1. నా ప్రియురాలా, నీవు సుందరివి నీవు సుందరివి నీ ముసుకుగుండ నీ కన్నులు గువ్వకన్నులవలె కనబడు చున్నవి నీ తలవెండ్రుకలు గిలాదు పర్వతముమీది మేకల మందను పోలియున్నవి.

1. O howe fayre art thou my loue, howe fayre art thou? thou hast doues eyes, beside that which lyeth hid within: Thy heerie lockes are lyke the wooll of a flocke of goates that be shorne vpon mount Gilead.

2. నీ పలువరుస కత్తెరవేయబడినవియు కడుగబడి అప్పుడే పైకి వచ్చినవియునై జోడుజోడు పిల్లలు కలిగి ఒకదానినైన పోగొట్టుకొనక సుఖముగానున్న గొఱ్ఱెల కదుపులను పోలియున్నది.

2. Thy teeth are like a flocke [of sheepe] of the same bignesse whiche went vp from the washing place, where euery one beareth two twinnes, and not one vnfruitfull among them.

3. నీ పెదవులు ఎరుపునూలును పోలియున్నవి. నీ నోరు సుందరము నీ ముసుకుగుండ నీ కణతలు విచ్చిన దాడిమ ఫలము వలె నగపడుచున్నవి.

3. Thy lippes are lyke a rose coloured ribande, thy wordes are louely, thy cheekes are like a peece of a pomegranate within thyne heeres.

4. జయసూచకముల నుంచుటకై దావీదు కట్టించిన గోపురముతోను వేయి డాలులును, శూరుల కవచములన్నియును వ్రేలాడు ఆ గోపురముతోను నీ కంధరము సమానము.

4. Thy necke is like the towre of Dauid buylded with costly stones, lying out on the sides wherevpon there hange a thousande shieldes: yea all the weapons of the giauntes.

5. నీ యిరు కుచములు ఒక జింకపిల్లలయి తామరలో మేయు కవలను పోలియున్నవి.

5. Thy two breastes are lyke two twinnes of young Roes, whiche feede among roses.

6. ఎండ చల్లారి నీడలు జరిగిపోవువరకు గోపరస పర్వతములకు సాంబ్రాణి పర్వతములకు నేను వెళ్లుదును.

6. O that I might go to the mountaine of myrre, and to the hil of frankencense, til the day breake, and til the shadowes be past away.

7. నా ప్రియురాలా, నీవు అధికసుందరివి నీయందు కళంకమేమియు లేదు.

7. Thou art all fayre (O my loue) and no spot is there in thee.

8. ప్రాణేశ్వరీ, లెబానోను విడిచి నాతోకూడ రమ్ము లెబానోను విడిచి నాతో కూడ రమ్ము అమానపర్వతపు శిఖరమునుండి శెనీరు హెర్మోనుల శిఖరమునుండి సింహవ్యాఘ్రములుండు గుహలుగల కొండలపైనుండి నీవు క్రిందికి చూచెదవు.

8. Come to me from Libanus (O my spouse) come to me from Libanus: looke from the top of Amana, from the top of Sanir and Hermon, from the lions dennes, and from the mountaines of the leopardes.

9. నా సహోదరీ, ప్రాణేశ్వరీ, నీవు నా హృదయమును వశపరచుకొంటివి ఒక చూపుతో నా హృదయమును వశపరచుకొంటివి. నీ హారములలో ఒకదానిచేత నన్ను వశపరచుకొంటివి.

9. Thou hast [with loue] bewitched my heart O my sister my spouse, thou hast bewitched my heart with one of thyne eyes, and with one chayne of thy necke.

10. సహోదరీ, ప్రాణేశ్వరీ, నీ ప్రేమ ఎంత మధురము! ద్రాక్షారసముకన్న నీ ప్రేమ ఎంత సంతోషకరము నీవు పూసికొను పరిమళ తైలముల వాసన సకల గంధవర్గములకన్న సంతోషకరము.

10. O howe fayre are thy breastes, my sister, my spouse? Thy breastes are more pleasaunt then wine, and the smell of thyne oyntmentes passeth all spices.

11. ప్రాణేశ్వరీ, నీ పెదవులు తేనియలొలుకుచున్న ట్టున్నవి నీ జిహ్వక్రింద మధుక్షీరములు కలవు నీ వస్త్రముల సువాసన లెబానోను సువాసనవలె నున్నది.

11. Thy lippes, O my spouse, drop as the hony combe, yea mylke and hony is vnder thy tongue, and the smell of thy garmentes is like the smell of Libanus.

12. నా సహోదరి నా ప్రాణేశ్వరి మూయబడిన ఉద్యానము మూతవేయబడిన జలకూపము.

12. A garden well locked is my sister, my spouse: a garden well locked, and a sealed well.

13. నీ చిగురులు దాడిమవనము వింతైన శ్రేష్ఠ ఫలవృక్షములు కర్పూరవృక్షములు జటామాంసి వృక్షములు

13. The fruites that are planted in thee, are lyke a very paradise of pomegranates with sweete fruites, as Camphire, Nardus,

14. జటామాంసియు కుంకుమయు నిమ్మగడ్డియు లవంగపట్టయు వివిధమైన పరిమళతైల వృక్షములు గోపరసమును అగరు వృక్షములు నానావిధ శ్రేష్ఠ పరిమళద్రవ్యములు.

14. (4:13) & Saffron, Calamus, Sinamom, with all sweete smellyng trees, Myrre, Aloes, and all the best spyces,

15. నా సహోదరీ, నా ప్రాణేశ్వరీ, నీవు ఉద్యానజలాశయము ప్రవాహజలకూపము లెబానోను పర్వతప్రవాహము.

15. (4:13) a well of gardens, a well of liuing waters which runne downe from Libanus.

16. ఉత్తరవాయువూ, ఏతెంచుము దక్షిణవాయువూ, వేంచేయుము నా ఉద్యానవనముమీద విసరుడి దాని పరిమళములు వ్యాపింపజేయుడి నా ప్రియుడు తన ఉద్యానవనమునకు వేంచేయును గాక తనకిష్టమైన ఫలముల నతడు భుజించునుగాక.

16. (4:14) Up thou north winde, come thou south winde and blowe vpon my garden, that the smell therof may be caryed on euery side: yea that my beloued may come into his garden, and eate of the sweete fruites [that growe therein.]
