యేసు సిలువలో పలికిన ఏడు మాటలు - మొదటి మాట
అనుదిన మన ప్రార్ధనలో అనేక సంగతులు ఉంటూనే ఉంటాయి. చేసే పనిలో ఒత్తిడి పెరిగిపోయినప్పుడు ప్రార్ధన, ప్రార్ధన భారాలు రెండు తగ్గిపోతాయి. అనుకోకుండా
ఏదైనా క్లిష్ట పరిస్థితులను ఎదుర్కోవాల్సి వస్తే ప్రార్ధనలో ఎక్కువ భాగం మనకోసమే...చివర్లో కాస్త కుటుంబంకోసం లేదా అత్యవసరం ఉన్న సన్నిహితుల కోసం.
సిలువలో
యేసు క్రీస్తు జీవితం దాదాపుగా ముగిసినప్పుడు, బాధ తీవ్రంగా ఉన్నా, సిలువను వీక్షిస్తున్న తల్లికోసం లేదా శిష్యులకోసం ప్రార్ధన చేయలేదు. అంతేకాదు సిలువలో ఆయన మరణంద్వారా భవిష్యత్తు ప్రణాళికలో నిర్మించబడే సంఘంకోసం ప్రార్ధన చేయలేదు. ఆ వేదనకు బదులుగా, శత్రువుల కొరకు ప్రార్ధించాడు. ఆయన హింసకు కారణమైన వాళ్ళు కఠినంగా శిక్షించాలని కాదు గాని వారిని క్షమించమని తండ్రిని వేడుకుంటున్నాడు.
శత్రువుల కొరకు ప్రార్ధించే
క్రీస్తు ప్రేమలోని గొప్పతనం గూర్చి మనం నేర్చుకోవలసిన వారమై యున్నాము. ఈ ప్రేమ ఎటువంటి శత్రువులనైనా మిత్రులుగా మార్చేయగలదు. దోషులు ఉండవలసిన స్థానంలో వారికి బదులుగా ఏ తప్పు చేయని వ్యక్తి ఆ స్థానంలో శిక్ష పొందడం... ఇదే ఆ సిలువ గొప్పతనం.
యేసు క్రీస్తు షరతులు లేని ప్రేమను నేర్పించాడు. ఏడుమారులుమట్టుకే కాదు, డెబ్బది ఏళ్ల మారులమట్టుకైనా క్షమించాలి. ఎటువంటి పాపాత్ములనైనా, చివరికి ఆయనను సిలువేసిన వారినైనా క్షమించగల ప్రేమా స్వరూపి. అసమానమైన ప్రేమ ఆ కలువరి ప్రేమ. అట్టి క్షమాపణ జీవితమే మనకు క్షమాపణ, విడుదల. మనంకూడా ఈ క్షమాపణ ప్రార్ధనను చేయ ప్రయత్నిద్దామా?
తండ్రీ, వీరేమి చేయుచున్నారో వీరెరుగరు గనుక వీరిని క్షమించుము.

First word of sayings of Jesus Christ on the Cross.
In our everyday prayers, we cover a lot of ground. Often the intensity of prayer and prayer decrease when we are in some kind of stress .The majority of our prayers are for ourselves, especially when we encounter an unanticipated challenge, and very little portion of our prayers about family members or close friends in need.
At the time of Crucifixion, despite the tremendous anguish of hanging on the cross with his mother in the crowd Jesus offered no prayers either for His mother or the disciples. He didn-t even offer any prayer for the generations that His cross-bearing death would eventually create. He prayed for His adversaries rather than accusing them for his excruciating pain . He is pleading with the Father to pardon rather than harshly punish them. Jesus Said ”Father ,forgive them, for they know not what they do” in Luke23:34.
The magnitude of Christ-s love is demonstrated to us through His intercession for His adversaries. That is the kind of Gods love that Jesus showed on the cross, which can even make enemies to become friends. The power of cross is the substitution of an innocent man for the guilt of the entire mankind.
Jesus Christ advocated for love unparalleled. Just not seven times but 77 times we should be forgiving. This is the kind of forgiveness in unconditional love ,capable of forgiving even those who would ultimately crucify Him. Nothing can ever match the Love Jesus showed on Cross of Calvary. Our deliverance and forgiveness come from such a life of forgiveness. Shall we attempt to recite this prayer of forgiveness for our adversaries as well?
