1. మరియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

1. And Yahweh spake unto Moses saying:

2. నీవు అహరోనుతోను అతని కుమారులతోను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులందరితోను ఈలాగు చెప్పుము ఇది యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన మాట

2. Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons and unto all the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, This, is the thing which Yahweh hath commanded, saying:

3. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుటుంబములలో యెహోవా మందిరము ఎదుట యెహోవాకు అర్పణము అర్పించుటకు పూనుకొను వాడు అది ఎద్దేగాని గొఱ్ఱెయేగాని మేకయేగాని

3. What man soever, there be of the house of Israel, who slayeth an ox or lamb or goat, in the camp, or who slayeth it outside the camp;

4. ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునొద్దకు దానిని ముందు తేక పాళెములో వధించినను పాళెమునకు వెలుపల వధించినను ఆ మనుష్యుడు తన ప్రజలలో నుండి కొట్టివేయబడును;

4. and, unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, bringeth it not in, to present as an oblation unto Yahweh, before the habitation of Yahweh, blood, shall be imputed to that man blood, hath he shed, therefore shall that man be cut off from the midst of his people:

5. వాడు రక్తమును ఒలికించిన వాడు; ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు బయట వధించుచున్న బలి పశువులను ఇక బయట వధింపక యెహోవా పేరట యాజకునియొద్దకు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునకే తీసికొని వచ్చి సమాధాన బలిగా అర్పించునట్లు ఆ మనుష్యుడు జనులలోనుండి కొట్టి వేయబడవలెను.

5. to the end that the sons of Israel may bring in their sacrifices which they are offering upon the face of the field, that they may bring them in unto Yahweh unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, unto the priest, and that so as peace-offerings unto Yahweh, they may offer them.

6. యెహోవాకు ఇంపైన సువాసన గలుగునట్లు యాజకుడు ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారము నొద్దనున్న యెహోవా బలిపీఠముమీద వాటి రక్తమును ప్రోక్షించి వాటి క్రొవ్వును దహింపవలెను.

6. Then shall the priest dash the blood against the altar of Yahweh, at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and shall make a perfume of the fat, as a satisfying odour unto Yahweh;

7. వారు వ్యభిచారులై అనుసరించుచు వచ్చిన దయ్యముల పేరట వధించినట్లు ఇకమీదట తమ బలిపశువులను వధింప రాదు. ఇది వారి తర తరములకు వారికి నిత్యమైన కట్టడ.

7. so shall they no more offer their sacrifices unto demons after whom they are unchastely going away, a statute age-abiding, shall this be to them unto their generations.

8. మరియు నీవు వారితో ఇట్లనుము ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుటుంబములలోగాని మీలో నివసించు పరదేశులలో గాని ఒకడు దహనబలినైనను వేరొక యే బలినైనను

8. Wherefore, unto them, shalt thou say: What man soever, there may be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, who causeth to go up an ascending-offering, or a sacrifice;

9. యెహోవాకు అర్పింప నుద్దేశముగలవాడై ప్రత్యక్షపు గుడారముయొక్క ద్వారమునొద్దకు తీసికొని రానియెడల ఆ మనుష్యుడు జనులలోనుండి కొట్టివేయబడును.

9. and unto the entrance of the tent of meeting, doth not bring it in, to offer it unto Yahweh, then shall that man be cut off from among his kinsfolk.

10. మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల కుటుంబములలోనేమి, మీలో నివసించు పరదేశులలోనేమి, ఒకడు దేని రక్తమును తినినను రక్తము తినువానికి నేను విముఖుడనై జనులలోనుండి వాని కొట్టివేయుదును.

10. And, what man soever, there may be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, that partaketh of any manner of blood, then will I set my face against the person that partaketh of the blood, and will cut him off from the midst of his people.

11. రక్తము దేహమునకు ప్రాణము. మీనిమిత్తము ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయునట్లు బలిపీఠముమీద పోయుటకై దానిని మీకిచ్చితిని. రక్తము దానిలోనున్న ప్రాణమునుబట్టి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తము చేయును.

11. For as for the life of the flesh, in the blood, it is, therefore have, I, given it unto you upon the altar, to put a propitiatory-covering over your lives, for the blood, it is, which, by virtue of the life, maketh propitiation.

12. కాబట్టి మీలో ఎవడును రక్తము తినకూడదనియు, మీలో నివసించు ఏ పరదేశియు రక్తము తినకూడదనియు నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

12. For this cause, have I said unto the sons of Israel, Not a person from among you shall partake of blood, Even the sojourner that sojourneth in your midst, shall not partake of blood.

13. మరియు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలోనేగాని మీలో నివసించు పరదేశులలోనేగాని ఒకడు తినదగిన మృగమునైనను పక్షినైనను వేటాడి పట్టినయెడల వాడు దాని రక్తమును ఒలికించి మంటితో కప్పవలెను; ఏలయనగా అది సమస్త దేహములకు ప్రాణాధారము;

13. And, what man soever, there may be of the sons of Israel, or of the sojourners that sojourn in their midst, who taketh by hunting any wild-beast or bird that may be eaten, then shall he pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust;

14. దానిరక్తము దాని ప్రాణమునకాధారము. కాబట్టి మీరు ఏ దేహరక్తమును తినకూడదు. వాటి రక్తము సర్వ దేహములకు ప్రాణాధారము; దానిని తిను ప్రతివాడు మరణశిక్ష నొందునని నేను ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు ఆజ్ఞాపించితిని.

14. for, as for the life of all flesh, the blood thereof, for the life thereof, standeth, therefore have I said unto the sons of Israel Of the blood of no manner of flesh, shall ye partake, For, the life of all flesh is the blood thereof; whoso partaketh thereof, shall be cut off.

15. మరియు కళేబరమునైనను చీల్చబడిన దానినైనను తిను ప్రతివాడు దేశమందు పుట్టినవాడేమి పరదేశియేమి వాడు తన బట్టలను ఉదుకుకొని నీళ్లతో దేహమును కడుగుకొని సాయంకాలమువరకు అపవిత్రుడగును. తరువాత పవిత్రుడగును.

15. And, in the case of any person who eateth that which died of itself or was torn in pieces, whether he be home-born, or a sojourner, then shall he wash his clothes, and bathe in water, and be unclean until the evening, and then be clean.

16. అయితే వాడు వాటిని ఉదుకుకొనకయు తన దేహమును కడుగుకొనకయు ఉండినయెడల వాడు తన దోషశిక్షను భరించును.

16. But, if he wash them not, and his flesh, he do not bathe, then shall he bear his iniquity.
