1. మరల యెహోవా వాక్కు నాకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను

1. The word of the LORD came unto me, on this manner:

2. తండ్రులు ద్రాక్షకాయలు తినగా పిల్లల పళ్లు పులిసెనని మీరు చెప్పుచు వచ్చెదరే; ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేశమునుగూర్చి ఈ సామెత మీ రెందుకు పలికెదరు?

2. what mean ye by this common proverb, that ye use in the land of Israel, saying: The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children's teeth are set on edge?

3. నా జీవముతోడు ఈ సామెత ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో మీరిక పలుకరు; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

3. As truly as I live, sayeth the Lord GOD,(LORDE God) ye shall use this byword no more in Israel.

4. మనుష్యులందరు నా వశములో ఉన్నారు, తండ్రులేమి కుమారులేమి అందరును నా వశములో ఉన్నారు; పాపముచేయువాడెవడో వాడే మరణము నొందును.

4. Behold, all souls are mine. Like as the father is mine, so is the son mine also. The soul that sinneth, shall die.

5. ఒకడు నీతిపరుడై నీతిన్యాయములను అనుసరించువాడైయుండి

5. If a man be godly, and do the thing that is equal and right,

6. పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయకయు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహముల తట్టు చూడకయు, తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను చెరపకయు, బహిష్టయైనదానిని కూడకయు,

6. he eateth not upon the hills: he lifteth not his eyes up to the Idols of Israel, he defileth not his neighbour's wife: he meddleth with no menstruous woman:

7. ఎవనినైనను భాదపెట్ట కయు, ఋణస్థునికి అతని తాకట్టును చెల్లించి బలాత్కారముచేత ఎవనికైనను నష్టము కలుగజేయకయునుండువాడై, ఆకలిగల వానికి ఆహారమిచ్చి దిగంబరికి బట్టయిచ్చి

7. he grieveth nobody: he giveth his debtor his pledge again, he raketh none other man's goods by violence: he parteth his mete with the hungry: he clotheth the naked:

8. వడ్డికి అప్పియ్యకయు, లాభము చేపట్టకయు, అన్యాయము చేయకయు, నిష్పక్షపాతముగా న్యాయము తీర్చి

8. he lendeth nothing upon usury: he taketh nothing over: he withdraweth his hand from doing wrong: he handleth faithfully betwixt man and man:

9. యథార్థపరుడై నా కట్టడలను గైకొనుచు నా విధులనను సరించుచుండినయెడల వాడే నిర్దోషియగును, నిజముగా వాడు బ్రదుకును; ఇదే ప్రభువైన యెహోవా వాక్కు.

9. he walketh in my commandments, and keepeth my laws, and performeth them faithfully: This is a righteous man, he shall surly live, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God)

10. అయితే ఆ నీతిపరునికి కుమారుడు పుట్టగా వాడు బలాత్కారము చేయువాడై ప్రాణహానికరుడై, చేయరాని క్రియలలో దేనినైనను చేసి

10. If he now get a son, that is a murderer, a shedder of blood: if he do one of these things

11. చేయవలసిన మంచి క్రియలలో దేనినైనను చేయకయుండినయెడల, అనగా పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయుటయు, తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను చెరుపుటయు,

11. (though he do not all) he eateth upon the hills: he defileth his neighbour's wife:

12. దీనులను దరిద్రులను భాదపెట్టి బలాత్కారముచేత నష్టము కలుగజేయుటయు, తాకట్టు చెల్లింపకపోవుటయు, విగ్రహముల తట్టు చూచి హేయకృత్యములు జరిగించుటయు,

12. he grieveth the poor and needy: he robbeth and spoileth: he giveth not the debtor his pledge again, he lifteth up his eyes unto Idols, and meddle with abominable things:

13. అప్పిచ్చి వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొనుటయు, లాభము చేపట్టుటయు ఈ మొదలగు క్రియలు చేసినయెడల వాడు బ్రదుకునా? బ్రదుకడు, ఈ హేయక్రియలన్ని చేసెను గనుక అవశ్యముగా వానికి మరణశిక్ష విధింపబడును, వాడు తన ప్రాణమునకు తానే ఉత్తరవాది యగును.

13. he lendeth upon usury, and taketh moreover. Shall this man live? He shall not live. Seeing he hath done all these abominations, he shall die: his blood shall be upon him.

14. అయితే అతనికి కుమారుడు పుట్టగా ఆ కుమారుడు తన తండ్రిచేసిన పాపములన్నిటిని చూచి, ఆలోచించుకొని అట్టి క్రియలు చేయకయుండినయెడల, అనగా

14. Now if this man get a son also, that seeth all his father's sins, which he hath done: and feareth, neither doth such like:

15. పర్వతములమీద భోజనము చేయకయు, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు పెట్టుకొనిన విగ్రహ ములతట్టు చూడకయు, తన పొరుగువాని భార్యను చెరపకయు,

15. Namely, he eateth not upon the mountains: he lifteth not his eyes up to the Idols of Israel: he defileth not his neighbour's wife:

16. ఎవనినైనను బాధపెట్టకయు, తాకట్టు ఉంచు కొనకయు, బలాత్కారముచేత నష్టపరచకయు, ఆకలి గలవానికి ఆహారమిచ్చి దిగంబరికి బట్టయిచ్చి

16. he vexeth no man: he keepeth no man's pledge, he neither spoileth, nor robbeth any man: he dealeth his meat with the hungry: he clotheth the naked:

17. బీదవాని మీద అన్యాయముగా చెయ్యి వేయక లాభముకొరకు అప్పియ్యకయు, వడ్డి పుచ్చుకొనకయు నుండినవాడై, నా విధుల నాచరించుచు నా కట్టడల ననుసరించుచు నుండిన యెడల అతడు తన తండ్రిచేసిన దోషమునుబట్టి చావడు, అతడు అవశ్యముగా బ్రదుకును.

17. he opresseth not the poor: he receiveth no usury, nor anything over: he keepeth my laws, and walketh in my comandments: this man shall not die in his father's sin, but shall live without fail.

18. అతని తండ్రి క్రూరుడై పరులను బాధపెట్టి బలాత్కారముచేత తన సహోదరులను నష్టపరచి తన జనులలో తగని క్రియలు చేసెను గనుక అతడే తన దోషమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును.

18. As for his father: because he oppressed and spoiled his brother, and did wickedly among his people: Lo, he is dead in his own sin.

19. అయితే మీరు కుమారుడు తన తండ్రి యొక్క దోష శిక్షను ఏల మోయుటలేదని చెప్పుకొను చున్నారు. కుమారుడు నీతిన్యాయముల ననుసరించి నా కట్టడలన్నిటిని అనుసరించి గైకొనెను గనుక అతడు అవశ్యముగా బ్రదుకును.

19. And yet say ye: Wherefore then should not this son bear his father's sin? Therefore: because the son hath done equity and right, hath kept all my commandments, and done them: therefore, shall he live in deed.

20. పాపము చేయువాడే మరణము నొందును; తండ్రియొక్క దోష శిక్షను కుమారుడు మోయుటలేదని కుమారుని దోష శిక్షను తండ్రిమోయడు, నీతిపరుని నీతి ఆ నీతిపరునికే చెందును, దుష్టుని దుష్టత్వము ఆ దుష్టునికే చెందును.

20. The same soul that sinneth, shall die. The son shall not bear the father's offense, neither shall the father bear the son's offence. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him self also.(The soul that sinneth, she shall die. The son shall not bear part of the father's wickedness. The righteousness of the right shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be on him.)

21. అయితే దుష్టుడు తాను చేసిన పాపములన్నిటిని విడిచి, నా కట్టడలన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నీతిని అనుసరించి న్యాయము జరిగించినయెడల అతడు మరణము నొందడు, అవశ్యముగా అతడు బ్రదుకును.

21. But if the ungodly will turn away from all his sins that he hath done, and keep all my comandments, and do the thing that is equal and right: doubtless he shall live, and not die.(And yet the wicked if he turn from all his sins which he did, and keep all mine ordinances, and do justly and righteously, he shall live and not die.)

22. అతడు చేసిన అపరాధములలో ఒకటియు జ్ఞాపకములోనికి రాదు, అతని నీతినిబట్టి అతడు బ్రదుకును.

22. As for all his sins that he did before, they shall not be thought upon: but in his righteousness that he hath done, he shall live.(None of the sins that he hath done shall be reckoned unto him: In the righteousness that he hath done, he shall live.)

23. దుష్టులు మరణము నొందుటచేత నా కేమాత్రమైన సంతోషము కలుగునా? వారు తమ ప్రవర్తనను దిద్దుకొని బ్రదుకుటయే నాకు సంతోషము; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.
1 తిమోతికి 2:4

23. For have I any pleasure in the death of a sinner? sayeth the Lord GOD:(LORDE God) but rather that he convert and live.(For I desire not the death of a sinner (saith the Lorde Iehouah) but rather that he should turn from his way, and live.)

24. అయితే నీతిపరుడు తన నీతిని విడిచి పాపము చేసి, దుష్టులు చేయు హేయక్రియలన్నిటి ప్రకారము జరిగించినయెడల అతడు బ్రదుకునా? అతడు చేసిన నీతి కార్యములు ఏమాత్రమును జ్ఞాపకములోనికి రావు, అతడు విశ్వాసఘాతకుడై చేసిన పాపమునుబట్టి మరణము నొందును.

24. Again: If the righteous turn away from his righteousness, and do iniquity, according to all the abominations, that the wicked man doth, shall he live? All the righteousness that he hath done, shall not be thought upon: but in the fault that he offended withal and in the sin that he hath done, he shall die.(And so if a righteous turn from his righteousness and do wickedness, and shall do like unto all the abominations which a wicked doth, shall he live? No, none of those righteousness that he did shall be remembered. But in the wickedness which he wrought, and in the sin which he did, in them shall he die.)

25. అయితే యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయము కాదని మీరు చెప్పుచున్నారు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, నా మాట ఆలకించుడి, నా మార్గము న్యాయమే మీ మార్గమే గదా అన్యాయమైనది?

25. And yet ye say: Tush, the way of the Lord(LORDE) is not indifferent. Hear therefore ye house of Israel: Is not my way right? Or, are not your ways rather wicked?(But you will say, the way of the Lord is not equal. Here I pray you ye house of Israel. Is not my way equal?)

26. నీతి పరుడు తన నీతిని విడిచి పాపము చేసినయెడల అతడు దానినిబట్టి మరణము నొందును; తాను పాపము చేయుటనుబట్టియే గదా అతడు మరణమునొందును?

26. When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and meddleth with ungodliness: he must die therein: Yea for the unrighteousness that he hath done, must he die.(If a righteous turn from his righteousness and do wickedly, and die therefore: in the wickedness which he did he shall die.)

27. మరియు దుష్టుడు తాను చేయుచు వచ్చిన దుష్టత్వమునుండి మరలి నీతి న్యాయములను జరిగించిన యెడల తన ప్రాణము రక్షించుకొనును.

27. Again: when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness, that he hath done, and doth the thing which is equal and right: he shall save his soul alive.(And when a wicked turneth from his wickedness and doth justly and righteously, he shall save his soul:)

28. అతడు ఆలోచించుకొని తాను చేయుచువచ్చిన అతిక్రమక్రియ లన్నిటిని చేయక మానెను గనుక అతడు మరణమునొందక అవశ్యముగా బ్రదుకును.

28. For in so much as he remembereth himself, and turneth him from all the ungodliness, that he had used, he shall live, and not die.(because he feared and turned from all his wickedness which he did, he shall live and not die, saith the Lorde almighty.)

29. అయితే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవా మార్గము న్యాయముకాదని చెప్పుచున్నారు. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, నా మార్గము న్యాయమేగాని మీ మార్గము న్యాయము కాదు.

29. And yet sayeth the house of Israel: Tush, the way of the Lord(LORDE) is not equal. Are my ways unright, O ye house of Israel: Are not your ways rather unequal?

30. కాబట్టి ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, యెవని ప్రవర్తననుబట్టి వానికి శిక్ష విధింతును. మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొని మీ అక్రమములు మీకు శిక్షాకారణములు కాకుండునట్లు వాటినన్నిటిని విడిచిపెట్టుడి.

30. As for me, I will judge every man, according to his ways, O ye house of Israel, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God) Wherefore be converted, and turn you clean from all your wickedness, so shall there no sin do you harm.

31. మీరు జరిగించిన అక్రమ క్రియలన్నిటిని విడిచి నూతన హృదయమును నూతన బుద్దియు తెచ్చుకొనుడి. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులారా, మీరెందుకు మరణము నొందుదురు? ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

31. Cast away from you all your ungodliness, that ye have done: make you new hearts and a new spirit. Wherefore will ye die, O ye house of Israel?

32. మరణమునొందువాడు మరణము నొందుటనుబట్టి నేను సంతోషించువాడను కాను. కావున మీరు మనస్సు త్రిప్పుకొనుడి అప్పుడు మీరు బ్రదుకుదురు; ఇదే ప్రభువగు యెహోవా వాక్కు.

32. seeing I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, sayeth the Lord GOD.(LORDE God) Turn you then, and ye shall live.
