Gods Leading
Matthew 2:2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
Today we shall learn how to respond to Gods call with faith and obedience. When the Magi saw the star, they knew it was a sign from God and they followed it. They were willing to leave their homes travel a great distance and risk their own safety to pay homage to the new-born king. The Magi’s journey is a reminder that when we encounter Gods leading, we should respond with faith and obedience.
We may not always understand the why or the how, but we can trust that God knows what is best. We can also trust that He will provide the resources and strength we need to follow Him. Like the Magi we should be willing to take risks and step out in faith when we sense Gods leading. We may be called to leave our comfort zone and go to places; we have never been before. We may be asked to give generously or to serve sacrificially. But in the end, we can be rest assured that God will be with us in every step of the way. Amen
