1. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు తనకు కలిగినదంతయు తీసికొని ప్రయాణమై బెయేర్షెబాకు వచ్చి తన తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు దేవునికి బలులనర్పించెను.

1. Then Israel tooke his iourney with all that he had, and came to Beer-sheba, and offered sacrifice vnto the God of his father Izhak.

2. అప్పుడు రాత్రి దర్శనములయందు దేవుడు - యాకోబూ యాకోబూ అని ఇశ్రాయేలును పిలిచెను. అందుకతడు - చిత్తము ప్రభువా అనెను.

2. And God spake vnto Israel in a vision by night, saying, Iaakob, Iaakob. Who answered, I am here.

3. ఆయన నేనే దేవుడను, నీ తండ్రి దేవుడను, ఐగుప్తునకు వెళ్లుటకు భయపడకుము, అక్కడ నిన్ను గొప్పజనముగా చేసెదను.

3. Then hee sayde, I am God, the God of thy father, feare not to goe downe into Egypt: for I will there make of thee a great nation.

4. నేను ఐగుప్తునకు నీతోగూడ వచ్చెదను, అంతేకాదు నేను నిశ్చయముగా నిన్ను తిరిగి తీసికొని వచ్చెదను, యోసేపు నీ కన్నుల మీద తన చెయ్యియుంచునని సెలవియ్యగా

4. I wil go downe with thee into Egypt, and I will also bring thee vp againe, and Ioseph shall put his hand vpon thine eyes.

5. యాకోబు లేచి బెయేర్షెబా నుండి వెళ్లెను. ఫరో అతని నెక్కించి తీసికొని వచ్చుటకు పంపిన బండ్లమీద ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారులు తమ తండ్రియైన యాకోబును తమ పిల్లలను తమ భార్యలను ఎక్కించిరి.

5. Then Iaakob rose vp from Beer-sheba: and the sonnes of Israel caried Iaakob their father, and their children, and their wiues in the charets, which Pharaoh had sent to cary him.

6. వారు, అనగా యాకోబును అతని యావత్తు సంతానమును, తమ పశువులను తాము కనానులో సంపాదించిన సంపద యావత్తును తీసికొని ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి.

6. And they tooke their cattell and their goods, which they had gotten in the lande of Canaan, and came into Egypt, both Iaakob and all his seede with him,

7. అతడు తన కుమారులను తన కుమారుల కుమారులను తన కుమార్తెలను తన కుమారుల కుమార్తెలను తన యావత్తు సంతానమును ఐగుప్తునకు తనతోకూడ తీసికొనివచ్చెను.

7. His sonnes and his sonnes sonnes with him, his daughters and his sonnes daughters, and al his seede brought he with him into Egypt.

8. యాకోబును అతని కుమారులును ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిరి. ఇశ్రాయేలు కుమారుల పేళ్లు ఇవే;

8. And these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt, euen Iaakob and his sonnes: Reuben, Iaakobs first borne.

9. యాకోబు జ్యేష్ఠ కుమారుడు రూబేను. రూబేను కుమారులైన హనోకు పల్లు హెస్రోను కర్మీ.

9. And the sonnes of Reuben: Hanoch, and Phallu, and Hezron, and Carmi.

10. షిమ్యోను కుమారులైన యెమూయేలు యామీను ఓహదు యాకీను సోహరు కనానీయురాలి కుమారుడైన షావూలు.

10. And the sonnes of Simeon: Iemuel, and Iamin, and Ohad, and Iachin, and Zohar; and Shaul the sonne of a Canaanitish woman.

11. లేవి కుమారులైన గెర్షోను కహాతు మెరారి

11. Also the sonnes of Leui: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.

12. యూదా కుమారులైన ఏరు ఓనాను షేలా పెరెసు జెరహు. ఆ ఏరును ఓనానును కనాను దేశములో చనిపోయిరి. పెరెసు కుమారులైన హెస్రోను హామూలు.

12. Also the sonnes of Iudah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, and Pharez, and Zerah: (but Er and Onan died in ye land of Canaan) And the sonnes of Pharez were Hezron and Hamul.

13. ఇశ్శాఖారు కుమారులైన తోలా పువ్వా యోబు షిమ్రోను.

13. Also the sonnes of Issachar: Tola, and Phuuah, and Iob, and Shimron.

14. జెబూలూను కుమారులైన సెరెదు ఏలోను యహలేలు.

14. Also the sonnes of Zebulun: Sered, and Elon, and Iahleel.

15. వీరు లేయా కుమారులు. ఆమె పద్దనరాములో యాకోబు వారిని అతని కుమార్తెయైన దీనాను కనెను. అతని కుమారులును అతని కుమార్తెలును అందరును ముప్పది ముగ్గురు.

15. These bee the sonnes of Leah, which shee bare vnto Iaakob in Padan Aram, with his daughter Dinah. All the soules of his sonnes and his daughters were thirtie and three.

16. గాదు కుమారులైన సిప్యోను హగ్గీ షూనీ ఎస్బోను ఏరీ ఆరోదీ అరేలీ.

16. Also the sonnes of Gad: Ziphion, and Haggi, Shuni, and Ezbon, Eri, and Arodi, and Areli.

17. ఆషేరు కుమారులైన ఇమ్నా ఇష్వా ఇష్వీ బెరీయా; వారి సహోదరియైన శెరహు. ఆ బెరీయా కుమారులైన హెబెరు మల్కీయేలు.

17. Also the sonnes of Asher: Iimnah, and Ishuah, and Isui, and Beriah, and Serah their sister. And the sonnes of Beriah: Heber, and Malchiel.

18. లాబాను తన కుమార్తెయైన లేయా కిచ్చిన జిల్పా కుమారులు వీరే . ఆమె యీ పదునారు మందిని యాకోబునకు కనెను.

18. These are the children of Zilpah, whome Laban gaue to Leah his daughter: and these shee bare vnto Iaakob, euen sixtene soules.

19. యాకోబు భార్యయైన రాహేలు కుమారులైన యోసేపు బెన్యామీను.

19. The sonnes of Rahel Iaakobs wife were Ioseph and Beniamin.

20. యోసేపునకు మనష్షే ఎఫ్రాయిములు పుట్టిరి. వారిని ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఓనుకు యాజకుడగు పోతీఫెర కుమార్తెయైన ఆసెనతు అతనికి కనెను.

20. And vnto Ioseph in the lande of Egypt were borne Manasseh, and Ephraim, which Asenath the daughter of Poti-pherah prince of On bare vnto him.

21. బెన్యామీను కుమారులైన బెల బేకెరు అష్బేలు గెరా నయమాను ఏహీరోషు ముప్పీము హుప్పీము ఆర్దు.

21. Also the sonnes of Beniamin: Belah, and Becher, and Ashbel, Gera, and Naaman, Ehi, and Rosh, Muppim, and Huppim, and Ard.

22. యాకోబునకు రాహేలు కనిన కుమారులగు వీరందరు పదునలుగురు.

22. These are the sonnes of Rahel, which were borne vnto Iaakob, fourteene soules in all.

23. దాను కుమారుడైన హుషీము.

23. Also the sonnes of Dan: Hushim.

24. నఫ్తాలి కుమారులైన యహనేలు గూనీ యేసెరు షిల్లేము.

24. Also the sonnes of Naphtali: Iahzeel, and Guni, and Iezer, and Shillem.

25. లాబాను తన కుమార్తెయైన రాహేలునకు ఇచ్చిన బిల్హా కుమారులు వీరే. ఆమె వారిని యాకోబునకు కనెను. వారందరు ఏడుగురు.

25. These are the sonnes of Bilhah, which Laban gaue vnto Rahel his daughter, and shee bare these to Iaakob, in all, seuen soules.

26. యాకోబు కోడండ్రను వినాయించి అతని గర్భవాసమున పుట్టి యాకోబుతో ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిన వారందరు అరువది ఆరుగురు.

26. Al the soules, that came with Iaakob into Egypt, which came out of his loynes (beside Iaakobs sonnes wiues) were in the whole, three score and sixe soules.

27. ఐగుప్తులో అతనికి పుట్టిన యోసేపు కుమారులిద్దరు; ఐగుప్తునకు వచ్చిన యాకోబు కుటుంబపు వారందరు డెబ్బది మంది.

27. Also the sonnes of Ioseph, which were borne him in Egypt, were two soules: so that al the soules of the house of Iaakob, which came into Egypt, are seuentie.

28. అతడు గోషెనుకు త్రోవ చూపుటకు యోసేపు నొద్దకు తనకు ముందుగా యూదాను పంపెను. వారు గోషెను దేశమునకు రాగా

28. The he sent Iudah before him vnto Ioseph, to direct his way vnto Goshen, and they came into the land of Goshen.

29. యోసేపు తన రథమును సిద్ధము చేయించి తన తండ్రియైన ఇశ్రాయేలును ఎదుర్కొనుటకు గోషెనుకు వెళ్లి అతనికి కనబడెను. అప్పుడతడు అతని మెడమీద పడి అతని మెడ పట్టుకొని యెంతో ఏడ్చెను.

29. Then Ioseph made ready his charet and went vp to Goshen to meete Israel his father, and presented himselfe vnto him and fel on his necke, and wept vpon his necke a good while.

30. అప్పుడు ఇశ్రాయేలు యోసేపుతో - నీవింక బ్రదికియున్నావు; నీ ముఖము చూచితిని గనుక నేనికను చనిపోవుదునని చెప్పెను.

30. And Israel sayde vnto Ioseph, Now let me die, since I haue seene thy face, and that thou art yet aliue.

31. యోసేపు తన సహోదరులను తన తండ్రి కుటుంబపు వారినిచూచి - నేను వెళ్లి యిది ఫరోకు తెలియచేసి, కనాను దేశములో ఉండిన నా సహోదరులును నా తండ్రి కుటుంబపువారును నాయొద్దకు వచ్చిరి;

31. Then Ioseph said to his brethren, and to his fathers house, I wil go vp and shew Pharaoh, and tell him, My brethren and my fathers house, which were in the land of Canaan, are come vnto me,

32. ఆ మనుష్యులు పశువులు గలవారు, వారు గొఱ్ఱెల కాపరులు. వారు తమ గొఱ్ఱెలను పశువులను తమకు కలిగినదంతయు తీసికొనివచ్చిరని అతనితో చెప్పెదను.

32. And the men are shepheardes, and because they are shepheardes, they haue brought their sheepe and their cattell, and all that they haue.

33. గొఱ్ఱెల కాపరియైన ప్రతివాడు ఐగుప్తీయులకు హేయుడు గనుక ఫరో మిమ్మును పిలిపించి మీ వృత్తి యేమిటని అడిగినయెడల

33. And if Pharaoh call you, and aske you, What is your trade?

34. మీరు గోషెను దేశమందు కాపురముండునట్లు - మా చిన్నతనమునుండి ఇదివరకు నీ దాసులమైన మేమును మా పూర్వికులును పశువులు గల వారమై యున్నామని ఉత్తరమియ్యుడని చెప్పెను.

34. Then ye shall say, Thy seruants are men occupied about cattell, from our childehood euen vnto this time, both we and our fathers: that yee may dwell in the lande of Goshen: for euery sheepe keeper is an abomination vnto the Egyptians.
