1. తరువాత ఫిలిష్తీయులు కెయీలామీద యుద్ధము చేసి కల్లములమీది ధాన్యమును దోచుకొనుచున్నారని దావీదునకు వినబడెను.

1. On the morowe after the saboth erly in the morninge they came vnto the toumbe and brought the odoures which they had prepared and other wemen with them

2. అంతట దావీదునేను వెళ్లి యీ ఫిలిష్తీయులను హతము చేయుదునా అని యెహోవా యొద్ద విచారణచేయగా యెహోవానీవు వెళ్లి ఫిలిష్తీ యులను హతముచేసి కెయీలాను రక్షించుమని దావీదునకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

2. And they founde the stone rouled awaye fro the sepulcre

3. దావీదుతో కూడియున్న జనులుమేము ఇచ్చట యూదా దేశములో ఉండినను మాకు భయముగా నున్నది; ఫిలిష్తీయుల సైన్యములకెదురుగా కెయీలాకు మేము వచ్చినయెడల మరింత భయము కలుగును గదా అని దావీదుతో అనగా

3. and went in: but founde not the body of the Lorde Iesu.

4. దావీదు మరల యెహోవాయొద్ద విచారణ చేసెనునీవు లేచి కెయీలాకు వెళ్లుము, ఫిలిష్తీయులను నీ చేతికి అప్పగించుదునని యెహోవా సెలవియ్యగా

4. And it happened as they were amased therat: Beholde two men stode by them in shynynge vestures.

5. దావీదును అతని జనులును కెయీలాకు వచ్చి ఫిలిష్తీయులతో యుద్ధముచేసి వారిని లెస్సగా హతముచేసి వారి పశువులను దోచుకొనివచ్చిరి. ఈలాగున దావీదు కెయీలా కాపురస్థులను రక్షించెను.

5. And as they were a frayde and bowed doune their faces to the erth: they sayd to them: why seke ye the lyvinge amonge the deed?

6. అహీమెలెకు కుమారుడైన అబ్యాతారు ఏఫోదు చేత పట్టుకొని పారిపోయి కెయీలాలోనున్న దావీదునొద్దకు వచ్చెను.

6. He is not here: but is rysen. Remember how he spake vnto you when he was yet with you in Galile

7. దావీదు కెయీలాకు వచ్చిన సంగతి సౌలు విని దావీదు ద్వారములును అడ్డుగడలునుగల పట్టణములో ప్రవేశించి అందులో మూయబడి యున్నాడు, దేవుడతనిని నా చేతికి అప్పగించెనను కొనెను.

7. sayinge: that the sonne of man must be delyvered into the hondes of synfull men and be crucified and the thyrde daye ryse agayne.

8. కాబట్టి సౌలు కెయీలాకు పోయి దావీదును అతని జనులను ముట్టడింప వలెనని జనులందరిని యుద్ధమునకు పిలువనంపించెను.

8. And they remembred his wordes

9. సౌలు తనకు కీడే యుద్దేశించుచున్నాడని దావీదు ఎరిగి యాజకుడైన అబ్యాతారును ఏఫోదును తెమ్మనెను.

9. and returned from the sepulcre and tolde all these thinges vnto the eleven and to all the remanaunt.

10. అప్పుడు దావీదుఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా యెహోవా, సౌలు కెయీలాకు వచ్చి నన్నుబట్టి పట్టణమును పాడుచేయ నుద్దేశించుచున్నాడని నీ దాసుడనైన నాకురూఢిగా తెలియబడి యున్నది.

10. It was Mary Magdalen and Ioanna and Mary Iacobi and other that were with the which tolde these thinges vnto the Apostles

11. కెయీలా జనులు నన్ను అతని చేతికి అప్పగించుదురా? నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు వినబడినట్లు సౌలు దిగివచ్చునా? ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవా యెహోవా, దయచేసి నీ దాసుడనైన నాకు దానిని తెలియజేయుమని ప్రార్థింపగా అతడు దిగివచ్చునని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చెను.

11. and their wordes semed vnto them fayned thinges nether beleved they them.

12. కెయీలా జనులు నన్ను నా జనులను సౌలు చేతికి అప్పగించుదురా అని దావీదు మరల మనవి చేయగా యెహోవావారు నిన్ను అప్ప గించుదురని సెలవిచ్చెను.

12. Then aroose Peter and ran vnto the sepulcre and stouped in and sawe the lynnen cloothes layde by them selfe and departed wondrynge in him selfe at that which had happened.

13. అంతట దావీదును దాదాపు ఆరువందల మందియైన అతని జనులును లేచి కెయీలాలో నుండి తరలి, ఎక్కడికి పోగలరో అక్కడకు వెళ్లిరి. దావీదు కెయీలాలోనుండి తప్పించుకొనిన సంగతి సౌలు విని వెళ్లక మానెను.

13. And beholde two of them went that same daye to a toune which was fro Ierusalem about thre scoore for longes called Emaus:

14. అయితే దావీదు అరణ్యములోని కొండస్థలముల యందును, జీఫు అను అరణ్యమున ఒక పర్వతమందును నివాసము చేయుచుండెను; సౌలు అనుదినము అతని వెదకినను దేవుడు సౌలుచేతికి అతని నప్పగించలేదు.

14. and they talked togeder of all these thinges that had happened.

15. తన ప్రాణము తీయుటకై సౌలు బయలుదేరెనని తెలిసికొని దావీదు జీఫు అరణ్యములో ఒక వనమున దిగెను.

15. And it chaunsed as they comened togeder and reasoned that Iesus him selfe drue neare and went with them.

16. అప్పుడు సౌలు కుమారుడైన యోనాతాను లేచి, వనము లోనున్న దావీదునొద్దకు వచ్చినా తండ్రియైన సౌలు నిన్ను పట్టుకొనజాలడు, నీవు భయపడవద్దు,

16. But their eyes were holden that they coulde not knowe him.

17. నీవు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులకు రాజ వగుదువు, నేను నీకు సహకారినౌదును, ఇది నా తండ్రి యైన సౌలునకు తెలిసియున్నదని అతనితో చెప్పి దేవునిబట్టి అతని బలపరచెను.

17. And he sayde vnto them: What maner of comunicacions are these that ye have one to another as ye walke and are sadde.

18. వీరిద్దరు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిబంధన చేసికొనిన తరువాత దావీదు వనములో నిలిచెను, యోనాతాను తన యింటికి తిరిగి వెళ్లెను.

18. And the one of them named Cleophas answered and sayd vnto him: arte thou only a straunger in Ierusalem and haste not knowen the thinges which have chaunsed therin in these dayes?

19. జీఫీయులు బయలుదేరి గిబియాలోనున్న సౌలునొద్దకు వచ్చియెషీమోనుకు దక్షిణమున నున్న హకీలామన్యము లోని అరణ్యమున కొండ స్థలములయందు మా మధ్య దావీదు దాగియున్నాడే.

19. To whom he sayd: what thinges? And they sayd vnto him: of Iesus of Nazareth which was a Prophet myghtie in dede and worde before god and all the people.

20. రాజా, నీ మనోభీష్టమంతటి చొప్పున దిగిరమ్ము; రాజవైన నీ చేతికి అతనిని అప్పగించుట మా పని అని చెప్పగా

20. And how the hye prestes and oure rulers delyvered him to be condempned to deeth: and have crucified him.

21. సౌలు వారితో ఇట్లనెనుమీరు నాయందు కనికరపడినందుకై మీకు యెహోవా ఆశీర్వాదము కలుగును గాక.

21. But we trusted that it shuld have bene he that shuld have delyvered Israel. And as touchynge all these thinges to daye is even the thyrd daye that they were done.

22. మీరు పోయి అతడు ఉండుస్థలము ఏదయినది, అతనిని చూచినవాడు ఎవడయినది నిశ్చయముగా తెలిసికొనుడి; అతడు బహు యుక్తిగా ప్రవర్తించుచున్నాడని నాకు వినబడెను గనుక

22. Ye and certayne wemen also of oure company made vs astonyed which came erly vnto the sepulcre

23. మీరు బహు జాగ్రత్తగా నుండి, అతడుండు మరుగు తావులను కని పెట్టియున్న సంగతియంత నాకు తెలియజేయుటకై మరల నాయొద్దకు తప్పక రండి, అప్పుడు నేను మీతో కూడా వత్తును, అతడు దేశములో ఎక్కడనుండినను యూదావారందరిలో నేను అతని వెదకి పట్టుకొందును.

23. and founde not his boddy: and came sayinge that they had sene a vision of angels which sayde that he was alyve.

24. అంతట వారు లేచి సౌలుకంటె ముందు జీఫునకు తిరిగి వెళ్లిరి. దావీదును అతని జనులును యెషీమోనుకు దక్షిణపు వైపుననున్న మైదానములోని మాయోను అరణ్యములో ఉండగా

24. And certayne of them which were with vs went their waye to the sepulcre and founde it even so as the wemen had sayde: but him they sawe not.

25. సౌలును అతని జనులును తన్ను వెదకుటకై బయలుదేరిన మాట దావీదు విని, కొండ శిఖరము దిగి మాయోను అరణ్యమందు నివాసము చేసెను. సౌలు అది విని మాయోను అరణ్యములో దావీదును తరుమ బోయెను.

25. And he sayde vnto the: O foles and slowe of herte to beleve all yt the prophetes have spoken.

26. అయితే సౌలు పర్వతము ఈ తట్టునను దావీదును అతని జనులును పర్వతము ఆ తట్టునను పోవుచుండగా దావీదు సౌలుదగ్గరనుండి తప్పించుకొని పోవలెనని త్వరపడుచుండెను. సౌలును అతని జనులును దావీదును అతని జనులను పట్టుకొనవలెనని వారిని చుట్టు కొనుచుండిరి.

26. Ought not Christ to have suffred these thinges and to enter into his glory?

27. ఇట్లుండగా దూత యొకడు సౌలునొద్దకు వచ్చినీవు త్వరగా రమ్ము, ఫిలిష్తీయులు దండెత్తి వచ్చి దేశములో చొరబడియున్నారని చెప్పగా

27. And he began at Moses and at all the prophetes and interpreted vnto them in all scriptures which were wrytten of him.

28. సౌలు దావీదును తరుముట మాని వెనుకకు తిరిగి ఫిలిష్తీయులను ఎదుర్కొనబోయెను. కాబట్టి సెలహమ్మలెకోతు అని ఆ స్థలమునకు పేరు పెట్టబడెను.

28. And they drue neye vnto the toune wich they went to. And he made as though he wolde have gone further.

29. తరువాత దావీదు అక్కడనుండి పోయి ఏన్గెదీకి వచ్చి కొండ స్థలములలో నివాసము చేయుచుండెను.

29. But they constrayned him sayinge: abyde with vs for it draweth towardes nyght and the daye is farre passed. And he went in to tary with the.
