మీకు తెలుసా! గత 10 సంవత్సరాలలో ప్రపంచంలో క్రీస్తు నిమిత్తం హతసాక్షులైన వారి సంఖ్య 9,00,000 కంటే పైనే. అంటే ప్రతీ 6 నిమిషాలకు ఒక విలయతాండవం. ప్రప్రధమంగా 3 లక్షల క్రైస్తవులను హింసించి, బంధీలుగా, బానిసలుగా చేసి నాడు-నేడు కనికరంలేని కమ్యూనిష్టు సిద్ధాంతాలతో నరలోకంలో నరకాన్ని చూపించే దేశం ఏదైనా ఉంది అంటే అది ఉత్తర కొరియా. ఆలా 50 దేశాలు క్రైస్తవులను హతమార్చే జాబితాల్లో ఉంటే వాటిలో మన దేశం 10వ స్థానంలో ఉంది.
అమెరికా దేశం, కొలరాడో పట్టణంలో 11 ఏళ్ళు నిండినప్పుడు రేచెల్ జాయ్ స్కాట్ తన జీవితాన్ని క్రీస్తు కొరకు సంపూర్ణంగా అంకితం చేసుకుంది. చిన్ననాటినుండే క్రీస్తు కొరకు ఏదైనా చేయాలనే పట్టుదల, 16వ ఏట పత్రికలను రాసి వాటి ద్వారా అనేకులను క్రీస్తువైపు నడిపించింది. అయితే, దేవునికి బాగా దగ్గరవవుతున్నావు మాకొద్దు నీ స్నేహం అని వదిలేశారు స్నేహితులు. చిన్న వయసులోనే క్రీస్తు నిమిత్తం భరించలేని అవమానం, అపహాస్యం మౌనంగా భరించింది. రోజురోజుకు పెరుగుతున్న తన విశ్వాసాన్ని తట్టుకోలేక తనతో ఉండేవారు సువార్త మనుకోమన్నారు, క్రీస్తును వదిలేయమన్నారు. పరిణామాలు తీవ్రంగా ఉంటాయని బెదిరించారు.
"మంచి మార్గంలో నడుద్దామని నా నడకను సరి చేసుకున్నాను. నేను సరైన మార్గం ఎంచుకున్నాను కదా. అయినా పర్వాలేదు, ఎంత కష్టం వచ్చినా ఏది విశ్వసించానో దానిపై నిలబడతాను" అని ఎవరికీ చెప్పుకోలేక తన కుటుంబ సభ్యునికి లేఖ రాసింది. అనుకోకుండా, ఓ రోజు మధ్యాహ్నం స్కూల్లో తన స్నేహితురాలితో కలిసి భోజనం చేస్తున్నప్పుడు, వ్యతిరేకుల ఆగ్రహం విరుచుకుపడి తనను తనతో ఉన్నవారిని ముట్టడిచేశారు. తూటాల ప్రవాహానికి 11 మంది బలైపోయి ఆ రక్తపు మడుగుల్లో హతసాక్షి అయ్యింది మన రేచెల్. 17 ఏళ్ళు కూడా నిండని రేచెల్ కు జరిగిన ఈ సంఘటన కన్నీటి వలయంలో అటు కుటుంబాన్ని, దేశాన్ని కుదిపేసింది.
ఆశ్చర్యంగా ఉందా?
క్రీస్తు కొరకు నా జీవితాన్ని సమర్పించుకున్నాను అంటే...క్రీస్తుతో సిలువ వేయబడి, లోకంతో నేను మరణించాననే. అందుకే నేనంటాను, స్థిరమైన విశ్వాసంతో అంతంవరకు నిలబడే పట్టుదల కావాలి. అనుదినం సజీవయాగంగా సమర్పించుకునే జీవితాలు కావాలి. ఇదే సిలువలో క్రీస్తుతో శ్రమానుభవం.
అపో పౌలు క్రీస్తుతో తన శ్రమానుభవాన్నివివరిస్తూ..."నేను క్రీస్తుతోకూడ సిలువ వేయబడియున్నాను; ఇకను జీవించువాడను నేను కాను, క్రీస్తే నాయందు జీవించుచున్నాడు నేనిప్పుడు శరీరమందు జీవించుచున్న జీవితము నన్ను ప్రేమించి, నా కొరకు తన్నుతాను అప్పగించుకొనిన దేవుని కుమారునియందలి విశ్వాసమువలన జీవించుచున్నాను. (గలఁతి 2 : 20) బ్రదుకుట క్రీస్తే, చావైతే లాభము...(ఫిలిప్పీ 1:21)"
అనుభవం : స్థిరమైన విశ్వాసం, అంతం వరకు నిలబడే పట్టుదలే సజీవయాగ సమర్పణ. ఇదే సిలువలో క్రీస్తుతో శ్రమానుభవం.

Do you know! In the last 10 years, the number of martyrs for Christ in the world is more than 900,000. That means there is a sacrifice every 6 minutes. North Korea is a nation that captivated, tortured, and enslaved 3 million Christians which means that country is like a hell with merciless communist ideologies. Of the 50 countries that execute Christians, our country ranks 10th.
Rachel Joy Scott of Colorado, USA dedicated her life to Christ supremely when she was 11 years old. She decided to do anything for Christ since childhood. At the age of 16, she wrote magazines and led many to Christ. Her friends left her because she drew closer to God. At an early age, the humiliation and mockery due to believing Christ became unbearable. Many who were not able to withstand her when they witness her faith increasing day by day, asked her to leave the gospel and leave Christ for their friendship. They even threatened her and warned her that she might have to face serious consequences.
"I have adjusted my ways to grow better in life. Did I choose the right path? and I decided with a strong will that no matter how difficult it may be, I will stand by what I believe today." - she pens down these words and wrote a letter to her family member. Unexpectedly, one afternoon while having lunch with her friend at school, the outrage of opponents overwhelmed her and her friends. Rachel was killed together with 11 other people; it was a bloodstream that afternoon. This is the event that happened to Rachel, who was not even 17 years old and left the family and the country in tears.
Isn-t that shocking?
I have laid down my life for Christ, which means I was crucified with Christ and died in the world. That is why I believe in perseverance and endurance. Every day we need to submit our lives as a living sacrifice. This is the tribulation with Christ on the cross.
Apostle Paul summed up his experience with Christ - "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.. (Galatians 2:20). For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. (Philippians 1:21)".
Experience: Stable faith and perseverance is the living offering; this is the suffering experience with Christ.
