1. The Israelites again did evil in the LORD's sight after Ehud's death.

2. యెహోవా హాసోరులో ఏలు కనాను రాజైన యాబీనుచేతికి వారిని అప్పగించెను. అతని సేనాధిపతి అన్యుల హరోషెతులో నివసించిన సీసెరా.

2. The LORD turned them over to King Jabin of Canaan, who ruled in Hazor. The general of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth Haggoyim.

3. అతనికి తొమ్మిదివందల ఇనుపరథము లుండెను. అతడు ఇరువది సంవత్సరములు ఇశ్రాయేలీయు లను కఠినమైన బాధపెట్టగా ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱపెట్టిరి.

3. The Israelites cried out for help to the LORD, because Sisera had nine hundred chariots with iron-rimmed wheels, and he cruelly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years.

4. Now Deborah, a prophetess, wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time.

5. ఆమె ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల మన్యమందలి రామా కును బేతేలుకును మధ్యనున్న దెబోరా సరళవృక్షము క్రింద తీర్పుకై కూర్చుండుటకద్దు, తీర్పు చేయుటకై ఇశ్రా యేలీయులు ఆమెయొద్దకు వచ్చు చుండిరి.

5. She would sit under the Date Palm Tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the Ephraimite hill country. The Israelites would come up to her to have their disputes settled.

6. ఆమె నఫ్తాలి కెదెషులోనుండి అబీనోయము కుమారుడైన బారాకును పిలువనంపించి అతనితో ఇట్లనెనునీవువెళ్లి నఫ్తాలీయుల లోను జెబూలూనీయులలోను పదివేలమంది మనుష్యులను తాబోరు కొండయొద్దకు రప్పించుము;

6. She summoned Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali. She said to him, "Is it not true that the LORD God of Israel is commanding you? Go, march to Mount Tabor! Take with you ten thousand men from Naphtali and Zebulun!

7. I will bring Sisera, the general of Jabin's army, to you at the Kishon River, along with his chariots and huge army. I will hand him over to you."

8. బారాకు నీవు నాతోకూడ వచ్చిన యెడల నేను వెళ్లెదను గాని నీవు నాతో కూడ రాని యెడల నేను వెళ్లనని ఆమెతో చెప్పెను.

8. Barak said to her, "If you go with me, I will go. But if you do not go with me, I will not go."

9. అప్పుడు ఆమెనీతో నేను అగత్యముగా వచ్చెదను; అయితే నీవు చేయు ప్రయాణమువలన నీకు ఘనతకలుగదు, యెహోవా ఒక స్త్రీచేతికి సీసెరాను అప్పగించునని చెప్పి తాను లేచి బారాకుతో కూడ కెదెషు నకు వెళ్లెను.

9. She said, "I will indeed go with you. But you will not gain fame on the expedition you are undertaking, for the LORD will turn Sisera over to a woman." Deborah got up and went with Barak to Kedesh.

10. బారాకు జెబూలూనీయులను నఫ్తాలీయు లను కెదెషు నకు పిలిపించినప్పుడు పదివేలమంది మనుష్యులు అతనివెంట వెళ్లిరి;

10. Barak summoned men from Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh. Ten thousand men followed him; Deborah went up with him as well.

11. Now Heber the Kenite had moved away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab, Moses' father-in-law. He lived near the great tree in Zaanannim near Kedesh.

12. When Sisera heard that Barak son of Abinoam had gone up to Mount Tabor,

13. he ordered all his chariotry� nine hundred chariots with iron-rimmed wheels� and all the troops he had with him to go from Harosheth-Haggoyim to the River Kishon.

14. దెబోరాలెమ్ము, యెహోవా సీసెరాను నీ చేతికి అప్పగించిన దినము ఇదే, యెహోవా నీకు ముందుగా బయలుదేరునుగదా అని బారాకుతో చెప్పినప్పుడు, బారాకు ఆ పదివేలమంది మనుష్యులను వెంటబెట్టుకొని తాబోరు కొండ మీదినుండి దిగి వచ్చెను.

14. Deborah said to Barak, "Spring into action, for this is the day the LORD is handing Sisera over to you! Has the LORD not taken the lead?" Barak quickly went down from Mount Tabor with ten thousand men following him.

15. బారాకు వారిని హతము చేయునట్లు యెహోవా సీసెరాను అతని రథములన్నిటిని అతని సర్వ సేనను కలవరపరచగా సీసెరా తన రథము దిగి కాలినడకను పారిపోయెను.

15. The LORD routed Sisera, all his chariotry, and all his army with the edge of the sword. Sisera jumped out of his chariot and ran away on foot.

16. బారాకు ఆ రథములను సేనను అన్యుల హరోషెతువరకు తరుమగా సీసెరాయొక్క సర్వసేనయు కత్తివాత కూలెను, ఒక్కడైనను మిగిలియుండలేదు

16. Now Barak chased the chariots and the army all the way to Harosheth Haggoyim. Sisera's whole army died by the edge of the sword; not even one survived!

17. హాసోరురాజైన యాబీనుకును కయీనీయుడైన హెబెరు వంశస్థులకును సమాధానము కలిగియుండెను గనుక సీసెరా కాలినడకను కయీనీయుడగు హెబెరు భార్యయైన యాయేలు గుడారమునకు పారిపోయెను.

17. Now Sisera ran away on foot to the tent of Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, for King Jabin of Hazor and the family of Heber the Kenite had made a peace treaty.

18. అప్పుడు యాయేలు సీసెరాను ఎదుర్కొన బోయి అతనిని చూచి నా యేలినవాడా నాతట్టు తిరుగుము, తిరుగుము భయ పడకుమని చెప్పినందున అతడు ఆమె గుడారమును జొచ్చెను.

18. Jael came out to welcome Sisera. She said to him, "Stop and rest, my lord. Stop and rest with me. Don't be afraid." So Sisera stopped to rest in her tent, and she put a blanket over him.

19. He said to her, "Give me a little water to drink, because I'm thirsty." She opened a goatskin container of milk and gave him some milk to drink. Then she covered him up again.

20. He said to her, "Stand watch at the entrance to the tent. If anyone comes along and asks you, 'Is there a man here?' say 'No.'"

21. పిమ్మట హెబెరు భార్యయైన యాయేలు గుడారపు మేకు తీసికొని సుత్తె చేతపట్టు కొని అతనియొద్దకు మెల్లగా వచ్చి అతనికి అలసట చేత గాఢనిద్ర కలిగియుండగా నేలకు దిగునట్లు ఆ మేకును అతని కణతలలో దిగగొట్టగా

21. Then Jael wife of Heber took a tent peg in one hand and a hammer in the other. She crept up on him, drove the tent peg through his temple into the ground while he was asleep from exhaustion, and he died.

22. అతడు చచ్చెను బారాకు సీసెరాను తరుముచుండగా యాయేలు అతనిని ఎదుర్కొన వచ్చిరమ్ము, నీవు వెదకుచున్న మనుష్యుని నీకు చూపిం చెదననగా అతడు వచ్చినప్పుడు సీసెరా చచ్చి పడి యుండెను, ఆ మేకు అతని కణతలలో నుండెను.

22. Now Barak was chasing Sisera. Jael went out to welcome him. She said to him, "Come here and I will show you the man you are searching for." He went with her into the tent, and there he saw Sisera sprawled out dead with the tent peg in his temple.

23. ఆ దినమున దేవుడు ఇశ్రాయేలీయులయెదుట కనాను రాజైన యాబీనును అణచెను.

23. That day God humiliated King Jabin of Canaan before the Israelites.

24. తరువాత వారు కనాను రాజైన యాబీనును సంహరించువరకు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల చెయ్యి కనాను రాజైన యాబీనుకు విరోధముగా అంతకంతకు హెచ్చుచువచ్చెను.

24. Israel's power continued to overwhelm King Jabin of Canaan until they did away with him.
