1. గోత్రముల పెద్దలను, వంతులచొప్పున రాజునకు సేవచేయు అధిపతులను సహస్రాధిపతులను, శతాధిపతులను, రాజునకును రాజుకుమారులకును కలిగియున్న యావత్తు చరాస్తిమీదను స్థిరాస్తిమీదను ఉన్న అధిపతులను, అనగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల పెద్దలనందరిని రాజునొద్ద నున్న పరివారమును పరాక్రమశాలులను సేవా సంబంధులైన పరాక్రమ శాలులనందరిని రాజగు దావీదు యెరూషలేమునందు సమకూర్చెను.

1. David assembled in Yerushalayim all the leaders of Isra'el- the leaders of the tribes, the commanders of the divisions serving the king, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and the supervisors over the property and livestock of the king, along with his sons, the officials, the warrior-heroes, and anyone else who was a leader.

2. అప్పుడు రాజైన దావీదు లేచి నిలువబడి ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెనునా సహోదరులారా, నా జనులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి; యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమునకును మన దేవుని పాదపీఠమునకును విశ్రమస్థానముగా ఉండుటకు ఒక మందిరము కట్టించ వలెనని నేను నా హృదయమందు నిశ్చయము చేసికొని సమస్తము సిద్ధపరచితిని.

2. Then David the king rose to his feet and said: 'My kinsmen and my people! Listen to me! I set my heart on building a house where the ark for the covenant of ADONAI could remain at rest. It would have been God's footstool, and I prepared to build it.

3. అయితే నీవు యుద్ధములు జరిగించి రక్తము ఒలికించినవాడవు గనుక నీవు నా నామ మునకు మందిరమును కట్టించకూడదని దేవుడు నాకు ఆజ్ఞ ఇచ్చెను.

3. But God said to me, 'You are not to build a house for my name, because you are a man of war, you have shed blood.'

4. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద నిత్యము రాజునై యుండుటకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా నా తండ్రి యింటివారందరిలోను నన్ను కోరుకొనెను, ఆయన యూదాగోత్రమును, యూదాగోత్రపువారిలో ప్రధానమైనదిగా నా తండ్రి యింటిని నా తండ్రి యింటిలో నన్నును ఏర్పరచుకొని నాయందు ఆయన దయచూపి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులమీద రాజుగా నియమించియున్నాడు.

4. However, ADONAI the God of Isra'el chose me out of my father's whole family to be king over Isra'el forever; for he chose Y'hudah to be the leader; and in the house of Y'hudah, in the house of my father, and among the sons of my father, it was his pleasure to make me king over all Isra'el;

5. యెహోవా నాకు అనేకమంది కుమారులను దయచేసి యున్నాడు, అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులపైని యెహోవా రాజ్యసింహాసనముమీద కూర్చుండుటకు ఆయన నా కుమారులందరిలో సొలొమోనును కోరుకొని ఆయన నాతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

5. and of all my sons- for ADONAI has given me many sons- he has chosen Shlomo my son to sit on the throne of the kingdom of ADONAI over Isra'el.

6. నేను నీ కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనును నాకు కుమారునిగా ఏర్పరచుకొని యున్నాను, నేను అతనికి తండ్రినైయుందును అతడు నా మందిరమును నా ఆవరణములను కట్టించును.

6. 'Moreover, he said to me, 'Shlomo your son will build my house and courtyards, for I have chosen him to be a son to me, and I will be a father to him.

7. మరియు నేటిదినమున చేయుచున్నట్లు అతడు ధైర్యమువహించి నా ఆజ్ఞలను నా న్యాయవిధులను అనుసరించినయెడల, నేనతని రాజ్యమును నిత్యము స్థిరపరచుదును.

7. I will establish his kingdom forever, if he uses his strength to obey my [mitzvot] and abide by my rulings, as [[he is doing]] currently.'

8. కాబట్టి మీరు ఈ మంచిదేశమును స్వాస్థ్యముగా అనుభవించి, మీ తరువాత మీ సంతతివారికి శాశ్వత స్వాస్థ్యముగా దానిని అప్ప గించునట్లు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన యాజ్ఞలన్నియు ఎట్టివో తెలిసికొని వాటిని గైకొనుడి అని యెహోవా సమాజమునకు చేరిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు చూచుచుండగను మన దేవుడు ఆలకించుచుండగను నేను మిమ్మును హెచ్చరిక చేయుచున్నాను.

8. Now therefore, in the sight of all Isra'el, the community of ADONAI, and in the hearing of our God, observe and seek out all the [mitzvot] of ADONAI your God, so that you may continue to possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your descendants after you forever.

9. సొలొమోనా, నా కుమారుడా, నీ తండ్రియొక్క దేవుడైన యెహోవా అందరి హృదయములను పరిశోధించువాడును, ఆలోచనలన్నిటిని సంకల్పములన్నిటిని ఎరిగినవాడునై యున్నాడు. నీవు ఆయనను తెలిసికొని హృదయపూర్వకముగాను మనః పూర్వకముగాను ఆయనను సేవించుము, ఆయనను వెదకినయెడల ఆయన నీకు ప్రత్యక్షమగును, నీవు ఆయనను విసర్జించినయెడల ఆయన నిన్ను నిత్యముగా త్రోసి వేయును.

9. 'As for you, Shlomo my son, know the God of your father. Serve him wholeheartedly and with desire in your being; for ADONAI searches all hearts and understands all the inclinations of people's thoughts. If you seek him, he will let himself be found by you; but if you abandon him, he will reject you forever.

10. పరిశుద్ధ స్థలముగా ఉండుటకు ఒక మందిరమును కట్టించుటకై యెహోవా నిన్ను కోరుకొనిన సంగతి మనస్సునకు తెచ్చుకొని ధైర్యము వహించి పని జరిగింపుము.

10. See now that ADONAI has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; so be strong, and do it!'

11. అప్పుడు దావీదు మంటపమునకును మందిరపు కట్టడ మునకును బొక్కసపు శాలలకును మేడ గదులకును లోపలి గదులకును కరుణాపీఠపు గదికిని యెహోవా మందిరపు ఆవరణములకును

11. Then David gave Shlomo his son the designs for the hall [[of the temple]], its buildings, its supply areas, its upper rooms, its inside rooms, and the place for the ark-cover;

12. వాటి చుట్టునున్న గదులకును దేవుని మందిరపు బొక్కసములకును ప్రతిష్ఠిత వస్తువుల బొక్కస ములకును తాను ఏర్పాటుచేసి సిద్ధపరచిన మచ్చులను తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనునకు అప్పగించెను.

12. also the designs for everything he had been given by the Spirit- for the courtyards of the house of ADONAI, for all the rooms surrounding it, for the storehouses in the house of God, for the storehouses for the holy articles,

13. మరియు యాజకులును లేవీయులును సేవచేయవలసిన వంతుల పట్టీ యును, యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవనుగూర్చిన పట్టీయును, యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవోపకరణముల పట్టీయును దావీదు అతనికప్పగించెను.

13. and for the areas set aside for the [cohanim] and the [L'vi'im]; [[arrangements]] for the work involved in the service of the house of ADONAI and for all the articles needed for the service of the house of ADONAI;

14. మరియు ఆయా సేవాక్రమ ములకు కావలసిన బంగారు ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని చేయుటకై యెత్తుప్రకారము బంగారమును, ఆ యా సేవాక్రమములకు కావలసిన వెండి ఉపకరణములన్నిటిని చేయుటకై యెత్తు ప్రకారము వెండిని దావీదు అతని కప్పగించెను.

14. [[lists]] of the weights of gold needed for the gold items to be used for various purposes, and the weights of silver needed for the silver items to be used for various purposes-

15. బంగారు దీపస్తంభములకును వాటి బంగారు ప్రమిదెలకును ఒక్కొక్క దీపస్తంభమునకును దాని ప్రమి దెలకును కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారము గాను, వెండి దీపస్తంభములలో ఒక్కొక దీపస్తంభమునకును, దాని దాని ప్రమిదెలకును కావలసినంత వెండిని యెత్తు ప్రకారముగాను,

15. the weight of the gold needed for the gold [menorah]s, the weight needed for each [menorah] and for its lamps; and for the [menorah]s of silver, the weight of silver needed for each [menorah] and for its lamps, according to the way each [menorah] was to be used;

16. సన్నిధిరొట్టెలు ఉంచు ఒక్కొక బల్లకు కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకా రముగాను, వెండిబల్లలకు కావలసినంత వెండిని,

16. also the gold by weight for the tables for the showbread, for each table; and silver for the tables made of silver;

17. ముండ్ల కొంకులకును గిన్నెలకును పాత్రలకును కావలసినంత అచ్చ బంగారమును, బంగారు గిన్నెలలో ఒక్కొక గిన్నెకు కావలసినంత బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారముగాను వెండి గిన్నెలలో ఒక్కొక గిన్నెకు కావలసినంత వెండిని యెత్తు ప్రకారముగాను,

17. the gold for the pure gold forks, basins and jars, and for the gold bowls by weight for each bowl; also for the silver bowls by weight for each bowl;

18. ధూపపీఠమునకు కావలసినంత పుటము వేయబడిన బంగారమును ఎత్తు ప్రకారముగాను, రెక్కలు విప్పుకొని యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసమును కప్పు కెరూబుల వాహనముయొక్క మచ్చునకు కావలసినంత బంగార మును అతని కప్పగించెను.

18. and for the incense altar, refined gold by weight; and gold for the design of the chariot and the [k'ruvim] with their wings spread out to cover the ark for the covenant of ADONAI.

19. ఇవియన్నియు అప్పగించియెహోవా హస్తము నామీదికి వచ్చి యీ మచ్చుల పని యంతయు వ్రాతమూలముగా నాకు నేర్పెను అని సొలొ మోనుతో చెప్పెను.

19. All this is in writing, as ADONAI, with his hand on me, has given me good sense in working out these detailed plans.'

20. మరియు దావీదు తన కుమారుడైన సొలొమోనుతో చెప్పిన దేమనగానీవు బలముపొంది ధైర్యము తెచ్చుకొని యీ పని పూనుకొనుము, భయపడ కుండుము, వెరవకుండుము, నా దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతోకూడ నుండును; యెహోవా మందిరపు సేవను గూర్చిన పనియంతయు నీవు ముగించువరకు ఆయన నిన్ను ఎంతమాత్రమును విడువక యుండును.

20. Then David said to Shlomo his son, 'Be strong, be bold, and do it! Don't be afraid or become discouraged! For ADONAI, God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or abandon you until all the work for the service in the house of ADONAI has been finished.

21. దేవుని మందిర సేవయంతటికిని యాజకులును లేవీయులును వంతులప్రకా రము ఏర్పాటైరి; నీ యాజ్ఞకు బద్ధులైయుండి యీ పని యంతటిని నెరవేర్చుటకై ఆ యా పనులయందు ప్రవీణులైన వారును మనఃపూర్వకముగా పనిచేయువారును అధి పతులును జనులందరును నీకు సహాయులగుదురు.

21. See, there are the divisions of the [cohanim] and [L'vi'im] for all the service in the house of God. For every kind of work, you will have with you every man who is willing and skilled, for every kind of service. Also the captains and all the people will be completely at your disposal.'
