the coast of Edom southward were Kabzeel, and Eder, and Jagur,

22. ఏదెరు యా గూరు కీనాది

22. and Kinah, and Dimonah, and Adadah,

23. మోనా అదాదా కెదెషు

23. and Kedesh, and Hazor, and Ithnan,

24. హాసోరు యిత్నాను జీఫు

24. Ziph, and Telem, and Bealoth,

25. తెలెము బెయాలోతు క్రొత్త

25. and Hazor, Hadattah, and Kerioth-Hezron, which is Hazor,

26. హాసోరు కెరీయోతు హెస్రోను

26. Amam, and Shema, and Moladah,

27. అనబడిన హాసోరు అమాము

27. and Hazar-gaddah, and Heshmon, and Beth-palet,

28. షేమ మోలాదా హసర్గద్దా హెష్మోను

28. and Hazar-shual, and Beer-sheba, and Bizjothjah,

29. బేత్పెలెతు హసర్షువలు బెయేర్షెబా

29. Baalah, and Iim, and Azem,

30. బిజ్యోత్యాబాలా ఈయ్యె ఎజెము

30. and Eltolad, and Chesil, and Hormah,

31. ఎల్తోలదు కెసీలు హోర్మా సిక్లగు మద్మన్నా

31. and Ziklag, and Madmannah, and Sansannah,

32. సన్సన్నా లెబాయోతు షిల్హిము అయీను రిమ్మోను అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఈ పట్ట ణములన్నియు ఇరువది తొమ్మిది.

32. and Lebaoth, and Shilhim, and Ain, and Rimmon. All the cities are twenty-nine, with their villages.

33. మైదానములో ఏవనగా ఎష్తాయోలు జొర్యా అష్నా

33. In the low country were Eshtaol, and Zoreah, and Ashnah,

34. జానోహ ఏన్గన్నీము తప్పూయ ఏనాము

34. and Zanoah, and En-gannim, Tappuah, and Enam,

35. యర్మూతు అదు ల్లాము శోకో అజేకా

35. Jarmuth, and Adullam, Socoh, and Azekah,

36. షరాయిము అదీతాయిము గెదేరా గెదెరోతాయిము అనునవి. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదు నాలుగు పట్టణములు.

36. and Sharaim, and Adithaim, and Gederah, and Gederothaim; fourteen cities with their villages;

37. సెనాను హదాషా మిగ్దోల్గాదు

37. Zenan, and Hadashah, and Migdal-gad,

38. దిలాను మిస్పే యొక్తయేలు

38. and Dilean, and Mizpeh, and Joktheel,

39. లాకీషు బొస్కతు ఎగ్లోను

39. Lachish, and Bozkath, and Eglon,

40. కబ్బోను లహ్మాసు కిత్లిషు గెదెరోతు

40. and Cabbon, and Lahmam, and Kithlish,

41. బేత్దాగోను నయమా మక్కేదా అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదియారు పట్టణములు.

41. and Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah; sixteen cities with their villages;

42. లిబ్నా ఎతెరు ఆషాను యిప్తా అష్నానెసీబు

42. Libnah, and Ether, and Ashan,

43. కెయీలా అక్జీబు మారేషా అనునవి,

43. and Jiphtah, and Ashnah, and Nezib,

44. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా తొమ్మిది పట్టణములు. ఎక్రోను దాని గ్రామములును పల్లెలును,

44. and Keilah, and Achzib, and Mareshah; nine cities and their villages;

45. ఎక్రోను మొదలుకొని సముద్రమువరకు అష్డోదు ప్రాంత మంతయు,

45. Ekron with its town and its villages;

46. దాని పట్టణములును గ్రామములును, ఐగుప్తు ఏటివరకు పెద్ద సముద్రమువరకును అష్డోదును,

46. from Ekron even to the Sea, all that were at hand by Ashdod, and their villages;

47. గాజాను వాటి ప్రాంతమువరకును వాటి గ్రామములును పల్లెలును,

47. Ashdod with its towns and its villages; Gaza with its towns and its villages, to the river of Egypt, and the Great Sea, and its coast.

48. మన్య ప్రదేశమందు షామీరు యత్తీరు

48. And in the mountains, Shamir, and Jattir, and Socoh,

49. శోకో దన్నా కిర్య త్సన్నా

49. and Dannah, and Kirjath-sannah (which is Debir);

50. అను దెబీరు అనాబు ఎష్టెమో

50. and Anab, and Eshtemoh, and Anim,

51. ఆనీము గోషెను హోలోను గిలో అనునవి,

51. and Goshen, and Holon, and Giloh; eleven cities and their villages;

52. వాటి గ్రామములు పోగా పదకొండు పట్టణములు.

52. Arab, and Dumah, and Eshean,

53. ఆరాబు దూమా ఎషాను

53. and Janum, and Beth-tappuah, and Aphekah,

54. యానీము బేత్తపూయ అఫెకా హుమ్తా కిర్యతర్బా అను హెబ్రోను సీయోరు అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా తొమ్మిది పట్టణములు.

54. and Humtah, and Kirjath-arba; it is Hebron; and Zior; nine cities and their villages;

55. మాయోను కర్మెలు జీఫు యుట్టయెజ్రెయేలు

55. Maon, Carmel, and Ziph, and Juttah,

56. యొక్దె యాము జానోహ

56. and Jezreel, and Jokdeam, and Zanoah,

57. కయీను గిబియా తిమ్నా అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పది పట్టణములు.

57. Cain, Gibeah, and Timnah; ten cities and their villages;

58. హల్హూలు బేత్సూరు గెదోరు మారాతు

58. Halhul, Beth-zur, and Gedor,

59. బేతనోతు ఎల్తెకోననునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణములు.

59. and Maarath, and Beth-anoth, and Eltekon; six cities and their villages;

60. కిర్యత్యారీ మనగా కిర్యత్బయలు రబ్బా అనునవి, వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా రెండు పట్టణములు.

60. Kirjath-baal; it is Kirjath-jearim; and Rabbah; two cities and their villages.

61. అరణ్యమున బేతరాబా మిద్దీను సెకాకా నిబ్షాను యీల్మెలహు ఎన్గెదీ అనునవి,

61. In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, and Secacah,

62. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా ఆరు పట్టణములు.

62. and Nibshan, and the city of Salt, and En-gedi; six cities and their villages.

63. యెరూషలేములో నివసించిన యెబూసీ యులను యూదా వంశస్థులు తోలివేయ లేకపోయిరి గనుక యెబూసీయులు నేటివరకు యెరూషలేములో యూదా వంశస్థులయొద్ద నివసించుచున్నారు.

63. As for the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the sons of Judah could not drive them out. But the Jebusites live with the sons of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
