1. అడవిలోని కొండమేకలు ఈనుకాలము నీకు తెలియునా? లేళ్లు పిల్లలు వేయు కాలమును గ్రహింపగలవా?

1. Do you know the time when the wild mountain goats bear young? Or can you keep watch for when the deer gives birth?

2. అవి మోయు మాసములను నీవు లెక్క పెట్టగలవా? అవి యీనుకాలము ఎరుగుదువా?

2. Can you number the months that they fulfill? Or do you know the time when they bring forth,

3. అవి వంగి తమ పిల్లలను కనును తమ పిల్లలను వేయును.

3. when they crouch, bring forth their young, and deliver their pangs?

4. వాటి పిల్లలు పుష్టికలిగి యెడారిలో పెరుగును అవి తల్లులను విడిచిపోయి వాటియొద్దకు తిరిగి రావు.

4. Their young ones are healthy, they grow up with grain; when they have departed they do not return to them.

5. అడవిగాడిదను స్వేచ్ఛగా పోనిచ్చినవాడెవడు? అడవిగాడిద కట్లను విప్పినవాడెవడు?

5. Who set the wild donkey free? Who loosed the bands of the wild ass,

6. నేను అరణ్యమును దానికి ఇల్లుగాను ఉప్పుపఱ్ఱను దానికి నివాసస్థలముగాను నియమించితిని.

6. whose house I have made the wilderness, and the barren land his dwelling?

7. పట్టణపు కోలాహలమును అది తిరస్కరించును తోలువాని కేకలను అది వినదు.

7. He scorns the tumult of the city; he does not heed the clamor of the driver.

8. పర్వతముల పంక్తియే దానికి మేతభూమి ప్రతివిధమైన పచ్చని మొలకను అది వెదకుకొనును.

8. The mountain ranges are his pasture, and he searches after every green thing.

9. గురుపోతు నీకు లోబడుటకు సమ్మతించునా? అది నీ శాలలో నిలుచునా?

9. Will the oryx consent to serve you? Will he pass the night by your feeding trough?

10. పగ్గము వేసి గురుపోతును నాగటిచాలులో కట్ట గలవా? అది నీచేత తోలబడి లోయలను చదరము చేయునా?

10. Can you bind the oryx in the furrow with ropes? Or will he harrow the valleys after you?

11. దాని బలము గొప్పదని దాని నమ్ముదువా? దానికి నీ పని అప్పగించెదవా?

11. Will you trust him because his strength is great? Or will you leave your labor to him?

12. అది నీ ధాన్యమును ఇంటికి తెచ్చి నీ కళ్లమందున్న ధాన్యమును కూర్చునని దాని నమ్ముదువా?

12. Will you trust him to bring back your grain, and gather it to your threshing floor?

13. నిప్పుకోడి సంతోషముచేత రెక్కల నాడించును. రెక్కలును వెండ్రుకలును దాని కున్నందున అది వాత్సల్యము కలదిగా నున్నదా?

13. Have you made the wings of the ostrich flap joyously, or the wings and feathers of the stork?

14. లేదుసుమీ, అది నేలను దాని గుడ్లను పెట్టును ధూళిలో వాటిని కాచును.

14. For she leaves her eggs on the ground, and warms them in the dust;

15. దేనిపాదమైన వాటిని త్రొక్క వచ్చుననియైనను అడవిజంతువు వాటిని చితక ద్రొక్కవచ్చుననియైనను అనుకొనకయే యున్నది.

15. she does not care that a foot may crush them, or that a beast of the field may trample them.

16. తన పిల్లలు తనవికానట్టు వాటియెడల అది కాఠిన్యము చూపును దాని కష్టము వ్యర్థమైనను దానికి చింతలేదు

16. She treats her young roughly, as if they were not hers; her labor is in vain without fear,

17. దేవుడు దానిని తెలివిలేనిదిగా జేసెను ఆయన దానికి వివేచనాశక్తి ననుగ్రహించి యుండ లేదు.

17. because God has caused her to forget wisdom, and has not imparted understanding to her.

18. అది లేచునప్పుడు గుఱ్ఱమును దాని రౌతును తిరస్క రించును.

18. When she lifts herself on high, she laughs at the horse and its rider.

19. గుఱ్ఱమునకు నీవు బలమునిచ్చితివా? జూలు వెండ్రుకలతో దాని మెడను కప్పితివా?

19. Have you given the horse its strength? Have you clothed its neck with a mane?

20. మిడతవలె అది గంతులు వేయునట్లు చేయుదువా? దాని నాసికారంధ్ర ధ్వని భీకరము.

20. Can you make him leap like a locust? His majestic snorting strikes terror.

21. మైదానములో అది కాలు దువ్వి తన బలమునుబట్టి సంతోషించును అది ఆయుధధారులను ఎదుర్కొనబోవును.

21. He paws in the valley, and rejoices in his strength; he goes forth to meet the weapons.

22. అది భయము పుట్టించుదానిని వెక్కిరించి భీతినొంద కుండును ఖడ్గమును చూచి వెనుకకు తిరుగదు.

22. He mocks at fear, and is not dismayed; nor does he turn back from the sword.

23. అంబుల పొదియు తళతళలాడు ఈటెలును బల్లెమును దానిమీద గలగల లాడించబడునప్పుడు

23. The quiver rattles against him, the glittering spear and javelin.

24. ఉద్దండకోపముతో అది బహుగా పరుగులెత్తును అది బాకానాదము విని ఊరకుండదు.

24. He swallows the ground with rumbling and agitation; nor does he stand still at the sound of the shofar.

25. బాకానాదము వినబడినప్పుడెల్ల అది అహా అహా అనుకొని దూరమునుండి యుద్ధవాసన తెలిసి కొనును సేనాధిపతుల ఆర్భాటమును యుద్ధఘోషను వినును.

25. Every time the shofar sounds he says, Aha! He smells the battle from afar, the thunder of captains and shouting.

26. డేగ నీ జ్ఞానముచేతనే ఎగురునా? అది నీ ఆజ్ఞవలననే తన రెక్కలు దక్షిణదిక్కునకు చాచునా?

26. Does the hawk fly by your wisdom, and spread its wings toward the south?

27. పక్షిరాజు నీ ఆజ్ఞకు లోబడి ఆకాశవీధి కెక్కునా? తన గూడు ఎత్తయినచోటను కట్టుకొనునా?

27. Does the eagle mount up at your mouth, and make its nest on high?

28. అది రాతికొండమీద నివసించును కొండపేటుమీదను ఎవరును ఎక్కజాలని యెత్తు చోటను గూడు కట్టుకొనును.

28. It settles down and dwells on the rocks, on the crag of the rock and the stronghold.

29. అక్కడనుండియే తన యెరను వెదకును. దాని కన్నులు దానిని దూరమునుండి కనిపెట్టును.

29. From there it searches for food; its eyes see great distances.

30. దాని పిల్లలు రక్తము పీల్చును హతులైనవారు ఎక్కడనుందురో అక్కడనే అది యుండును.
