1. And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the testimony, on the first of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,

2. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల వంశముల చొప్పున వారి వారి పితరుల కుటుంబములనుబట్టి వారి వారి పెద్దల చొప్పున మగవారినందరిని లెక్కించి సర్వసమాజ సంఖ్యను వ్రాయించుము.

2. Take the sum of all the congregation of the sons of Israel by their families, by the houses of their fathers, with the number of [their] names, every male by their polls,

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో సైన్యముగా వెళ్లు వారిని, అనగా ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయముగల వారిని, తమ తమ సేనలనుబట్టి నీవును అహరోనును లెక్కింపవలెను.

3. from twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel; thou and Aaron shall number them by their hosts.

4. మరియు ప్రతి గోత్రములో ఒకడు, అనగా తన పితరుల కుటుంబములో ముఖ్యుడు, మీతోకూడ ఉండవలెను.

4. And with you there shall be a man of every tribe, every one head of the house of his fathers.

5. మీతో కూడ ఉండవలసిన వారి పేళ్లు ఏవేవనగా రూబేను గోత్రములో షెదేయూరు కుమారుడైన ఏలీసూరు;

5. And these [are] the names of the men that shall stand with you: of [the tribe of] Reuben, Elizur, the son of Shedeur;

6. షిమ్యోను గోత్రములో సూరీషద్దాయి కుమారుడైన షెలుమీయేలు

6. of Simeon, Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai;

7. యూదా గోత్రములో అమ్మినాదాబు కుమారుడైన నయస్సోను

7. of Judah, Nahshon, the son of Amminadab;

8. ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రములో సూయారు కుమారుడైన నెతనేలు

8. of Issachar, Nethaneel, the son of Zuar;

9. జెబూలూను గోత్రములో హేలోను కుమారుడైన ఏలీయాబు

9. of Zebulun, Eliab, the son of Helon;

10. యోసేపు సంతానమందు, అనగా ఎఫ్రాయిము గోత్రములో అమీహూదు కుమారుడైన ఎలీషామాయు; మనష్షే గోత్రములో పెదాసూరు కుమారుడైన గమలీయేలు

10. of the sons of Joseph, of Ephraim, Elishama, the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur;

11. బెన్యామీను గోత్రములో గిద్యోనీ కుమారుడైన అబీదాను

11. of Benjamin, Abidan, the son of Gideoni;

12. దాను గోత్రములో ఆమీషద్దాయి కుమారుడైన అహీయెజెరు

12. of Dan, Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai;

13. ఆషేరు గోత్రములో ఒక్రాను కుమారుడైన పగీయేలు

13. of Asher, Pagiel, the son of Ocran;

14. గాదు గోత్రములో దెయూవేలు కుమారుడైన ఎలాసాపు

14. of Gad, Eliasaph, the son of Deuel;

15. నఫ్తాలి గోత్రములో ఏనాను కుమారుడైన అహీర అనునవి.

15. of Naphtali, Ahira, the son of Enan;

16. వీరు సమాజములో పేరు పొందినవారు. వీరు తమ తమ పితరుల గోత్రములలో ప్రధానులు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుటుంబములకు పెద్దలును.

16. these [were] the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, captains of the thousands of Israel.

17. పేళ్ల చేత వివరింపబడిన ఆ మనుష్యులను మోషే అహ రోనులు పిలుచుకొని రెండవ నెల మొదటి తేదిని సర్వ సమాజమును కూర్చెను.

17. And Moses and Aaron took these men who were designated by [their] names,

18. ఇరువది ఏండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయముగలవారు తమ తమ వంశావళులను బట్టి తమ తమ వంశములను తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబ ములను తమ తమ పెద్దల సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

18. and they assembled all the congregation together on the first of the second month, and they were gathered by their lineages, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls,

19. యెహోవా అతనికి ఆజ్ఞాపించినట్లు సీనాయి అరణ్యములో మోషే వారిని లెక్కించెను.

19. as the LORD had commanded Moses; and he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.

20. ఇశ్రాయేలు ప్రథమ కుమారుడైన రూబేను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియ చెప్పగా రూబేను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు నలుబది యారువేల ఐదువందలమంది యైరి.

20. And the sons of Reuben, [the] firstborn of Israel, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

21. షిమ్యోను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు

21. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Reuben, [were] forty-six thousand five hundred.

22. మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి పెద్దల సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

22. Of the sons of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, those that were numbered of him, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

23. షిమ్యోను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడినవారు ఏబది తొమ్మిదివేల మూడు వందలమంది యైరి.

23. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Simeon, [were] fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

24. గాదు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

24. Of the sons of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

25. గాదు గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడినవారు నలుబది యయిదువేల ఆరువందల ఏబదిమంది యైరి.

25. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Gad, [were] forty-five thousand six hundred and fifty.

26. యూదా పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలు కొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

26. Of the sons of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

27. యూదా గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు డెబ్బది నాలుగువేల ఆరువందలమంది యైరి.

27. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Judah, [were] seventy-four thousand six hundred.

28. ఇశ్శాఖారు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

28. Of the sons of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

29. ఇశ్శాఖారు గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ఏబది నాలుగువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

29. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Issachar, [were] fifty-four thousand four hundred.

30. జెబూలూను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పైప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

30. Of the sons of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

31. జెబూలూను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ఏబది యేడువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

31. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Zebulun, [were] fifty-seven thousand four hundred.

32. యోసేపు పుత్రుల వంశావళి, అనగా ఎఫ్రాయిము పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లు వారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

32. Of the sons of Joseph: of the sons of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

33. యోసేపు గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు నలుబదివేల ఐదువందల మంది యైరి.

33. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Ephraim, [were] forty thousand five hundred; [and]

34. మనష్షే పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

34. of the sons of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

35. మనష్షే గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు ముప్పది రెండువేల రెండు వందల మంది యైరి.

35. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Manasseh, [were] thirty-two thousand two hundred.

36. బెన్యామీను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

36. Of the sons of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

37. బెన్యామీను గోత్రములో లెక్కింపబడిన వారు ముప్పది యైదువేల నాలుగువందల మంది యైరి.

37. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Benjamin, [were] thirty-five thousand four hundred.

38. దాను పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లు వారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

38. Of the sons of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

39. దానుగోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు అరువది రెండువేల ఏడువందల మంది యైరి.

39. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Dan, [were] sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

40. ఆషేరు పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువదియేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

40. Of the sons of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

41. ఆషేరు గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు నలువది యొకవేయి ఐదువందలమంది యైరి.

41. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Asher, [were] forty-one thousand five hundred.

42. నఫ్తాలి పుత్రుల వంశావళి. తమ తమ వంశములలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా వెళ్లువారందరి సంఖ్యను తెలియచెప్పగా

42. Of the sons of Naphtali, by their generations, after their families, by the houses of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war,

43. నఫ్తాలి గోత్రములో లెక్కింప బడినవారు ఏబది మూడువేల నాలుగువందలమంది యైరి.

43. those that were numbered of them, of the tribe of Naphtali, [were] fifty-three thousand four hundred.

44. వీరు లెక్కింపబడినవారు, అనగా మోషేయు అహ రోనును తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబములనుబట్టి ఒక్కొక్క డుగా ఏర్పడిన ప్రధానులును లెక్కించిన వారు.

44. These [are] those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the twelve princes of Israel, one man for each house of his fathers.

45. అట్లు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో తమ తమ పితరుల కుటుంబముల చొప్పున లెక్కింపబడిన వారందరు, అనగా ఇరువది యేండ్లు మొదలుకొని పై ప్రాయము కలిగి సేనగా బయలు వెళ్లిన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరు

45. So were all those that were numbered of the sons of Israel, by the houses of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;

46. లెక్కింపబడి ఆరులక్షల మూడువేల ఐదువందల ఏబదిమంది యైరి.

46. all those that were numbered were six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.

47. అయితే లేవీయులు తమ పితరుల గోత్రము చొప్పున వారితో పాటు లెక్కింపబడలేదు.

47. But the Levites according to the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.

48. ఏలయనగా యెహోవా మోషేతో ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చియుండెను నీవు లేవీ గోత్రమును లెక్కింపకూడదు.

48. For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,

49. ఇశ్రాయేలీ యుల మొత్తమునకు వారి మొత్తమును చేర్చకూడదు.

49. Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the sons of Israel;

50. నీవు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారము మీదను దాని ఉపకరణము లన్నిటిమీదను దానిలో చేరిన వాటన్నిటి మీదను లేవీయులను నియమింపుము. వారే మందిరమును దాని ఉపకర ణములన్నిటిని మోయవలెను. వారు మందిరపు సేవ చేయుచు దానిచుట్టు దిగవలసిన వారై యుందురు.

50. But thou shalt place the Levites in the tabernacle of the testimony and over all the vessels thereof and over all things that [belong] to it; they shall bear the tabernacle and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister in it and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.

51. మందిరము సాగబోవునప్పుడు లేవీయులే దాని విప్పవలెను, మందిరము దిగునప్పుడు లేవీయులే దాని వేయవలెను. అన్యుడు సమీపించిన యెడల వాడు మరణశిక్ష నొందును.

51. And when the tabernacle departs, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up; and the stranger that comes near shall be put to death.

52. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు తమ తమ సేనల చొప్పున ప్రతివాడును తన తన పాళెములో తన తన ధ్వజము నొద్ద దిగవలెను.

52. And the sons of Israel shall pitch their tents, each man by his own camp and each man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.

53. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల సమాజముమీద కోపము రాకుండునట్లు లేవీయులు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారము చుట్టు దిగవలెను; వారు సాక్ష్యపు గుడారమును కాపాడవలెను.

53. But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of the testimony that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the sons of Israel; and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of the testimony.

54. యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన వాటన్నిటిని తప్పకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు చేసిరి.

54. And the sons of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.:
