1. ఒక విశ్రాంతిదినమున ఆయన పంటచేలలోబడి వెళ్లు చుండగా, ఆయన శిష్యులు వెన్నులు త్రుంచి, చేతులతో నలుపుకొని, తినుచుండిరి.
ద్వితీయోపదేశకాండము 23:25

1. It happened on an after(after principal) Sabbath, they(that he) went thorow the corn field, and (that) his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and ate them, and rubbed them in their hands.

2. అప్పుడు పరిసయ్యులలో కొందరు విశ్రాంతిదినమున చేయదగనిది మీరెందుకు చేయుచున్నారని వారినడుగగా

2. (And) Certain of the pharisees said unto them: Why do ye that which is not lawful to be done on the Sabbath days?

3. యేసు వారితో ఇట్లనెను తానును తనతో కూడ ఉన్నవారును ఆకలిగొని నప్పుడు దావీదు ఏమిచేసెనో అదియైనను మీరు చదువ లేదా?

3. (And) Jesus answered them and said: Have ye not read what David did, when he himself was an hungered,(was hungry) and they which were with him:

4. అతడు దేవుని మందిరములో ప్రవేశించి, యాజకులు తప్ప మరి ఎవరును తినకూడని సముఖపు రొట్టెలు తీసికొని తిని, తనతో కూడ ఉన్నవారికిని ఇచ్చెను గదా అనెను.

4. how he went into the house of God, and took and ate the loaves of hallowed bread,(shewbread) and gave also to them which were with him: which was not lawful to eat, but for the priests only.

5. కాగా మనుష్యకుమారుడు విశ్రాంతిదినమునకును యజమానుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.

5. And he said unto them: The son of man is Lord even of the Sabbath day.

6. మరియొక విశ్రాంతిదినమున ఆయన సమాజమందిరము లోనికి వెళ్లి బోధించుచున్నప్పుడు, అక్కడ ఊచ కుడి చెయ్యిగలవాడొకడుండెను.

6. And it fortuned in another Sabbath also, that he entered into the synagogue and taught. And there was a man, whose right hand was dried up.(withered)

7. శాస్త్రులును పరిసయ్యులును ఆయనమీద నేరము మోపవలెనని, విశ్రాంతిదినమున స్వస్థ పరచునేమో అని ఆయనను కనిపెట్టుచుండిరి;

7. (And) The scribes, and pharisees watched him, to see whether he would heal on the Sabbath day or not, that they might find an accusation(occasion) against him.

8. అయితే ఆయన వారి ఆలోచన లెరిగి, ఊచచెయ్యిగలవాని తోనీవు లేచి మధ్యను నిలువుమని చెప్పగా, వాడు లేచి నిలిచెను.

8. But he knew(perceived) their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand: Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. (And) He arose, and stepped forth.

9. అప్పుడు యేసువిశ్రాంతిదినమున మేలుచేయుట ధర్మమా కీడుచేయుట ధర్మమా? ప్రాణరక్షణ ధర్మమా ప్రాణ హత్య ధర్మమా? అని మిమ్ము నడుగుచున్నానని వారితో చెప్పి

9. Then said Jesus unto them: I will ask you a question: Whether is it lawful on the Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life or for to destroy it?

10. వారినందరిని చుట్టు కలయజూచి నీ చెయ్యి చాపుమని వానితో చెప్పెను; వాడాలాగు చేయగానే వాని చెయ్యి బాగుపడెను.

10. And he beheld them all in compass, and said unto the man: Stretch forth thy hand. (And) He did so, and his hand was restored, and made as whole as the other.

11. అప్పుడు వారు వెఱ్ఱికోపముతో నిండుకొని, యేసును ఏమి చేయు దమా అని యొకనితోనొకడు మాటలాడుకొనిరి.

11. And they were filled full of madness, and communed one with another, what they might do to Jesu.

12. ఆ దినములయందు ఆయన ప్రార్థనచేయుటకు కొండకు వెళ్లి, దేవుని ప్రార్థించుటయందు రాత్రి గడిపెను.

12. (And) It fortuned in those days, (that) he went out into a mountain for to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

13. ఉదయమైనప్పుడు ఆయన తన శిష్యులను పిలిచి, వారిలో పండ్రెండుమందిని ఏర్పరచి, వారికి అపొస్తలులు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

13. And as soon as it was day, he called his disciples, and of them he chose twelve, which also he called his apostles.

14. వీరెవరనగా ఆయన ఎవనికి పేతురు అను మారుపేరు పెట్టెనో ఆ సీమోను, అతని సహోదరుడైన అంద్రెయ, యాకోబు, యోహాను, ఫిలిప్పు, బర్తొలొమయి,

14. Simon, whom also he named Peter: and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartlemew;

15. మత్తయి, తోమా, అల్ఫయి కుమారుడైన యాకోబు, జెలోతే అనబడిన సీమోను,

15. Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alpheus and Simon called Zelotes,

16. యాకోబు సహోదరుడైన యూదా, ద్రోహియగు ఇస్కరియోతు యూదా అను వారు.

16. and Judas James' son, and Judas Iscariot, which same was the traitor.

17. ఆయన వారితో కూడ దిగివచ్చి మైదానమందు నిలిచినప్పుడు ఆయన శిష్యుల గొప్ప సమూహమును, ఆయన బోధ వినుటకును తమ రోగములను కుదుర్చుకొనుట కును యూదయ దేశమంతటినుండియు, యెరూషలేము నుండియు, తూరు సీదోనను పట్టణముల సముద్ర తీరముల నుండియు వచ్చిన బహుజనసమూహ మును,

17. And he came down with them and stood in the plain field with the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all parts of Jury(Iurie) and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases,

18. అపవిత్రాత్మల చేత బాధింపబడినవారును వచ్చి స్వస్థతనొందిరి.

18. and they also that were vexed with foul spirits, and they were healed.

19. ప్రభావము ఆయనలోనుండి బయలుదేరి అందరిని స్వస్థపరచు చుండెను గనుక జనసమూహమంతయు ఆయనను ముట్ట వలెనని యత్నముచేసెను.

19. And all the people pressed(sought) to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

20. అంతట ఆయన తన శిష్యులతట్టు పారచూచి ఇట్లనెను బీదలైన మీరు ధన్యులు, దేవునిరాజ్యము మీది.

20. And he lifted up his eyes upon the disciples, and said: Blessed are(be) ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

21. ఇప్పుడు అకలిగొనుచున్న మీరు ధన్యులు, మీరు తృప్తి పరచబడుదురు. ఇప్పుడు ఏడ్చుచున్న మీరు ధన్యులు, మీరు నవ్వుదురు.

21. Blessed are ye that hunger: (now) for ye shall be satisfied. Blessed are ye that weep: (now) for ye shall laugh.

22. మనుష్యకుమారుని నిమిత్తము మనుష్యులు మిమ్మును ద్వేషించి వెలివేసి నిందించి మీ పేరు చెడ్డదని కొట్టివేయునప్పుడు మీరు ధన్యులు.

22. Blessed are ye when men hate you, and thrust you out of their company, and rail on(revile) you, and abhor your name, as an evil thing, for the son of man's sake.

23. ఆ దినమందు మీరు సంతోషించి గంతులు వేయుడి; ఇదిగో మీ ఫలము పరలోకమందు గొప్పదై యుండును; వారి పిత రులు ప్రవక్తలకు అదే విధముగా చేసిరి.

23. Rejoice ye then, and be glad: for behold your reward is great in heaven. After this manner their fathers entreated the prophets.

24. అయ్యో, ధన వంతులారా, మీరు (కోరిన) ఆదరణ మీరు పొంది యున్నారు.

24. But woe be to you that are rich: for ye have therein your consolation.

25. అయ్యో యిప్పుడు (కడుపు) నిండియున్న వారలారా, మీరాకలిగొందురు. అయ్యో యిప్పుడు నవ్వుచున్నవారలారా, మీరు దుఃఖించి యేడ్తురు.

25. Woe be to you that are full: for ye shall hunger. Woe be to you that now laugh: for ye shall wail, and weep.

26. మనుష్యులందరు మిమ్మును కొనియాడునప్పుడు మీకు శ్రమ; వారి పితరులు అబద్ధప్రవక్తలకు అదే విధముగా చేసిరి.

26. Woe be to you when all men praise you: for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

27. వినుచున్న మీతో నేను చెప్పునదేమనగా మీ శత్రువులను ప్రేమించుడి, మిమ్మును ద్వేషించువారికి మేలు చేయుడి,

27. But I say unto you which hear: Love your enemies. Do good to them which hate you.

28. మిమ్మును శపించువారిని దీవించుడి, మిమ్మును బాధించువారికొరకు ప్రార్థనచేయుడి.

28. Bless them that curse you. And pray for them which wrongfully trouble you.

29. నిన్ను ఒక చెంప మీద కొట్టువాని వైపునకు రెండవ చెంపకూడ త్రిప్పుము. నీ పైబట్ట ఎత్తికొని పోవువానిని, నీ అంగీని కూడ ఎత్తి కొనిపోకుండ అడ్డగింపకుము.

29. And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek, offer also the other. And him that taketh away thy gown, forbid not to take thy coat also.

30. నిన్నడుగు ప్రతివానికిని ఇమ్ము; నీ సొత్తు ఎత్తికొని పోవు వానియొద్ద దాని మరల అడుగవద్దు.

30. Give to every man that asketh of thee. And if any man(of him that taketh) that take away thy goods, ask them not again.

31. మనుష్యులు మీకేలాగు చేయవలెనని మీరు కోరుదురో ఆలాగు మీరును వారికి చేయుడి.

31. And as ye would that men should do to you: so do ye to them likewise.

32. మిమ్మును ప్రేమించువారినే మీరు ప్రేమించినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పు కలుగును? పాపులును తమ్మును ప్రేమించు వారిని ప్రేమింతురు గదా

32. If ye love them which love you: what thank are ye worthy of? seeing that(For) the very sinners love their lovers.

33. మీకు మేలు చేయువారికే మేలు చేసినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పుకలుగును? పాపులును ఆలాగే చేతురు గదా

33. And if ye do for them which do for you: what thank are ye worthy of? For the very sinners do even the same.

34. మీరెవరియొద్ద మరల పుచ్చుకొనవలెనని నిరీక్షింతురో వారికే అప్పు ఇచ్చినయెడల మీకేమి మెప్పు కలుగును? పాపులును తామిచ్చినంత మరల పుచ్చుకొన వలెనని పాపులకు అప్పు ఇచ్చెదరు గదా.

34. If ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive: what thank shall ye have: for the very sinners, lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

35. మీరైతే ఎట్టి వారిని గూర్చియైనను నిరాశ చేసికొనక మీ శత్రువులను ప్రేమించుడి, మేలుచేయుడి, అప్పు ఇయ్యుడి; అప్పుడు మీ ఫలము గొప్పదైయుండును, మీరు సర్వోన్నతుని కుమారులై యుందురు. ఆయన, కృతజ్ఞతలేనివారియెడ లను దుష్టులయెడలను ఉపకారియై యున్నాడు.
లేవీయకాండము 25:35-36

35. (Wherefore,) Love ye your enemies, do good, and lend, looking for nothing again: and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the highest: for he is kind unto the unkind,(unthankful) and to the evil.

36. కాబట్టి మీ తండ్రి కనికరముగలవాడై యున్నట్టు మీరును కనికరముగలవారై యుండుడి.

36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your father is merciful.

37. తీర్పు తీర్చకుడి, అప్పుడు మిమ్మును గూర్చి తీర్పు తీర్చబడదు; నేరము మోపకుడి, అప్పుడు మీ మీద నేరము మోపబడదు;

37. Judge not and ye shall not be judged. Condemn not: and ye shall not be condemned. Forgive, and ye shall be forgiven.

38. క్షమించుడి, అప్పుడు మీరు క్షమింపబడుదురు; ఇయ్యుడి, అప్పుడు మీకియ్యబడును; అణచి, కుదిలించి, దిగజారునట్లు నిండు కొలతను మనుష్యులు మీ ఒడిలో కొలుతురు. మీరు ఏ కొలతతో కొలుతురో ఆ కొలతతోనే మీకు మరల కొలువబడునని చెప్పెను.

38. Give, and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosoms. For with what measure ye mete, with the same shall men mete(shall it be measured) to you again.

39. మరియు ఆయన వారితో ఈ ఉపమానము చెప్పెనుగ్రుడ్డివాడు గ్రుడ్డివానికి దారి చూపగలడా? వారిద్దరును గుంటలో పడుదురు గదా.

39. And he put forth a similitude unto them: Can the blind lead the blind? Do they not both then fall into the ditch?

40. శిష్యుడు తన బోధకునికంటె అధికుడు కాడు; సిద్ధుడైన ప్రతివాడును తన బోధకునివలె ఉండును.

40. The disciple is not above his master. Every man shall be perfect, even as his master is.

41. నీవు నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూలము ఎంచక నీ సహోదరుని కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును చూడనేల?

41. Why seest thou a mote in thy brother's eye, and considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

42. నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూలమును చూడక నీ సహోదరునితో సహోదరుడా, నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును తీసివేయ నిమ్మని నీవేలాగు చెప్ప గలవు? వేషధారీ, మొదట నీ కంటిలో ఉన్న దూల మును తీసివేయుము, అప్పుడు నీ సహోదరుని కంటిలో ఉన్న నలుసును తీసివేయుటకు నీకు తేటగా కనబడును.

42. Other(Either) how canst thou say to thy brother: Brother let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye: when thou perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Hypocrite, cast out the beam out of thine own eye first, and then shalt thou see perfectly,(clearly) to pull out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

43. ఏ మంచి చెట్టునను పనికిమాలినఫల ములు ఫలింపవు, పనికిమాలిన చెట్టున మంచి ఫలములు ఫలింపవు.

43. It is not a good tree that bringeth forth evil fruit: Neither is that an evil tree, that bringeth forth good fruit.

44. ప్రతి చెట్టు తన ఫలములవలన తెలియబడును. ముండ్లపొదలో అంజూరపు పండ్లు ఏరుకొనరు; కోరింద పొదలో ద్రాక్షపండ్లు కోయరు.

44. For every tree is known by his fruit. Neither of thorns gather men figs, nor of bushes gather they grapes.

45. సజ్జనుడు, తన హృద యమను మంచి ధననిధి లోనుండి సద్విషయములను బయ టికి తెచ్చును; దుర్జనుడు చెడ్డ ధననిధిలోనుండి దుర్విషయ ములను బయటికి తెచ్చును. హృదయము నిండియుండు దానినిబట్టి యొకని నోరు మాటలాడును.

45. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good. And the(an) evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart, bringeth forth that which is evil. For of the abundance of the heart, the(his) mouth(mought) speaketh.

46. నేను చెప్పు మాటల ప్రకారము మీరు చేయక ప్రభువా ప్రభువా, అని నన్ను పిలుచుట ఎందుకు?
మలాకీ 1:6

46. Why call ye me Master, Master: and do not as I bid you?

47. నా యొద్దకు వచ్చి, నా మాటలు విని వాటిచొప్పున చేయు ప్రతివాడును ఎవని పోలియుండునో మీకు తెలియ జేతును.

47. whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doth the same, I will shew you to whom he is like.

48. వాడు ఇల్లు కట్టవలెనని యుండి లోతుగా త్రవ్వి, బండమీద పునాది వేసినవాని పోలి యుండును. వరదవచ్చి ప్రవాహము ఆ యింటిమీద వడిగా కొట్టినను, అది బాగుగా కట్టబడినందున దాని కదలింపలేకపోయెను.

48. He is like a man which built an house: which(and) digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock. When the waters arose, the flood beat upon that house, and could not move it. For it was grounded upon a rock.

49. అయితే నా మాటలు వినియు చేయనివాడు పునాది వేయక నేలమీద ఇల్లు కట్టిన వానిని పోలియుండును. ప్రవాహము దానిమీద వడిగా కొట్టగానే అది కూలిపడెను; ఆ యింటిపాటు గొప్పదని చెప్పెను.

49. But he that heareth and doth not, is like a man, that without foundation built an house upon the earth, against which, the flood(did) beat: and it fell by and by. And the fall of that house was great.
