1. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఆ దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనిన తరువాత వారందరు షిలోహునకు కూడి వచ్చి అక్కడ ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారము వేసిరి.

1. The whole community of Israel gathered together at Shiloh. They set up the Tent of Meeting there. The country was brought under their control.

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో స్వాస్థ్యములు ఇంక పొందని యేడుగోత్రములు ఉండెను.

2. But there were still seven tribes in Israel who had not yet received their shares of land.

3. కావున యెహోషువ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో ఇట్లనెనుమీ పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా మీకిచ్చిన దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొన వెళ్లకుండ మీరెన్నాళ్లు తడవుచేసెదరు?

3. So Joshua spoke to the people of Israel. He said, 'The Lord, the God of your people, has given you this land. How long will you wait before you begin to take it over?

4. ప్రతి గోత్రమునుండి ముగ్గురేసి మనుష్యులను నాయొద్దకు రప్పించిన యెడల నేను వారిని పంపెదను; వారు లేచి దేశ సంచారము చేయుచు ఆయా స్వాస్థ్యములచొప్పున దాని వివరమును వ్రాసి నా యొద్దకు తీసికొనివచ్చెదరు.

4. Appoint three men from each tribe. I'll send them to map out the land. Then they'll write a report about its features. The report will point out the share of land each tribe will receive. Then the men will return to me.

5. వారు ఏడువంతులుగా దాని పంచుకొందురు. యూదా వంశస్థులు దక్షిణదిక్కున తమ సరిహద్దులోపల నిలిచి యుండవలెను. యోసేపు పుత్రులు ఉత్తర దిక్కున తమ సరిహద్దు లోపల నిలిచి యుండవలెను.

5. 'You must divide the land up into seven shares. Judah must remain in its territory in the south. The people in Joseph's family line must remain in their territory in the north.

6. మీరు ఏడు వంతులుగా దేశవివరమును వ్రాసి నా యొద్దకు తీసికొని రావలెను. నేను ఇక్కడ మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని మీ నిమిత్తము వంతుచీట్లు వేసెదను.

6. Write reports about the features of those seven shares of land. Bring them here to me. Then I'll cast lots for you in the sight of the Lord our God.

7. లేవీయు లకు మీ మధ్య ఏ వంతును కలుగదు, యెహోవాకు యాజక ధర్మము చేయుటే వారికి స్వాస్థ్యము. గాదీయు లును రూబేనీయులును మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపువారును యొర్దాను అవతల తూర్పుదిక్కున యెహోవా సేవకుడైన మోషే వారికిచ్చిన స్వాస్థ్యములను పొందియున్నారు.

7. 'But the Levites don't get any share of your land. That's because their share is to serve the Lord as priests. 'The tribes of Gad and Reuben and half of the tribe of Manasseh have already received their shares. They are on the east side of the Jordan River. Moses, the servant of the Lord, gave their shares to them.'

8. ఆ మనుష్యులు లేచి ప్రయాణము కాగా యెహోషువ దేశ వివరమును వ్రాయుటకు వెళ్లబోవు వారితోమీరు ఆ దేశములో బడి నడుచుచు దాని వివరమును వ్రాసి నాయొద్దకు తిరిగి రండి; అప్పుడు నేను షిలోహులో మీకొరకు యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వంతుచీట్లు వేయించెద ననగా

8. The men started out on their way to map out the land. Joshua directed them, 'Go and map out the land. Write a report about its features. Then return to me. I'll cast lots for you here at Shiloh in the sight of the Lord.'

9. ఆ మనుష్యులు వెళ్లి దేశసంచారము చేయుచు ఏడువంతులుగా, గ్రామములచొప్పున, దాని వివరమును పుస్తకములో వ్రాసి షిలోహులోని పాళెములోనున్న యెహోషువ యొద్దకు వచ్చిరి.

9. So the men left and went through the land. They wrote a report about its features on a scroll. It showed how they divided up the land into seven shares. It listed the towns that were in each share. The men returned to Joshua in the camp at Shiloh.

10. వారికొరకు యెహోషువ షిలోహులో యెహోవా సన్నిధిని వంతుచీట్లు వేసి వారి వారి వంతులచొప్పున ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు దేశమును పంచి పెట్టెను.

10. Then Joshua cast lots for them in Shiloh in the sight of the Lord. There he gave out a share of land to each of the remaining tribes in Israel.

11. బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున, వంతుచీటి వచ్చెను; వారి చీటివలన కలిగిన సరిహద్దు యూదా వంశస్థుల సరిహద్దుకును యోసేపు పుత్రుల సరిహద్దుకును మధ్యనుండెను.

11. The first lot that was drawn out was for the tribe of Benjamin, family group by family group. The territory they were given was located between the tribes of the people of Judah and the people of Joseph. Here are the borders of Benjamin's territory.

12. ఉత్తరదిక్కున వారి సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను మొదలుకొని యెరికోకు ఉత్తరదిక్కున పోయి పడమరగా కొండల దేశమువరకు వ్యాపించెను, దాని సరిహద్దు బేతావెను అర ణ్యమువరకు సాగెను.

12. On the north side their border started at the Jordan River. It went past the north slope of Jericho. Then it headed west into the central hill country. It came to an end at the Desert of Beth Aven.

13. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు లూజు వైపున, అనగా బేతేలను లూజు దక్షిణమువరకు సాగి క్రింది బెత్‌హోరోనుకు దక్షిణముననున్న కొండమీది అతారోతు అద్దారువరకు వ్యాపించెను.

13. From there it crossed to the south slope of Bethel. Then it went down to Ataroth Addar on the hill south of Lower Beth Horon.

14. అక్కడనుండి దాని సరిహద్దు దక్షిణమున బెత్‌హోరోనుకును ఎదురుగా నున్న కొండనుండి పడమరగా దక్షిణమునకు తిరిగి అక్కడ నుండి యూదా వంశస్థుల పట్టణమైన కిర్యాత్బాలు అనగా కిర్యత్యారీమువరకు వ్యాపించెను, అది పడమటిదిక్కు.

14. From the hill that faces Beth Horon on the south the border turned south along the west side of the hill. It came to an end at Kiriath Jearim. That town belongs to the people of Judah. That was the border on the west.

15. దక్షిణదిక్కున కిర్యత్యారీముకొననుండి దాని సరిహద్దు పడమటిదిక్కున నెఫ్తోయ నీళ్ల యూటవరకు సాగి

15. The border on the south side started at the west edge of Kiriath Jearim. It came to an end at the springs of Nephtoah.

16. ఉత్తరదిక్కున రెఫాయీయుల లోయలోనున్న బెన్‌ హిన్నోము లోయయెదుటనున్న కొండప్రక్కననుండి దక్షిణదిక్కున బెన్‌హిన్నోము లోయమార్గమున యెబూ సీయుల ప్రదేశమువరకు సాగి ఏన్‌రోగేలువరకు వ్యాపించెను.

16. It went down to the foot of the hill that faces the Valley of Ben Hinnom. The hill is north of the Valley of Rephaim. The border continued down the Hinnom Valley. It went along the south slope of Jerusalem, where the people of Jebus live. It continued on to En Rogel.

17. అది ఉత్తర దిక్కునుండి ఏన్‌షెమెషువరకు వ్యాపించి అదుమీ్మమునకు ఎక్కుచోటికి ఎదురుగానున్న గెలీలోతువరకు సాగి రూబేనీయుడైన బోహను రాతి యొద్దకు దిగెను.

17. Then it curved north. It went to En Shemesh. It continued on to Geliloth. Geliloth faces the Pass of Adummim. The border ran down to the Stone of Bohan, the son of Reuben.

18. అది ఉత్తరదిక్కున మైదానమునకు ఎదురుగా వ్యాపించి అరాబావరకు దిగి అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు ఉత్తర దిక్కున బేత్‌హోగ్లావరకు సాగెను.

18. It continued to the north slope of Beth Arabah. It went on down into the Arabah Valley.

19. అక్కడనుండి ఆ సరిహద్దు యొర్దాను దక్షిణదిక్కునఉప్పు సముద్రముయొక్క ఉత్తరాఖాతమువరకు వ్యాపించెను. అది దక్షిణదిక్కున దానికి సరిహద్దు.

19. From there it went to the north slope of Beth Hoglah. It came to an end at the north bay of the Dead Sea. That's where the Jordan River flows into the Dead Sea. That was the border on the south.

20. తూర్పుదిక్కున యొర్దాను దానికి సరిహద్దు. దాని చుట్టునున్న సరిహద్దుల ప్రకారము బెన్యామీనీయులకు వారి వంశ ములచొప్పున కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యము ఇది.

20. The Jordan River formed the border on the east side. Those were the borders that marked out on all sides the land the family groups of Benjamin received as their share.

21. బెన్యామీనీయుల గోత్రమునకు వారి వంశముల చొప్పున కలిగిన పట్టణములు ఏవేవనగా యెరికో బేత్‌హోగ్లా యెమెక్కెసీసు

21. Here is a list of towns that were given to the tribe of Benjamin, family group by family group. Jericho, Beth Hoglah, Emek Keziz,

22. బేతరాబా సెమ రాయిము బేతేలు ఆవీము పారా ఒఫ్రా

22. Beth Arabah, Zemaraim, Bethel,

23. కెపరమ్మోని ఒప్ని గెబా అనునవి,

23. Avvim, Parah, Ophrah,

24. వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పండ్రెండు పట్టణములు.

24. Kephar Ammoni, Ophni and Geba. The total number of towns and their villages was 12.

25. Here is another list of towns that were given to Benjamin. Gibeon, Ramah, Beeroth,

26. కెఫీరా మోసా రేకెము ఇర్పెయేలు తరలా

26. Mizpah, Kephirah, Mozah,

27. సేలా ఎలెపు యెరూషలేము అనబడిన ఎబూసీ గిబియా కిర్యతు అను నవి; వాటి పల్లెలు పోగా పదునాలుగు పట్టణములు.

27. Rekem, Irpeel, Taralah,

28. వారి వంశముల చొప్పున ఇది బెన్యామీనీయులకు కలిగిన స్వాస్థ్యము.

28. Zelah, Haeleph, Jerusalem, Gibeah and Kiriath. The total number of towns and their villages was 14. That was the share of land the family groups of Benjamin received.
