1. Then the LORD answered Job:

2. ఆక్షేపణలు చేయజూచువాడు సర్వశక్తుడగు దేవునితో వాదింపవచ్చునా? దేవునితో వాదించువాడు ఇప్పుడు ప్రత్యుత్తర మియ్యవలెను.

2. "Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him? Let the person who accuses God give him an answer!"

3. అప్పుడు యోబు యెహోవాకు ఈలాగున ప్రత్యుత్తర మిచ్చెను

3. Then Job answered the LORD:

4. చిత్తగించుము, నేను నీచుడను, నేను, నీకు ఏమని ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెదను? నా నోటిమీద నా చేతిని ఉంచుకొందును.

4. "Indeed, I am completely unworthy� how could I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth to silence myself.

5. ఒక మారు మాటలాడితిని నేను మరల నోరెత్తను. రెండు సారులు మాటలాడితిని ఇకను పలుకను.

5. I have spoken once, but I cannot answer; twice, but I will say no more."

6. అప్పుడు యెహోవా సుడిగాలిలోనుండి ఈలాగు యోబుతో ప్రత్యుత్తరమిచ్చెను

6. Then the LORD answered Job from the whirlwind:

7. పౌరుషము తెచ్చుకొని నీ నడుము కట్టుకొనుము నేను నీకు ప్రశ్నవేసెదను నీవు ప్రత్యుత్తరమిమ్ము.
లూకా 12:35

7. "Get ready for a difficult task like a man. I will question you and you will inform me!

8. నీవు నా న్యాయమును బొత్తిగా కొట్టివేసెదవా? నిర్దోషివని నీవు తీర్పు పొందుటకై నామీద అపరాధము మోపుదువా?

8. Would you indeed annul my justice? Would you declare me guilty so that you might be right?

9. దేవునికి కలిగియున్న బాహుబలము నీకు కలదా? ఆయన ఉరుము ధ్వనివంటి స్వరముతో నీవు గర్జింప గలవా?

9. Do you have an arm as powerful as God's, and can you thunder with a voice like his?

10. ఆడంబర మహాత్మ్యములతో నిన్ను నీవు అలంకరించు కొనుము గౌరవప్రభావములను ధరించుకొనుము.

10. Adorn yourself, then, with majesty and excellency, and clothe yourself with glory and honor!

11. నీ ఆగ్రహమును ప్రవాహములుగా కుమ్మరించుము గర్విష్టులైన వారినందరిని చూచి వారిని క్రుంగ జేయుము.

11. Scatter abroad the abundance of your anger. Look at every proud man and bring him low;

12. గర్విష్టులైన వారిని చూచి వారిని అణగగొట్టుము దుష్టులు ఎక్కడనున్నను వారిని అక్కడనే అణగ ద్రొక్కుము.

12. Look at every proud man and abase him; crush the wicked on the spot!

13. కనబడకుండ వారినందరిని బూడిదెలో పాతిపెట్టుము సమాధిలో వారిని బంధింపుము.

13. Hide them in the dust together, imprison them in the grave.

14. అప్పుడు నీ దక్షిణహస్తమే నిన్ను రక్షింపగలదని నేను నిన్నుగూర్చి ఒప్పుకొనెదను.

14. Then I myself will acknowledge to you that your own right hand can save you.

15. నేను చేసిన నీటిగుఱ్ఱమును నీవు చూచియున్నావు గదా ఎద్దువలె అది గడ్డి మేయును.

15. "Look now at Behemoth, which I made as I made you; it eats grass like the ox.

16. దాని శక్తి దాని నడుములో ఉన్నది దాని బలము దాని కడుపు నరములలో ఉన్నది.

16. Look at its strength in its loins, and its power in the muscles of its belly.

17. దేవదారుచెట్టు కొమ్మ వంగునట్లు అది తన తోకను వంచును దాని తొడల నరములు దిట్టముగా సంధింపబడి యున్నవి.

17. It makes its tail stiff like a cedar, the sinews of its thighs are tightly wound.

18. దాని యెముకలు ఇత్తడి గొట్టములవలె ఉన్నవి దాని ప్రక్క టెముకలు ఇనుపకమ్ములవలె ఉన్నవి

18. Its bones are tubes of bronze, its limbs like bars of iron.

19. అది దేవుడు సృష్టించినవాటిలో గొప్పది దాని సృజించినవాడే దాని ఖడ్గమును దానికిచ్చెను.

19. It ranks first among the works of God, the One who made it has furnished it with a sword.

20. పర్వతములలో దానికి మేత మొలచును అరణ్యజంతువులన్నియు అచ్చట ఆడుకొనును.

20. For the hills bring it food, where all the wild animals play.

21. తామర చెట్లక్రిందను జమ్ముగడ్డి మరుగునను పఱ్ఱలోను అది పండుకొనును

21. Under the lotus trees it lies, in the secrecy of the reeds and the marsh.

22. తామరచెట్ల నీడను అది ఆశ్రయించును నదిలోని నిరవంజిచెట్లు దాని చుట్టుకొనియుండును.

22. The lotus trees conceal it in their shadow; the poplars by the stream conceal it.

23. నదీప్రవాహము పొంగి పొర్లినను అది భయపడదు యొర్దానువంటి ప్రవాహము పొంగి దానినోటియొద్దకు వచ్చినను అది ధైర్యము విడువదు.

23. If the river rages, it is not disturbed, it is secure, though the Jordan should surge up to its mouth.

24. అది చూచుచుండగా ఎవరైన దానిని పట్టుకొనగలరా? ఉరియొగ్గి దాని ముక్కునకు సూత్రము వేయగలరా?

24. Can anyone catch it by its eyes, or pierce its nose with a snare?
