1. అప్పుడు యోసేపు కుమారుడైన మనష్షే వంశస్థులలో సెలోపెహాదు కుమార్తెలు వచ్చిరి. సెలోపెహాదు హెసెరు కుమారుడును గిలాదు మనుమడును మాకీరు మునిమనుమడునై యుండెను. అతని కుమార్తెల పేళ్లు మహలా, నోయా, హొగ్లా, మిల్కా, తిర్సా అనునవి.

1. Then came near the daughters of Zelophehad, son of Hepher, son of Gilead son of Machir son of Manasseh pertaining to the families of Manasseh, son of Joseph, these being the names of his daughters, Mahlah Noah and Hoglah and Milcah, and Tirzah.

2. వారు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునొద్ద మోషే యెదుటను యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు ఎదుటను ప్రధానుల యెదుటను సర్వసమాజము యెదుటను నిలిచి చెప్పినదేమనగామా తండ్రి అరణ్యములో మరణమాయెను.

2. So they stood before Moses and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes, and all the assembly, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, saying:

3. అతడు కోరహు సమూహములో, అనగా యెహోవాకు విరోధముగా కూడినవారి సమూహములో ఉండలేదు గాని తన పాపమును బట్టి మృతిబొందెను.

3. Our father, died in the desert, although, he, was not among the assembly that conspired against Yahweh, in the assembly of Korah, but, in his own sin, died he; and sons, had he none.

4. అతనికి కుమారులు కలుగలేదు; అతనికి కుమారులు లేనంత మాత్రముచేత మా తండ్రిపేరు అతని వంశములోనుండి మాసిపోనేల? మా తండ్రి సహోదరులతో పాటు స్వాస్థ్య మును మాకు దయచేయుమనిరి.

4. Wherefore should the name of our father be withdrawn out of the midst of his family, because he had no son? Give ye unto us a possession, ill the midst of the brethren of our father.

5. అప్పుడు మోషే వారి కొరకు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మనవిచేయగా

5. And Moses brought near their cause before Yahweh.

6. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను. సెలోపెహాదు కుమార్తెలు చెప్పినది యుక్తము.

6. Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

7. నిశ్చయముగా వారి తండ్రి సహోదరులతో పాటు భూస్వాస్థ్యమును వారి అధీనము చేసి వారి తండ్రి స్వాస్థ్యమును వారికి చెందచేయవలెను.

7. A right thing, are the daughters of Zelophehad speaking: Thou shalt, surely give, them a possession for an inheritance, in the midst of the brethren of their father, and shalt cause the inheritance of their father to pass over unto them.

8. మరియు నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లు చెప్పవలెను ఒకడు కుమారుడు లేక మృతి బొందినయెడల మీరు వాని భూస్వాస్థ్యమును వాని కుమార్తెలకు చెందచేయవలెను.

8. And unto the sons of Israel, shalt thou speak, saying, When, any man, shall die, having no son, then shall ye cause his inheritance to pass over to his daughter.

9. వానికి కుమార్తె లేనియెడల వాని అన్నదమ్ములకు వాని స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను.

9. And, if he hath no daughter, then shall ye give his inheritance unto his, brethren.

10. వానికి అన్నదమ్ములు లేని యెడల వాని భూస్వాస్థ్యమును వాని తండ్రి అన్న దమ్ములకు ఇయ్యవలెను.

10. And if he hath no brethren, then shall ye give his inheritance unto the brethren of his father.

11. వాని తండ్రికి అన్నదమ్ములు లేని యెడల వాని కుటుంబములో వానికి సమీపమైన జ్ఞాతికి వాని స్వాస్థ్యము ఇయ్యవలెను; వాడు దాని స్వాధీనపరచుకొనును. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఇది ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు విధింపబడిన కట్టడ.

11. And, if his father hath no brethren, then shall ye give his inheritance unto his blood-relation that is near unto him of his family, and he shall possess it, So shall it serve the sons of Israel as a regulative statute, As Yahweh commanded Moses.

12. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెను నీవు ఈ అబారీము కొండయెక్కి నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఇచ్చిన దేశమును చూడుము.

12. And Yahweh said unto Moses, Go up into this mount of Abarim, and see, the and which I have given unto the son of Israel;

13. నీవు దాని చూచిన తరువాత నీ సహోదరుడైన అహరోను చేర్చబడినట్లు నీవును నీ స్వజనులలో చేర్చబడుదువు.

13. And, when thou hast seen it, then shalt thou also be withdrawn unto thy kinsfolk, as Aaron thy brother was withdrawn;

14. ఏలయనగా సీను అరణ్యములో సమాజము వాదించినప్పుడు ఆ నీళ్లయొద్ద వారి కన్నుల యెదుట నన్ను పరిశుద్ధపరచక నామీద తిరుగబడితిరి. ఆ నీళ్లు సీను అరణ్యమందలి కాదేషులోనున్న మెరీబా నీళ్లే.

14. because ye resisted my bidding in the desert of Zin when the assembly contended, that ye should hallow me regarding the waters, before their eyes, the same, were the waters of Meribah, of Kadesh in the desert of Zin.

15. అప్పుడు మోషే యెహోవాతో ఇట్లనెను యెహోవా, సమస్త మానవుల ఆత్మలకు దేవా, యెహోవా సమాజము కాపరిలేని గొఱ్ఱెలవలె ఉండకుండునట్లు ఈ సమాజముమీద ఒకని నియమించుము.

15. Then spake Moses unto Yahweh saying:

16. అతడు వారి యెదుట వచ్చుచు, పోవుచునుండి,
హెబ్రీయులకు 12:9

16. Let Yahweh, God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the assembly;

17. వారికి నాయకుడుగా ఉండుటకు సమర్థుడై యుండవలెను.

17. who may go out before them and who may come in before them, and who may take-them out and who may bring them in, that the assembly of Yahweh become not as sheep that have no shepherd.

18. అందుకు యెహోవా మోషేతో ఇట్లనెనునూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువ ఆత్మను పొందినవాడు. నీవు అతని తీసికొని అతనిమీద నీ చెయ్యియుంచి

18. And Yahweh said unto Moses: Take thee Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is spirit, then shalt thou lean thy hand upon him;

19. యాజకుడగు ఎలియాజరు ఎదుటను సర్వసమాజము ఎదుటను అతని నిలువబెట్టి వారి కన్నుల యెదుట అతనికి ఆజ్ఞ యిమ్ము;

19. and shalt cause him to stand before Eleazar the priest, and before all the assembly, and shalt charge him before their eyes;

20. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సర్వ సమాజము అతని మాట వినునట్లు అతని మీద నీ ఘనతలో కొంత ఉంచుము.

20. and shalt put some of thine honour upon him, that all the assembly of the sons of Israel may hearken.

21. యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు ఎదుట అతడు నిలువగా అతడు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని ఊరీము తీర్పువలన అతనికొరకు విచారింపవలెను. అతడును అతనితో కూడ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరును, అనగా సర్వసమాజము అతని మాటచొప్పున తమ సమస్త కార్యములను జరుపుచుండవలెను.

21. And, before Eleazar the priest, shall he stand, and shall ask by him for the decision of the Lights, before Yahweh, at the bidding thereof, shall they go out, and at the bidding thereof, shall they come in he, and all the sons of Israel with him, even all the assembly.

22. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతడు చేసెను. అతడు యెహోషువను తీసికొని యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు ఎదుటను సర్వసమాజము ఎదుటను అతని నిలువ బెట్టి

22. And Moses did Yahweh commanded him, and took Joshua, and caused him to stand before Eleazar the priest, and before all the assembly;

23. అతనిమీద తన చేతులుంచి యెహోవా మోషే ద్వారా ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు అతనికి ఆజ్ఞ యిచ్చెను.

23. and leaned his hands upon him and charged him, As Yahweh spake by the hand of Moses.
