ఇతడు ఇట్టి సమాచారము వారికి ప్రకటన చేయుటవలన ఈ పట్టణ ములో నిలిచియున్న యోధుల చేతులను ప్రజలందరి చేతులను బలహీనము చేయుచున్నాడు; చిత్తగించి వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపుము.

Then the officials said to the king, "This man should be put to death. He is discouraging the soldiers who are left in this city, as well as all the people, by the things he is saying to them. This man is not seeking the good of these people but their ruin."

इसलिये उन हाकिमों ने राजा से कहा कि उस पुरूष को मरवा डाल, क्योंकि वह जो इस नगर में बचे हुए योद्वाओं और अन्य सब लोगों से ऐसे ऐसे वचन कहता है जिस से उनके हाथ पांव ढीले हो जाते हैं। क्योंकि वह पुरूष इस प्रजा के लोगों की भलाई नहीं वरन बुराई ही चाहता है।

அப்பொழுது பிரபுக்கள் ராஜாவை நோக்கி: இந்த மனுஷன் கொல்லப்பட உத்தரவாகவேண்டும்; அதேனென்றால், இந்த நகரத்தில் மீதியாயிருக்கிற யுத்தமனுஷரிடத்திலும், மற்றுமுள்ள சகல ஜனங்களிடத்திலும், இவன் இப்படிப்பட்ட வார்த்தைகளைச் சொல்லுகிறதினாலே அவர்களுடைய கைகளைத் தளர்ந்துபோகப்பண்ணுகிறான்; இவன் இந்த ஜனத்தின் க்ஷேமத்தைத் தேடாமல், அவர்கள் கேட்டையே தேடுகிறான் என்றார்கள்.

യെഹൂദാരാജാവായ സിദെക്കീയാവും എല്ലാ പടയാളികളും അവരെ കണ്ടപ്പോള് ഔടിപ്പോയി; അവര് രാത്രിയില് രാജാവിന്റെ തോട്ടം വഴിയായി രണ്ടു മതിലുകള്ക്കും നടുവിലുള്ള വാതില്ക്കല്കൂടി നഗരത്തില്നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടു അരാബവഴിക്കുപോയി.

ಆಗ ಆದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆಹೂ ದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಚಿದ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ತೋಟದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಎರಡು ಗೋಡೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಾಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟರು;

Therefore the princes said unto the king, "We beseech thee, let this man be put to death; for thus he weakeneth the hands of the men of war who remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, by speaking such words unto them; for this man seeketh not the welfare of this people, but the hurt."
