ఉదయముననే లేచి బయలుదేరి పట్టణముయొక్క గుమ్మపు మార్గమందు ఒక తట్టున నిలిచి, రాజుచేత తీర్పునొందుటకై వ్యాజ్యెమాడు వారెవరైనను వచ్చియుండగా కనిపెట్టి వారిని పిలిచినీవు ఏ ఊరివాడవని యడుగుచుండెనునీ దాసుడనైన నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములలో ఫలానిదానికి చేరిన వాడనని వాడు చెప్పగా

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡು ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾದವನು ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು--ನೀನು ಯಾವ ಪಟ್ಟಣದವನೆಂದು ಕೇಳು ವನು.
