1. So when men began to be multiplied vpon the earth, and there were daughters borne vnto them,

2. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలు చక్కనివారని చూచి వారందరిలో తమకు మనస్సువచ్చిన స్త్రీలను వివాహము చేసికొనిరి.

2. Then the sonnes of God sawe the daughters of men that they were faire, and they tooke them wiues of all that they liked.

3. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నా ఆత్మ నరులతో ఎల్లప్పుడును వాదించదు; వారు తమ అక్రమ విషయములో నరమాత్రులై యున్నారు; అయినను వారి దినములు నూట ఇరువది యేండ్లగుననెను.

3. Therefore the Lord saide, My Spirit shall not alway striue with man, because he is but flesh, and his dayes shalbe an hundreth and twentie yeeres.

4. ఆ దినములలో నెఫీలులను వారు భూమి మీదనుండిరి; తరువాతను ఉండిరి. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలతో పోయినప్పుడు వారికి పిల్లలను కనిరి. పూర్వకాలమందు పేరు పొందిన శూరులు వీరే.

4. There were gyants in the earth in those dayes: yea, and after that the sonnes of God came vnto the daughters of men, and they had borne them children, these were mightie men, which in olde time were men of renoume.

5. When the Lord sawe that the wickednesse of man was great in the earth, and all the imaginations of the thoughtes of his heart were onely euill continually,

6. తాను భూమిమీద నరులను చేసినందుకు యెహోవా సంతాపము నొంది తన హృదయములో నొచ్చుకొనెను.

6. Then it repented ye Lord, that he had made man in the earth, and he was sorie in his heart.

7. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నేను సృజించిన నరులును నరులతోకూడ జంతువులును పురుగులును ఆకాశ పక్ష్యాదులును భూమిమీద నుండకుండ తుడిచివేయుదును; ఏలయనగా నేను వారిని సృష్టించినందుకు సంతాపము నొందియున్నాననెను

7. Therefore ye Lord said, I will destroy from the earth the man, whom I haue created, from man to beast, to the creeping thing, and to the foule of the heauen: for I repent that I haue made them.

8. అయితే నోవహు యెహోవా దృష్టియందు కృప పొందినవాడాయెను.

8. But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

9. నోవహు వంశావళి యిదే. నోవహు నీతిపరుడును తన తరములో నిందారహితుడునై యుండెను. నోవహు దేవునితో కూడ నడచినవాడు.

9. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a iust and vpright man in his time: and Noah walked with God.

10. షేము, హాము, యాపెతను ముగ్గురు కుమారులను నోవహు కనెను.

10. And Noah begate three sonnes, Shem, Ham and Iapheth.

11. భూలోకము దేవుని సన్నిధిని చెడిపోయియుండెను; భూలోకము బలాత్కారముతో నిండియుండెను.

11. The earth also was corrupt before God: for the earth was filled with crueltie.

12. దేవుడు భూలోకమును చూచినప్పుడు అది చెడిపోయి యుండెను; భూమిమీద సమస్త శరీరులు తమ మార్గమును చెరిపివేసుకొని యుండిరి.

12. Then God looked vpon the earth, and beholde, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupt his way vpon the earth.

13. దేవుడు నోవహుతో సమస్త శరీరుల మూలముగా భూమి బలాత్కారముతో నిండియున్నది గనుక నా సన్నిధిని వారి అంతము వచ్చియున్నది; ఇదిగో వారిని భూమితోకూడ నాశనము చేయుదును.

13. And God said vnto Noah, An ende of all flesh is come before me: for the earth is filled with crueltie through them: and beholde, I wil destroy them with the earth.

14. చితిసారకపు మ్రానుతో నీకొరకు ఓడను చేసికొనుము. అరలు పెట్టి ఆ ఓడను చేసి లోపటను వెలుపటను దానికి కీలు పూయవలెను.

14. Make thee an Arke of pine trees: thou shalt make cabines in the Arke, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

15. నీవు దాని చేయవలసిన విధమిది; ఆ ఓడ మూడువందల మూరల పొడుగును ఏబది మూరల వెడల్పును ముప్పది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండవలెను.

15. And thus shalt thou make it: The length of the Arke shalbe three hundreth cubites, the breadth of it fiftie cubites, and the height of it thirtie cubites.

16. ఆ ఓడకు కిటికీ చేసి పైనుండి మూరెడు క్రిందికి దాని ముగించవలెను; ఓడ తలుపు దాని ప్రక్కను ఉంచవలెను; క్రింది అంతస్థు రెండవ అంతస్థు మూడవ అంతస్థు గలదిగా దాని చేయవలెను.

16. A windowe shalt thou make in the Arke, and in a cubite shalt thou finish it aboue, and the doore of the Arke shalt thou set in the side thereof: thou shalt make it with the lowe, seconde and third roume.

17. ఇదిగో నేనే జీవ వాయువుగల సమస్త శరీరులను ఆకాశముక్రింద నుండకుండ నాశము చేయుటకు భూమిమీదికి జలప్రవాహము రప్పించుచున్నాను. లోకమందున్న సమస్తమును చనిపోవును;

17. And I, beholde, I will bring a flood of waters vpon the earth to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life vnder the heauen: all that is in the earth shall perish.

18. అయితే నీతో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుదును; నీవును నీతోకూడ నీ కుమారులును నీ భార్యయు నీ కోడండ్రును ఆ ఓడలో ప్రవేశింపవలెను.

18. But with thee will I establish my couenant, and thou shalt goe into the Arke, thou, and thy sonnes, and thy wife, and thy sonnes wiues with thee.

19. మరియు నీతోకూడ వాటిని బ్రదికించి యుంచుకొనుటకు సమస్త జీవులలో, అనగా సమస్త శరీరులయొక్క ప్రతి జాతిలోనివి రెండేసి చొప్పున నీవు ఓడలోనికి తేవలెను; వాటిలో మగదియు ఆడుదియు నుండవలెను.

19. And of euery liuing thing, of all flesh two of euery sort shalt thou cause to come into the Arke, to keepe them aliue with thee: they shalbe male and female.

20. నీవు వాటిని బ్రది కించి యుంచుకొనుటకై వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము పక్షులలోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము జంతువుల లోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలను ప్రాకు వాటన్నిటిలోను, ప్రతి జాతిలో రెండేసి చొప్పున నీ యొద్దకు అవి వచ్చును.

20. Of the foules, after their kinde, and of the cattell after their kind, of euery creeping thing of the earth after his kinde, two of euery sort shall come vnto thee, that thou mayest keepe them aliue.

21. మరియు తినుటకు నానావిధములైన ఆహారపదార్థములను కూర్చుకొని నీ దగ్గర ఉంచుకొనుము; అవి నీకును వాటికిని ఆహారమగునని చెప్పెను.

21. And take thou with thee of all meate that is eaten: and thou shalt gather it to thee, that it may be meate for thee and for them.

22. నోవహు అట్లు చేసెను; దేవుడు అతని కాజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారము యావత్తు చేసెను.

22. Noah therefore did according vnto all, that God commanded him: euen so did he.
