14. నీ ప్రాణమునకు ఇష్టమైన ఫలములు నిన్ను విడిచిపోయెను, రుచ్యమైనవన్నియు దివ్యమైనవన్నియు నీకు దొరకకుండ నశించి పోయినవి, అవి యికమీదట కనబడనే కనబడవని చెప్పు కొనుచు, దానిగూర్చి దుఃఖపడుదురు.

14. And thin applis of the desire of thi lijf wenten awei fro thee, and alle fatte thingis, and ful clere perischiden fro thee.

15. And marchaundis of these thingis schulen no more fynde tho thingis. Thei that ben maad riche of it, schulen stonde fer, for drede of turmentis of it, wepynge, and mornynge, and seiynge, Wo!

16. అయ్యో, అయ్యో, సన్నపు నారబట్టలను ధూమ్రరక్త వర్ణపు వస్త్రములను ధరించుకొని, బంగారముతోను రత్నములతోను ముత్యములతోను అలంకరింపబడిన మహాపట్టణమా, యింత ఐశ్వర్యము ఒక్క గడియలోనే పాడైపోయెనే అని చెప్పుకొనుచు, దాని బాధను చూచి భయాక్రాంతులై దూరముగా నిలుచుందురు.

20. పరలోకమా, పరిశుద్ధులారా, అపొస్తలులారా, ప్రవక్తలారా, దానిగూర్చి ఆనం దించుడి, ఏలయనగా దానిచేత మీకు కలిగిన తీర్పుకు ప్రతిగా దేవుడు ఆ పట్టణమునకు తీర్పు తీర్చియున్నాడు.
