యోహాను
ప్రకటన గ్రంథం 21:3 అప్పుడు ఇదిగో దేవుని నివాసము మనుష్యులతో కూడ ఉన్నది, ఆయన వారితో కాపురముండును, వారాయన ప్రజలైయుందురు,
దేవుడు తానే వారి దేవుడైయుండి వారికి తోడైయుండును.

యోహాను.
క్రీస్తుతో ఆదర్శప్రాయమైన విధేయత, అంకితభావం
మరియు ప్రగాఢ బంధాన్ని కలిగి ఉన్నాడు.
యేసు రొమ్మున ఆనుకొన్న శిష్యుడుగా ఇతని ప్రయాణం, దేవునితో సన్నిహిత్యం కలిగి, మనకు స్ఫూర్తినిస్తూ మార్గనిర్దేశం చేస్తుంది.

40 Days - Day 14
John: An Exemplar of Loyalty and Divine Revelation
"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, -Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.-" - Revelation 21:3
John, the close disciple of Jesus who wrote Revelation, embodies exemplary loyalty, dedication, and a profound bond with Christ. His journey inspires and guides believers striving for an intimate walk with God.
Since his calling with his brother James, John devotedly followed Jesus. In the Gospels, we find John as a key disciple witnessing miracles and the transfiguration. During the Last Supper, he leaned against Jesus, reflecting their close connection.
After Jesus ascended to heaven, John continued spreading the Christian message without fear. Despite being persecuted and jailed for his beliefs, John remained strong in his faith, trusting in Jesus- promises and the hope of eternal life. During Roman rule in 95 AD, John was punished for preaching by being thrown into boiling oil, but emerged unharmed. He was then sent to the remote island of Patmos.
During his exile on Patmos, John received a vision from Jesus Christ. He recorded this vision in the Book of Revelation, a collection of prophecies and symbolic messages. John-s writings convey the triumph of Christ over darkness, the reign of God, and the promise of a renewed existence. His life inspires us to strengthen our bond with Christ and embody His principles. Are we prepared to wholeheartedly follow Jesus, like John, despite adversity? Do we seek a close relationship with Christ, allowing Him to guide our path?
Let us, like John the disciple, nurture a profound connection with Christ, where His love moulds us from the inside out. By embracing the truth He reveals, we can put our faith in His promises and boldly declare His triumph over sin and death to those around us. Amen.
