1. Then Hannah prayed. She said, 'The Lord has filled my heart with joy. He has made me strong. I can laugh at my enemies. I'm so glad he saved me.

2. యెహోవావంటి పరిశుద్ధ దేవుడు ఒకడునులేడు నీవు తప్ప మరి ఏ దేవుడును లేడుమన దేవునివంటి ఆశ్రయదుర్గమేదియు లేదు.

2. 'There isn't anyone holy like the Lord. There isn't anyone except him. There isn't any Rock like our God.

3. యెహోవా అనంతజ్ఞానియగు దేవుడు ఆయనే క్రియలను పరీక్షించువాడుఇకను అంత గర్వముగా మాటలాడకుడిగర్వపుమాటలు మీ నోట రానియ్యకుడి.

3. 'Don't keep talking so proudly. Don't let your mouth say such proud things. The Lord is a God who knows everything. He judges everything people do.

4. ప్రఖ్యాతినొందిన విలుకాండ్రు ఓడిపోవుదురుతొట్రిల్లినవారు బలము ధరించుదురు.

4. 'The bows of great heroes are broken. But those who trip and fall are made strong.

5. తృప్తిగా భుజించినవారు అన్నము కావలెనని కూలికిపోవుదురుఆకలి గొనినవారు ఆకలితీర తిందురు గొడ్రాలు ఏడుగురు పిల్లలను కనును అనేకమైన పిల్లలను కనినది కృశించి పోవును.

5. Those who used to be full have to work for food. But those who used to be hungry aren't hungry anymore. The woman who couldn't have children has seven of them now. But the woman who has had many children is sad now because hers have died.

6. జనులను సజీవులనుగాను మృతులనుగాను చేయువాడు యెహోవాయేపాతాళమునకు పంపుచు అందులోనుండి రప్పించుచుండువాడు ఆయనే.

6. 'The Lord causes people to die. He also gives people life. He brings people down to the grave. He also brings people up.

7. యెహోవా దారిద్ర్యమును ఐశ్వర్యమును కలుగజేయు వాడు క్రుంగజేయువాడును లేవనెత్తువాడును ఆయనే.
లూకా 1:52

7. The Lord makes people poor. He also makes people rich. He brings people down. He also lifts people up.

8. దరిద్రులను అధికారులతో కూర్చుండబెట్టుటకును మహిమగల సింహాసనమును స్వతంత్రింపజేయుటకును వారిని మంటిలోనుండి యెత్తువాడు ఆయనే లేమిగలవారిని పెంటకుప్ప మీది నుండి లేవనెత్తు వాడు ఆయనే. భూమియొక్క స్తంభములు యెహోవా వశము, లోకమును వాటిమీద ఆయన నిలిపియున్నాడు.

8. He raises poor people up from the trash pile. He lifts needy people out of the ashes. He lets them sit with princes. He gives them places of honor. 'The foundations of the earth belong to the Lord. On them he has set the world.

9. తన భక్తుల పాదములు తొట్రిల్లకుండ ఆయన వారిని కాపాడును. దుర్మార్గులు అంధకారమందు మాటుమణుగుదురు బలముచేత ఎవడును జయము నొందడు.

9. He guards the paths of those who are faithful to him. But evil people will lie silent in their dark graves. 'People don't win just because they are strong.

10. యెహోవాతో వాదించువారు నాశనమగుదురు పరమండలములో నుండి ఆయన వారిపైన యురుమువలె గర్జించును లోకపు సరిహద్దులలో నుండువారికి ఆయన తీర్పు తీర్చునుతాను నియమించిన రాజునకు ఆయన బలమిచ్చునుతాను అభిషేకించినవానికి అధిక బలము కలుగజేయును.

10. Those who oppose the Lord will be totally destroyed. He will thunder against them from heaven. He will judge the earth from one end to the other. 'He will give power to his king. He will give honor to his anointed one.'

11. తరువాత ఎల్కానా రామాలోని తన యింటికి వెళ్లి పోయెను; అయితే ఆ బాలుడు యాజకుడైన ఏలీ యెదుట యెహోవాకు పరిచర్యచేయుచుండెను.

11. Then Elkanah went home to Ramah. But the boy Samuel served the Lord under the direction of the priest Eli.

12. ఏలీ కుమారులు యెహోవాను ఎరుగనివారై మిక్కిలి దుర్మార్గులైయుండిరి.

12. Eli's sons were evil men. They didn't know the Lord.

13. జనులవిషయమై యాజకులు చేయుచు వచ్చిన పని యేమనగా, ఎవడైన బలిపశువును వధించిన మీదట మాంసము ఉడుకుచుండగా యాజకుని వారు మూడు ముండ్లుగల కొంకిని తీసికొనివచ్చి

13. When anyone came to offer a sacrifice, here is what the priests would do. While the meat was being boiled, the servant of the priest would come with a large fork in his hand.

14. బొరుసులో గాని తపేలలోగాని గూనలోగాని కుండలోగాని అది గుచ్చినపుడు ఆ కొంకిచేత బయటకు వచ్చినదంతయు యాజకుడు తనకొరకు తీసికొనును. షిలోహుకు వచ్చు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరికిని వీరు ఈలాగున చేయుచువచ్చిరి.

14. He would stick it into the pan or pot or small or large kettle. Then the priest would take for himself everything the fork brought up. That's how Eli's sons treated all of the people of Israel who came to Shiloh.

15. ఇదియు గాక వారు క్రొవ్వును దహింపకమునుపు యాజ కుని పనివాడు వచ్చి బలిపశువును వధించువానితో యాజకునికి వండించుటకై మాంసమిమ్ము, ఉడకబెట్టిన మాంసము అతడు నీయొద్ద తీసికొనడు, పచ్చి మాంసమే కావలెను అని చెప్పుచువచ్చెను.

15. Even before the fat was burned, the servant of the priest would come over. He would speak to the man who was offering the sacrifice. He would say, 'Give the priest some meat to cook. He won't accept boiled meat from you. All he'll accept is raw meat.'

16. ఈ క్షణమందే వారు క్రొవ్వును దహింతురు, తరువాత నీ మనస్సు వచ్చి నంతమట్టుకు తీసికొనవచ్చునని వానితో ఆ మనిషి చెప్పిన యెడల వాడుఆలాగువద్దు ఇప్పుడే యియ్యవలెను, లేని యెడల బలవంతముచేత తీసికొందుననును.

16. Sometimes the man would say to him, 'Let the fat be burned up first. Then take what you want.' But the servant would answer, 'No. Hand it over right now. If you don't, I'll take it away from you by force.'

17. అందువలన జనులు యెహోవాకు నైవేద్యము చేయుటయందు అసహ్య పడుటకు ఆ ¸యౌవనులు కారణమైరి, గనుక వారిపాపము యెహోవా సన్నిధిని బహు గొప్పదాయెను.

17. That sin of Eli's sons was very great in the Lord's sight. That's because they were making fun of his offering.

18. బాలుడైన సమూయేలు నారతో నేయబడిన ఏఫోదు ధరించుకొని యెహోవాకు పరిచర్యచేయు చుండెను.

18. But the boy Samuel served the Lord. He wore a sacred linen apron.

19. వాని తల్లి వానికి చిన్న అంగీ ఒకటి కుట్టి యేటేట బలి అర్పించుటకు తన పెనిమిటితోకూడ వచ్చినప్పుడు దాని తెచ్చి వాని కిచ్చుచు వచ్చెను.

19. Each year his mother made him a little robe. She took it to him when she went up to Shiloh with her husband. She did it when her husband went to offer the yearly sacrifice.

20. యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మనవిచేసికొనగా నీకు దొరకిన యీ సంతానమునకు ప్రతిగా యెహోవా నీకు సంతానము నిచ్చునుగాక అని ఏలీ ఎల్కానాను అతని భార్యను దీవించిన తరువాత వారు ఇంటికి వెళ్లిరి.

20. Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife. He would say, 'May the Lord give you children by this woman. May they take the place of the boy she prayed for and gave to him.' Then they would go home.

21. యెహోవా హన్నాను దర్శింపగా ఆమె గర్భవతియై ముగ్గురు కుమాళ్లను ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలను కనెను. అయితే బాలుడగు సమూయేలు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ఉండి యెదుగుచుండెను.

21. The Lord was gracious to Hannah. She became pregnant. Over a period of years she had three more sons and two daughters. During that whole time the boy Samuel grew up serving the Lord.

22. ఏలీ బహు వృద్ధుడాయెను. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు తన కుమారులు చేసిన కార్యములన్నియు, వారు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారము దగ్గరకు సేవ చేయుటకువచ్చిన స్త్రీలతో శయనించుటయను మాట చెవిని పడగా వారిని పిలిచి యిట్లనెను

22. Eli was very old. He kept hearing about everything his sons were doing to all of the people of Israel. He also heard how they were having sex with the women who served at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.

23. ఈ జనులముందర మీరుచేసిన చెడ్డకార్యములు నాకు వినబడినవి. ఈలాటి కార్యములు మీరెందుకు చేయుచున్నారు?

23. So Eli said to his sons, 'Why are you doing those things? All of the people are telling me about the evil things you are doing.

24. నా కుమారు లారా, యీలాగు చేయవద్దు, నాకు వినబడినది మంచిది కాదు, యెహోవా జనులను మీరు అతిక్రమింపచేయు చున్నారు.

24. No, my sons. The report I hear isn't good. And it's spreading among the Lord's people.

25. నరునికి నరుడు తప్పుచేసినయెడల దేవుడు విమర్శచేయునుగాని యెవరైన యెహోవా విషయములో పాపము చేసినయెడల వానికొరకు ఎవడు విజ్ఞాపనము చేయును? అనెను. అయితే యెహోవా వారిని చంప దలచి యుండెను గనుక వారు తమ తండ్రియొక్క మొఱ్ఱను వినకపోయిరి.

25. If a man sins against someone else, God can help that sinner. But if a man sins against the Lord, who can help him?' In spite of what their father Eli said, his sons didn't pay any attention to his warning. That's because the Lord had already decided to put them to death.

26. బాలుడగు సమూయేలు ఇంకను ఎదుగుచు యెహోవా దయయందును మనుష్యుల దయ యందును వర్ధిల్లుచుండెను.

26. The boy Samuel continued to grow stronger. He also became more and more pleasing to the Lord and to people.

27. అంతట దైవజనుడొకడు ఏలీయొద్దకు వచ్చియిట్లనెను యెహోవా నిన్నుగూర్చి సెలవిచ్చినదేమనగా, నీ పిత రుని యింటివారు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఫరో యింటిలో ఉండగా నేను వారికి ప్రత్యక్షమైతిని.

27. A man of God came to Eli. He told him, 'The Lord says, 'I made myself clearly known to your relatives who lived long ago. I did it when they were in Egypt under Pharaoh.

28. అతడు నా ముందర ఏఫోదును ధరించి నా బలిపీఠముమీద అర్ప ణమును ధూపమును అర్పించుటకై నాకు యాజకుడగునట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలు గోత్రములలోనుండి నే నతని ఏర్పరచు కొంటిని. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అర్పించిన హోమవస్తువులన్నిటిని నీ పితరుని యింటివారికిచ్చితిని.

28. I chose your father Aaron to be my priest. I chose him out of all of the tribes of Israel. I told him to go up to my altar. I told him to burn incense. I chose him to wear a linen apron when he served me. I also gave his family all of the offerings that are made with fire by the people of Israel.

29. నా నివాస స్థలమునకు నేను నిర్ణయించిన బలి నైవేద్యములను మీరేల తృణీకరించుచున్నారు? మిమ్మును క్రొవ్వబెట్టుకొనుటకై నా జనులగు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేయు నైవేద్యములలో శ్రేష్ఠభాగములను పట్టుకొనుచు, నాకంటె నీ కుమారులను నీవు గొప్ప చేయుచున్నావు.

29. 'Why do all of you laugh at my sacrifices and offerings? I require them to be brought to the house where I live. Why do you honor your sons more than me? Why do you fatten yourselves on the best parts of every offering that is made by my people Israel?'

30. నీ యింటి వారును నీ పితరుని యింటివారును నా సన్నిధిని యాజ కత్వము జరిగించుదురని యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ యిచ్చియున్నను ఇప్పుడు అది నా మనస్సునకు కేవలము ప్రతికూలమాయెనని ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు. కావున యెహోవా వాక్కు ఏదనగానన్ను ఘనపరచువారిని నేను ఘనపరచుదును. నన్ను తృణీకరించువారు తృణీకారమొందుదురు.

30. 'The Lord is the God of Israel. He announced, 'I promised that your family and the family of Aaron would serve me as priests forever.' 'But now the Lord announces, 'I will not let that happen! I will honor those who honor me. But I will turn away from those who look down on me.

31. ఆలకించుము; రాగల దినములలో నీ బలమును నీ పితరుని యింటి బలమును నేను తక్కువచేతును. నీ యింట ముసలివాడు ఒకడును లేకపోవును.

31. The time is coming when I will cut your life short. I will also cut short the lives of those in your family. No man in your family line will grow old.

32. యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు చేయదలచిన మేలువిషయములో నా నివాసస్థలమునకు అపాయము కలుగగా నీవు చూతువు. ఎప్పటికిని నీ యింట ముసలివాడు ఉండడు.

32. 'You will see nothing but trouble in the house where I live. Good things will still happen to Israel. But no man in your family line will ever grow old.

33. నా బలిపీఠమునొద్దనెవడు ఉండకుండ నేనందరిని నశింపజేయక విడుచు వాడను గనుక అది నీ కన్నులు క్షీణించుటకును నీవు దుఃఖముచేత క్షయమగుటకును సాధనమగును; నీ సంతానపు వారందరు వయఃకాలమందు మరణమవుదురు.

33. A member of your family will serve me at my altar. But what he does will bring tears to your eyes. Your heart will be sad. And the rest of the men in your family line will die while they are still young.

34. నీ యిద్దరు కుమారులైన హొఫ్నీకిని ఫీనెహాసునకును సంభ వించునని నేను చెప్పినదానికి నీకు సూచనగా నుండును. ఒక్క నాటియందే వారిద్దరు మరణమవుదురు.

34. 'Something is going to happen to your two sons Hophni and Phinehas. When it does, it will show you that what I am saying is true. They will both die on the same day.

35. తరువాత నమ్మక మైన ఒక యాజకుని నేను నియమింతును; అతడు నా యోచననుబట్టి నా కనుకూలముగా యాజకత్వము జరిగించును, అతనికి నేను నమ్మకమైన సంతానము పుట్టిం తును, అతడు నా అభిషిక్తుని సన్నిధిని ఎప్పటికిని యాజ కత్వము జరిగించును.

35. ' 'I will raise up for myself a faithful priest. He will do what my heart and mind want him to do. I will make his family line very secure. They will always serve as priests to my anointed king.

36. అయితే నీ యింటివారిలో శేషించినవారు ఒక వెండిరూకనైనను రొట్టెముక్కనైనను సంపా దించుకొనవలెనని అతనియొద్దకు వచ్చి దండముపెట్టి–నేను రొట్టెముక్క తినునట్లుగా దయచేసి యాజకుల ఉద్యోగములలో ఒకదానియందు నన్ను ఉంచుమని అతని వేడుకొందురు

36. Everyone who is left in your family line will come and bow down to him. They will beg him for a piece of silver and a crust of bread. They will say, 'Please give me a place to serve among the priests. Then I can have food to eat.' ' '
