1. ఆయన యేడవ ముద్రను విప్పినప్పుడు పరలోక మందు ఇంచుమించు అరగంటసేపు నిశ్శబ్దముగా ఉండెను.

1. And when He had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven about the space of half an hour.

2. అంతట నేను దేవునియెదుట నిలుచు ఏడుగురు దూతలను చూచితిని; వారికి ఏడు బూరలియ్యబడెను.

2. And I saw the seven angels who stood before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.

3. మరియు సువర్ణధూపార్తి చేత పట్టుకొనియున్న వేరొక దూతవచ్చి బలిపీఠము ఎదుట నిలువగా సింహాసనము ఎదుట ఉన్న సువర్ణబలిపీఠముపైన పరిశుద్ధులందరి ప్రార్థనలతో కలుపుటకై అతనికి బహు ధూపద్రవ్యములు ఇయ్యబడెను.

3. And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar, which was before the throne.

4. అప్పుడా ధూపద్రవ్యముల పొగ పరిశుద్ధుల ప్రార్థనలతో కలిసి దూత చేతిలోనుండి పైకి లేచి దేవుని సన్నిధిని చేరెను.

4. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

5. ఆ దూత ధూపార్తిని తీసికొని, బలి పీఠముపైనున్న నిప్పులతో దానిని నింపి, భూమిమీద పడ వేయగా ఉరుములు ధ్వనులు మెరుపులు భూకంపమును కలిగెను.

5. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it onto the earth; and there were voices and thunderings and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6. అంతట ఏడు బూరలు పట్టుకొనియున్న ఆ యేడుగురు దూతలు ఊదుటకు సిద్ధపడిరి.

6. And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

7. మొదటి దూత బూర ఊదినప్పుడు రక్తముతో మిళితమైన వడగండ్లును అగ్నియు పుట్టి భూమిపైన పడవేయబడెను; అందువలన భూమిలో మూడవ భాగము కాలి పోయెను, చెట్లలో మూడవ భాగమును కాలిపోయెను, పచ్చగడ్డియంతయు కాలిపోయెను.

7. The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth; and a third part of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

8. రెండవ దూత బూర ఊదినప్పుడు అగ్నిచేత మండుచున్న పెద్ద కొండవంటిది ఒక్కటి సముద్రములో పడ వేయబడెను. అందువలన సముద్రములో మూడవ భాగము రక్తమాయెను.

8. And the second angel sounded and, as it were, a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and a third part of the sea became blood;

9. సముద్రములోని ప్రాణముగల జంతువులలో మూడవ భాగము చచ్చెను, ఓడలలో మూడవ భాగము నాశన మాయెను.

9. and a third part of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died, and a third part of the ships were destroyed.

10. మూడవ దూత బూర ఊదినప్పుడు దివిటీవలె మండుచున్న యొక పెద్ద నక్షత్రము ఆకాశమునుండి రాలి నదుల మూడవ భాగముమీదను నీటిబుగ్గల మీదను పడెను.

10. And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as if it were a lamp, and it fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters;

11. ఆ నక్షత్రమునకు మాచిపత్రియని పేరు. అందువలన నీళ్లలో మూడవభాగము మాచిపత్రి యాయెను; నీళ్లు చేదై పోయినందున వాటివలన మనుష్యులలో అనేకులు చచ్చిరి.

11. and the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

12. And the fourth angel sounded, and a third part of the sun was smitten, and a third part of the moon and a third part of the stars, so that a third part of them was darkened; and a third of the day shone not, and the night likewise.

13. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three other angels, which are yet to sound!"
