1. ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి వారు వచ్చిన తరువాత రెండవ సంవత్సరము మొదటి నెలలో యెహోవా సీనాయి అరణ్యమందు మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in the wilderness of Sinai, in the second year of their going out of the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పస్కాపండుగను దాని నియామకకాలమందు ఆచరింపవలెను.

2. 'Also, the sons of Israel prepare the passover in its appointed season;

3. దాని నియామక కాలమున, అనగా ఈ నెల పదునాలుగవ దినమున సాయంకాలమందు దానిని ఆచరింపవలెను; దాని కట్టడలన్నిటినిబట్టి దాని విధులన్నిటినిబట్టి మీరు దానిని ఆచరింపవలెను.

3. in the fourteenth day of this month between the evenings ye prepare it in its appointed season; according to all its statutes, and according to all its ordinances ye prepare it.'

4. కాబట్టి మోషే పస్కాపండుగను ఆచరింపవలెనని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చెప్పగా వారు సీనాయి అరణ్యమందు మొదటి నెల పదునాలుగవ దినమున సాయంకాలమందు పస్కాపండుగ సామగ్రిని సిద్ధపరచుకొనిరి.

4. And Moses speaketh unto the sons of Israel to prepare the passover,

5. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సమస్తమును ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు అతడు చెప్పినట్లే చేసిరి.

5. and they prepare the passover in the first [month], on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evenings, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that Jehovah hath commanded Moses, so have the sons of Israel done.

6. కొందరు నరశవమును ముట్టుటవలన అపవిత్రులై ఆ దినమున పస్కాపండుగను ఆచరింపలేకపోయిరి.

6. And there are men who have been defiled by the body of a man, and they have not been able to prepare the passover on that day, and they come near before Moses, and before Aaron, on that day,

7. వారు ఆ దినమున మోషే అహరోనుల ఎదుటికి వచ్చి మోషేతో నరశవమును ముట్టుటవలన అపవిత్రులమైతివిు; యెహోవా అర్పణమును దాని నియామక కాలమున ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మధ్యను అర్పింపకుండునట్లు ఏల అడ్డగింపబడితిమని అడుగగా

7. and those men say unto him, 'We are defiled by the body of a man; why are we withheld so as not to bring near the offering of Jehovah in its appointed season, in the midst of the sons of Israel?'

8. మోషేనిలువుడి; మీ విషయములో యెహోవా యేమి సెలవిచ్చునో నేను తెలిసికొందునని వారితో అనెను.

8. And Moses saith unto them, 'Stand ye, and I hear what Jehovah hath commanded concerning you.'

9. అప్పుడు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను నీవు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనుము

9. And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,

10. మీలోగాని మీ వంశములలోగాని ఒకడు శవమును ముట్టుటవలన అపవిత్రుడైనను, దూరప్రయాణము చేయుచుండినను, అతడు యెహోవా పస్కాపండుగను ఆచరింపవలెను.

10. 'Speak unto the sons of Israel, saying, Though any man is unclean by a body or in a distant journey (of you or of your generations), yet he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah;

11. వారు రెండవనెల పదునాలుగవ దినమున సాయంకాలమున దానిని ఆచరించి పొంగని వాటితోను చేదు ఆకుకూరలతోను దానిని తినవలెను.

11. in the second month, on the fourteenth day, between the evenings they prepare it; with unleavened and bitter things they eat it;

12. వారు మరునాటివరకు దానిలో కొంచెమైనను మిగలనీయవలదు; దానిలోనిది ఒక్క యెముక నైనను విరువవలదు; పస్కాపండుగ విషయమైన కట్టడలన్నిటినిబట్టి వారు దానిని ఆచరింపవలెను.

12. they do not leave of till morning; and a bone they do not break in it: according to all the statute of the passover they prepare it.

13. ప్రయాణములో ఉండని పవిత్రుడు పస్కాను ఆచరించుట మానిన యెడల ఆ మనుష్యుడు తన జనులలోనుండి కొట్టివేయబడును. అతడు యెహోవా అర్పణమును దాని నియామక కాలమున అర్పింపలేదు గనుక ఆ మనుష్యుడు తన పాపమును తానే భరింపవలెను.

13. 'And the man who is clean, and hath not been on a journey, and hath ceased to prepare the passover, even that person hath been cut off from his people; because the offering of Jehovah he hath not brought near, in its appointed season, that man doth bear his sin.

14. మీలో నివసించు పరదేశి యెహోవా పస్కాను ఆచరింప గోరునప్పుడు అతడు పస్కా కట్టడచొప్పున దాని విధినిబట్టియే దానిని చేయవలెను. పరదేశికిని మీ దేశములో పుట్టినవానికిని మీకును ఒకటే కట్టడ ఉండవలెను.

14. 'And when a sojourner sojourneth with you, then he hath prepared a passover to Jehovah, according to the statute of the passover, and according to its ordinance, so he doth; one statute is to you, even to a sojourner, and to a native of the land.'

15. వారు మందిరమును నిలువబెట్టిన దినమున మేఘము సాక్ష్యపు గుడారములోని మందిరమును కమ్మెను; సాయంకాలము మొదలుకొని ఉదయమువరకు అగ్నివంటి ఆకారము మందిరముమీద నుండెను.

15. And in the day of the raising up of the tabernacle hath the cloud covered the tabernacle, even the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there is on the tabernacle as an appearance of fire till morning;

16. నిత్యమును ఆలాగే జరిగెను. మేఘము మందిరమును కమ్మెను; రాత్రియందు అగ్నివంటి ఆకారము కనబడెను.

16. so it is continually; the cloud covereth it, also the appearance of fire by night.

17. ఆ మేఘము గుడారము మీదనుండి పైకెత్తబడునప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రయాణమైసాగిరి; ఆ మేఘము ఎక్కడ నిలిచెనో అక్కడనే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ గుడారములను వేసికొనిరి.

17. And according to the going up of the cloud from off the tent and afterwards do the sons of Israel journey; and in the place where the cloud doth tabernacle, there do the sons of Israel encamp;

18. యెహోవా నోటిమాటచొప్పున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రయాణమైసాగిరి. యెహోవా నోటిమాటచొప్పున వారు తమ గుడారములను వేసికొనిరి. ఆ మేఘము మందిరముమీద నిలిచియుండిన దినములన్నియు వారు నిలిచిరి.

18. by the command of Jehovah the sons of Israel journey, and by the command of Jehovah they encamp; all the days that the cloud doth tabernacle over the tabernacle they encamp.

19. ఆ మేఘము బహుదినములు మందిరముమీద నిలిచినయెడల ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవా విధిననుసరించి ప్రయాణము చేయకుండిరి.

19. And in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle many days, then have the sons of Israel kept the charge of Jehovah, and journey not,

20. మేఘము కొన్ని దినములు మందిరము మీద నిలిచినయెడల వారును నిలిచిరి; యెహోవా నోటిమాట చొప్పుననే నిలిచిరి, యెహోవా నోటిమాట చొప్పుననే ప్రయాణము చేసిరి.

20. and so when the cloud is a number of days over the tabernacle; by the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey.

21. ఆలాగే మేఘము సాయంకాలము మొదలుకొని ఉదయమువరకు నిలిచిన యెడల ఉదయమందు ఆ మేఘము పైకెత్తబడ గానే వారు ప్రయాణము చేసిరి. పగలేమి రాత్రియేమి ఆ మేఘము పైకెత్తబడినప్పుడే వారు ప్రయాణము చేసిరి.

21. And so when the cloud is from evening till morning, when the cloud hath gone up in the morning, then they have journeyed; whether by day or by night, when the cloud hath gone up, then they have journeyed.

22. ఆ మేఘము రెండుదినములుగాని, ఒక నెలగాని, యేడాదిగాని తడవు చేసి మందిరముమీద నిలిచినయెడల ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ప్రయాణము చేయక తమ గుడారములలో నిలిచిరి. అది ఎత్తబడినప్పుడు వారు ప్రయాణము చేసిరి.

22. Whether two days, or a month, or days, in the cloud prolonging itself over the tabernacle, to tabernacle over it, the sons of Israel encamp, and journey not; and in its being lifted up they journey;

23. యెహోవా మాటచొప్పున వారు తమ గుడారములను వేసికొనిరి; యెహోవా మాటచొప్పున వారు ప్రయాణముచేసిరి; మోషేద్వారా యెహోవా చెప్పిన మాటనుబట్టి యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ననుసరించి నడిచిరి.

23. by the command of Jehovah they encamp, and by the command of Jehovah they journey; the charge of Jehovah they have kept, by the command of Jehovah in the hand of Moses.
