1. దావీదు రచించిన చివరి మాటలు ఇవే; యెష్షయి కుమారుడగు దావీదు పలికిన దేవోక్తి యిదే;యాకోబు దేవునిచేత అభిషిక్తుడై మహాధిపత్యము నొందినవాడును ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల స్తోత్రగీతములను మధురగానము చేసిన గాయకుడునగు దావీదు పలికిన దేవోక్తి యిదే.

1. These also be the last wordes of Dauid: Dauid the sonne of Isai said: and ye man which was ordayned the annoynted of the God of Iacob and the sweete Psalmist of Israel, sayde:

2. యెహోవా ఆత్మ నా ద్వారా పలుకుచున్నాడుఆయన వాక్కు నా నోట ఉన్నది.
మత్తయి 22:43

2. The spirite of the Lorde spake by me, and his word was in my tongue.

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆశ్రయదుర్గమగువాడు నాద్వారా మాటలాడుచున్నాడు.మనుష్యులను ఏలు నొకడు పుట్టును అతడు నీతిమంతుడై దేవునియందు భయభక్తులు గలిగి యేలును.

3. The God of Israel spake to me, euen the most mightie of Israel sayde: A ruler ouer men being iust, ruling in ye feare of God:

4. ఉదయకాలపు సూర్యోదయ కాంతివలెను మబ్బు లేకుండ ఉదయించిన సూర్యునివలెను వర్షము కురిసినపిమ్మట నిర్మలమైన కాంతిచేత భూమిలోనుండి పుట్టిన లేత గడ్డివలెను అతడు ఉండును.

4. And as the morning lyght when the sunne is vp, a morning in which are no cloudes, [so shal my house be, but not] as the grasse of the earth is by bryghtnesse and rayne.

5. నా సంతతివారు దేవుని దృష్టికి అనుకూలులే గదా ఆయన నాతో నిత్యనిబంధన చేసియున్నాడు ఆయన నిబంధన సర్వసంపూర్ణమైన నిబంధనే అది స్థిరమాయెను, దేవునికి పూర్ణానుకూలము అది నాకనుగ్రహింపబడిన రక్షణార్థమైనది నిశ్చయముగా ఆయన దానిని నెరవేర్చును.

5. For so shal not my house be with God: For he hath made with me an euerlasting couenaunt, perfect and sure in all poyntes: and this is truly all my health, and all my desyre, that it growe, but not as grasse.

6. ఒకడు ముండ్లను చేత పట్టుకొనుటకు భయపడినట్లు దుర్మార్గులు విసర్జింపబడుదురు.

6. But the vngodly man, shall be as a thorne cleane pluckt vp, which can not be taken with handes:

7. ముండ్లను పట్టుకొనువాడు ఇనుప పనిముట్టునైనను బల్లెపు కోలనైనను వినియోగించును గదా మనుష్యులు వాటిలో దేనిని విడువక అంతయు ఉన్నచోటనే కాల్చివేయుదురు.

7. But the man that shall touche them, must be defenced with iron, or with the shaft of a speare, and they shalbe burnt with fire in the same place.

8. దావీదు అనుచరులలో బలాఢ్యులెవరనగా యోషే బెష్షెబెతను ముఖ్యుడగు తక్మోనీయుడు; అతడు ఒక యుద్ధములో ఎనిమిది వందల మందిని హతము చేసెను.

8. These be the names of the mightie men whom Dauid had: One that sate in the seate of wisedome, being chiefest among the princes, was Adino of Ezni, he slue eyght hundred at one tyme.

9. ఇతని తరువాతివాడు అహోహీయుడైన దోదో కుమారు డైన ఎలియాజరు, ఇతడు దావీదు ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులలో ఒకడు. యుద్ధమునకు కూడివచ్చిన ఫిలిష్తీయులు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులను తిరస్కరించి డీకొని వచ్చినప్పుడు ఇశ్రా యేలీయులు వెళ్లిపోగా ఇతడు లేచి

9. After him was Eliazar the sonne of Dodo the sonne of Ahohi, one of the three worthies with Dauid, which defyed the Philistines that were there gathered together to battaile, when the men of Israel were gone vp.

10. చేయి తివిు్మరిగొని కత్తి దానికి అంటుకొని పోవువరకు ఫిలిష్తీయులను హతము చేయుచు వచ్చెను. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీ యులకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగజేసెను. దోపుడుసొమ్ము పట్టుకొనుటకు మాత్రము జనులు అతనివెనుక వచ్చిరి.

10. He arose and layed on the Philistines, vntill his hand was weery, and claue vnto the sword: And the Lorde gaue great victory the same day, and the people returned after him, only to spoyle.

11. ఇతని తరువాతి వారెవరనగా హరారీయుడగు ఆగే కుమారు డైన షమ్మా;ఫిలిష్తీయులు అలచందల చేనిలో గుంపుకూడగాజనులు ఫిలిష్తీయులయెదుట నిలువలేక పారిపోయిరి.

11. After him was Samma the sonne of Age the Hararite: & the Philistines gathered together besyde a towne, where was a parcell of land full of lentils, and the people fled from the Philistines:

12. అప్పుడితడు ఆ చేని మధ్యను నిలిచి ఫిలిష్తీయులు దాని మీదికి రాకుండ వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టి వారిని హతము చేయుటవలన యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగ జేసెను.

12. But he stoode in ye middest of the groud, and defended it, & slue the Philistines: and the Lorde gaue great victorie.

13. మరియు ముప్పదిమంది అధిపతులలో శ్రేష్ఠులైన ముగ్గురు కోతకాలమున అదుల్లాము గుహలోనున్న దావీదు నొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పుడు ఫిలిష్తీయులు రెఫాయీము లోయలో దండు దిగియుండిరి,

13. These three (which were of the thirtie chiefe captaines) went downe to Dauid in the haruest tyme vnto the caue Adullam: and the hoast of the Philistines pytched in the valley of giauntes.

14. దావీదు దుర్గములో నుండెను, ఫిలిష్తీయుల దండు కావలివారు బేత్లె హేములో ఉండిరి.

14. And Dauid was then in an houlde, and the souldiers of ye Philistines were in Bethlehem.

15. దావీదుబేత్లెహేము గవిని దగ్గరనున్న బావి నీళ్లు ఎవడైనను నాకు తెచ్చి యిచ్చినయెడల ఎంతో సంతోషించెదనని అధికారితో పలుకగా

15. And Dauid longed, & saide: Oh that I had of the water that is in the wel by the gate of Bethlehem for to drynke.

16. ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులు ఫిలిష్తీయుల దండు కావలివారిని ఓడించి, దారి చేసికొని పోయి బేత్లెహేము గవిని దగ్గరనున్న బావినీళ్లు చేది దావీదునొద్దకు తీసికొనివచ్చిరి; అయితే అతడు ఆ నీళ్లు త్రాగుటకు మనస్సులేక యెహోవా సన్నిధిని పారబోసియెహోవా, నేను ఇవి త్రాగను;

16. And the three mightie brake through the hoast of the Philistines, & drue water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, and toke and brought it to Dauid: Neuerthelesse he would not drinke thereof, but powred it vnto the Lorde,

17. ప్రాణమునకు తెగించి పోయి తెచ్చినవారి చేతి నీళ్లు త్రాగుదునా? అని చెప్పి త్రాగనొల్లకుండెను. ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులు ఈ కార్యములు చేసిరి.

17. And saide, The Lorde forbyd that I should do so: Is not this the blood of the men that went in ieoperdie of theyr lyues? & therefore he would not drinke it. And these thinges did these three mightie men.

18. సెరూయా కుమారుడును యోవాబు సహోదరుడునైన అబీషై తన అనుచరులలో ముఖ్యుడు. ఇతడొక యుద్ధములో మూడువందలమందిని హతముచేసి వారిమీద తన యీటెను ఆడించెను. ఇతడు ఆ ముగ్గు రిలో పేరుపొందినవాడు.

18. Abisai the brother of Ioab the sonne of Zaruia, was chiefe among the three, & he lyft vp his speare against three hundred, and slue them, & had the name among the three:

19. ఇతడు ఆ ముప్పదిమందిలో ఘనుడై వారికి అధిపతి యాయెను గాని మొదటి ముగ్గురితో సమానుడు కాకపోయెను.

19. For he was most excellent of the three, and was their captayne: Howbeit he attayned not vnto [the first] three.

20. మరియు కబ్సెయేలు ఊరివాడై క్రియలచేత ఘనతనొందిన యొక పరాక్రమశాలికి పుట్టిన యెహోయాదా కుమారుడైన బెనాయా అను నొకడు ఉండెను. ఇతడు మోయాబీయుల సంబంధులగు ఆ యిద్దరు శూరులను హతముచేసెను; మరియు మంచుకాలమున బయలువెడలి బావిలో దాగి యున్న యొక సింహమును చంపి వేసెను.

20. And Banaiah the sonne of Iehoida the sonne of a mightie man, valiaunt in actes, of Rabzeel, slue two strog men of Moab: He went downe also, and slue a lion in the middest of a pit in time of snowe.

21. ఇంకను అతడు సౌందర్యవంతుడైన యొక ఐగుప్తీయుని చంపెను. ఈ ఐగుప్తీయుని చేతిలో ఈటెయుండగా బెనాయా దుడ్డు కఱ్ఱ తీసికొని వాని మీదికి పోయి వాని చేతిలోని యీటె ఊడలాగి దానితోనే వాని చంపెను.

21. And he slue an Egyptian a goodly bigge man, and the Egyptian had a speare in his hand: But he went downe to him with a staffe, and plucked the speare out of the Egyptians hand, and slue him with his owne speare.

22. ఈ కార్యములు యెహోయాదా కుమారుడైన బెనాయా చేసినందున ఆ ముగ్గురు బలాఢ్యులలోను అతడు పేరుపొంది

22. These thinges did Banaiah ye sonne of Iehoida, and had the name among the three worthies.

23. ఆ ముప్పది మందిలో ఘనుడాయెను. అయినను మొదటి ముగ్గురితో సమానుడు కాకపోయెను. దావీదు ఇతనిని తన సభికులలో ఒకనిగా నియమించెను.

23. He was honorable among thirtie, but he attayned not to [the first] three: And Dauid made him of his counsel.

24. ఆ ముప్పదిమంది యెవరనగా, యోవాబు సహోదరుడైన అశాహేలు, బేత్లెహేమీయుడగు దోదో కుమారుడగు ఎల్హానాను,

24. Asahel the brother of Ioab, was one of the thirtie: Elhanan the sonne of Dodo, of Bethlehem:

25. హరోదీయుడైన షమ్మా, హరోదీయుడైన ఎలీకా,

25. Samma the Harodite, Elica the Harodite,

26. పత్తీయుడైన హేలెస్సు, తెకోవీయుడగు ఇక్కేషు కుమారుడైన ఈరా,

26. (23:25) Helez the Paltite, Ira the sonne of Acces the Thecoite:

27. అనాతోతీయుడైన అబీ యెజరు, హుషాతీయుడైన మెబున్నయి,

27. (23:26) Abiezer of Anathoth, Mebunnai ye Husathite:

28. అహోహీయుడైన సల్మోను, నెటోపాతీయుడైన మహరై

28. (23:27) Zelmon an Ahohite, Maharai the Netophathite:

29. నెటోపాతీయుడైన బయానాకు పుట్టిన హేలెబు, బెన్యామీనీయుల గిబియాలో పుట్టిన రీబై కుమారుడైన ఇత్తయి,

29. (23:28) Heleb the sonne of Baanah an Netophatite, Ithai the sonne of Ribai out of Gibea of the children of Beniamin:

30. పరాతోనీయుడైన బెనాయా, గాయషు ఏళ్లనడుమ నివసించు హిద్దయి,

30. (23:29) Banaiah the Pirathonite, Heddai of the ryuer of Gaas:

31. అర్బాతీయుడైన అబీయల్బోను, బర్హుమీయుడైన అజ్మావెతు,

31. (23:30) Abialbon the Arbathite, Asmaueth the Barhumite:

32. షయల్బోనీయుడైన ఎల్యహ్బా, యాషేను యొక్క కుమారులలో యోనాతాను,

32. (23:31) Eliahba a Saalbonite: of the sonnes of Iasen, Ionathan:

33. హరారీయుడైన షమ్మా, హరారీయుడైన షారారు నకు పుట్టిన అహీ యాము,

33. (23:32) Samma the Hararite, Ahiam ye sonne of Sarar an Hararite:

34. మాయాకాతీయునికి పుట్టిన అహస్బయి కుమారుడైన ఎలీపేలెటు, గిలోనీయుడైన అహీతో పెలు కుమారుడగు ఏలీయాము,

34. (23:33) Eliphelet ye sonne of Aasbai the sonne of Maachathi, Eliam the sonne of Ahithophel the Gilonite:

35. కర్మెతీయుడైన హెస్రై, అర్బీయుడైన పయరై,

35. (23:34) Hezrai the Carmelite, Paarai the Arbite.

36. సోబావాడగు నాతాను యొక్క కుమారుడైన ఇగాలు, గాదీయుడైన బానీ,

36. (23:35) Igal the sonne of Nathan of Zoba, Bani the Gadite:

37. అమ్మోనీయుడైన జెలెకు, బెయేరోతీయుడైన నహరై, యితడు సెరూయా కుమారుడగు యోవాబుయొక్క ఆయుధములను మోయువాడై యుండెను.

37. (23:36) Zelec the Ammonite, Naharai the Berothite, which was the harnesse bearer of Ioab the sonne of Zaruia:

38. ఇత్రీయుడైన ఈరా, ఇత్రీయుడైన గారేబు,

38. (23:37) Ira the Iethrite, Gareb ye Iethrite:

39. హిత్తీయుడైన ఊరియా. వారందరు ముప్పది యేడుగురు.

39. (23:38) Aria the Hethite: thirtie and seuen in all.
